“Emily was absolutely AMAZING!! I’m hesitant to let anyone watch my cats, but I had an emergency and she quickly responded to my request. My cats adored her (even my “moody” rescue cat!!) and she was very punctual. I cannot thank her enough for the level of care she has shown.”

“What can I say? Ashley K. is the greatest when it comes to taking care of my cats. I was able to fully enjoy my vacation because I knew that Theo and Lena were in good hands and I did not have to worry about their care. Thanks again Ashley, you are my go-to-person for my cat sitting. You're the best!”

I live in an apartment, and have 1 very friendly French bulldog (she is very old and sassy, but still very kind 🤍). Please be at ease your fur baby will get all the exercise and love they deserve! I will make sure to give them my best while you’re away!
“Chase did everything we asked and our dogs were well taken care of. I appreciated how gentle he was in response to our girly’s barking. He spent extra time with them the first night and communicated when he had schedule changes.”

About: Hi, I’m Anneliese! As a dog owner for over 13 years, I know firsthand that pets are truly family. I understand that every single pet has their own unique personality, quirks, and routine, and I pride myself on taking the time to truly understand what makes your furry friend feel safe and happy. Whether it’s matching the high energy of a spirited small dog, respecting the independent boundaries of a cat, or maintaining the peaceful routine of a senior pet, I’m here to provide dedicated, personalized care. I’ll treat your home with total respect and your pets like my own! My schedule is perfectly suited for house and pet sitting. I am a full-time student taking online classes, which means my 'desk' moves wherever I go! I’m highly flexible and will be spending most of my day right alongside your pet, keeping them company while I study. Your pet gets a dedicated buddy, and you get peace of mind knowing their routine won't be disrupted. To ensure the absolute best experience for your pet, I exclusively offer house sitting and pet care inside your home. At my own home, I have a happy family of four cats and one dog, so I know firsthand how stressful a crowded or unfamiliar environment can be for animals! By coming to your home, I ensure your pet gets to stay in their safe, comfortable haven with 100% of my undivided attention. My personal 'zoo' has taught me that every single animal has a distinct personality, boundary, and set of needs. I will treat your home with the utmoste respect while following your exact routine for feeding, playtime, and safety. Because my college classes are mostly online, I will be around your house for most of the day, keeping your pet company and sending you plenty of photo updates!
“Samantha took care of my cats for 10 days! They're loveable rascals but not the best cats in the world so I'm sure it was overwhelming at times. However, she was nothing but positive throughout the last ten days. Thank you so so much!”

About: I used to work in a Petshotel taking care of dogs and cats. I have a passion for making animals happy and providing them the the proper care they need. I can administer medications in a variety of ways and have been able to monitor multiple dogs at once during playtimes. I have had 10 dogs in my lifetime, and I can't wait to meet even more. I ask that I meet every pet before hand to make sure we will be a good fit before providing services. I recently graduated with my masters, so I am on the hunt for a full time job. Currently my availability is fully open, but is subject to change later. I had dog-sat many of times before and am extremely respectful of other's property and how they choose to take care of their pet. I like to send pictures of people's pets to them while they are away so they can relax knowing they are in good care.

About: I've been caring for dogs for 6 years, my own dog is a Chorkie (Chihuahua/Yorkie mix), who I've had since he was a puppy. I also have experience caring for an American Bulldog, giving me experience with both large and small breeds. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, and keeping dogs company. I’m patient, attentive, and understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’ll treat your pet with the same care I give my own. I currently am a college student as well as working part time in the mornings. I am available any time after 11:30 AM on weekdays & weekends except for Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am available in the morning/early morning on Wednesdays and Thursdays. When caring for your pet, I’ll treat both your pet and your space with respect. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep your pet supervised and safe, and maintain their normal routine as much as possible. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re away, and I’ll keep you updated throughout my visit.

“Makenzie helped me out by providing drop in care for my two cats when I had to leave town last minute. She is great at communicating and cared for my cats as well as keeping an eye out on my home. So appreciative for her help and caring spirit.”

“Cayli is my go to sitter! She is phenomenal! I have used many times from overnight visits to bathroom breaks. I have a very elderly dog who needs special care and I can be away from home with complete confidence that my dog and home are very well taken care of. We have raved about her and referred her to others who love her too. She is great!”
“Jackie is the sweetest and my very unsocialized pups just adored her! I appreciate her playing with them and snuggling them and treating them like they are her own. 10/10 would recommend!”

About: I have owned and taken care of both young and old dogs and cats most of my life. I seem to understand animals even better than humans in most cases, with animals being one of the best sources of stress relief for me. While not certified, I also trained the last few dogs that I owned, teaching both spoken and hand gesture commands. I will only be working part- time during sitting, working with online coaching clients and possibly making deliveries on Doordash during the day. In the evenings (6- 9p.m.) Monday through Friday, I do martial arts training at a dojo in Concord. I usually prefer sitting for clients with a fenced in yard for both letting the dog outside for bathroom breaks and also for play time such as throwing a ball, as well as having indoor play time in between working on my online coaching and delivery duties.
About: Hi! I have 7+ years of hands-on animal care experience and started working with animals as a kennel tech and bather. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, reptiles, and rodents of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I’ve also worked at an animal hospital and a dog training facility. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs, shy/nervous dogs, puppies, seniors, and multi-pet households. I also have bathing experience and genuinely love making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I do Rover as a fun side job because I truly love animals, and I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own 🤍 I work full-time at an office job so my evenings and weekends are typically free! I leave my house at 8:30, can take my lunch hour whenever throughout the day and usually get home by 6:30. I always have Sundays off and will either have a Saturday or Monday off as well. My house has a fenced in yard with plenty of shade and nature. My roommate and I have two senior dogs that spend most of their time napping or asking for pets. We feed them twice a day and take them out to potty 4-5x daily. We also have two house cats that keep each other company. They are all neutered/spayed.
“Rachel is amazing! As a pet sitter myself I was very picky when looking for a sitter! She is very knowledgeable and did great with my Doberman that has really bad anxiety. She is willing to learn how to take care of my reptiles for the future and wasn't overwhelmed by the number of animals that I own.”

About: I always hear people talk about the love of their pet. I understand how that feels since I now have a fur baby of my own. I work from home for the most part; therefore, I have the ability to give your fur baby the attention and care that they deserve. Pet love is the purest form of love. I have a fenced in big back yard with plenty of room for your fur baby to run and play. I also have a cozy and clean indoor space where your baby can rest and feel at home.
About: I had a German Sheperd, Co. (Ko-dot), for nearly 13 years. She was my everything. I have had/taken care of all kinds of animals including hamsters, gerbils, fish, cats, and of course dogs. I'm currently a stay at home mom of 4 kids. My youngest is 5 months old so my schedule watching your babies will have to be around my baby, but with being a homeschool mom as well, my schedule is quite flexible. I had my sweet German Shepard for nearly 13 years. So I can easily let you dogs out, crate them if necessary or take them on short walks as well depending on what you need.
“Danielle was great with our cat. She sent pictures every day, as requested, and even a video. We came home to a very happy and well cared for kitty cat. Danielle was easy to work with, always replied to every text or question, was professional, personable and very sweet with our little fur baby. We’ve never used this service before, but we definitely will again, with full confidence. And we’d absolutely book again with Danielle!”
“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Did amazing with our dog & got the best pictures! Provided complete updates on each visit. Would recommend to everyone & would rebook without question.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
