Experienced Pal for your BFFs!
I am a lifelong animal lover who has experience with dogs of every stripe! From the gentle giant St. Bernard to the spunky rescue Chihuahua, I've had experience caring for (and loving) dogs of every size, age, & breed. After growing up surrounded by cats & dogs, I adopted my own senior rescue pup, Missy Elliot, about 10 years ago. Missy crossed the rainbow bridge back in April but she created a soft spot in my heart for Senior dogs and I would love nothing more than to spend some time taking your senior on leisurely walks with plenty of time to sniff. At the same time, I would also love taking a younger pup to the park & working with them on how to sit!

Jeannie is the best! My animals loved her right away. Percy is a Senior and it’s always stressful for me to leave him with new people but Jeannie but those fears at ease right away talking about her own senior that had passed, with all the love she poured into her dog I knew my Percy would be safe! Mister loved her and Princess was her cuddle buddy (eventually, she does take a while to warm up but basically first day was cuddling!) I would definitely use her again and plan on rebooking whenever my next trip is!
Jeannie was AMAZING! First off, she is super friendly and a very warm person. She kept me updated with multiple photos throughout the whole week. The girls were so happy with her! Would 100% recommend!
Jeannie is an incredibly caring, loving dog owner. She takes really good care of her dog Missy and any other pets she might be pet sitting. Jeannie has taken care of my cats multiple times and did an excellent job. She will make sure she has all the care details for my cats and sends frequent updates. I highly recommend Jeannie!
Jeannie is the absolute BEST!!! She has taken care of my dog and cat on too many occasions to count, and she has always been incredibly responsible, reliable, and, most importantly, so sweet and caring with my fur babies. My dog is not the easiest--she's a rescue who is very anxious, and it takes her a long time to build trust. As such, I was very concerned about finding someone to care for her. But she LOVES Jeannie, and that says A LOT for a dog that assumes everyone might be trying to murder her at all times. Having seen Jeannie with her own dog, I can attest to the fact that Jeannie has treated my dog though she were her own. I seriously cannot say enough great things about her! Bonus: if you want them, she takes great pet pics to keep you updated and to fill the void when you're away. You and your pets will not be disappointed with Jeannie :)
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I am currently between positions and so, starting mid-July, my calendar is wide open. I have a few scattered trips in late August, but otherwise I am free.

Safety, trust & environment
As the mom of a pup myself, I am very attuned to the specific needs of each dog or cat. I do my best to integrate myself into the pet's best schedule and I stay in consistent communication with you to check in. Plus, I try to send at least two pictures/updates a day so you can be sure your fur baby is in good hands!

A typical day
I love to match your pup's specific needs and interests - for some, it's a game of non-stop fetch for 20 minutes, for others, a long & leisurely sniff walk. No matter the pup though, I always give them some loving and a belly rub!
