“I cannot say enough wonderful things about lyndsey! She kept up updated the entire time we were gone and really paid special attention to our pups. One of our dogs can get a little stressed being away from us. Lyndsey made sure to update us on how he was doing and spent time cuddling him to make sure he wasn’t too overwhelmed. This is one of the first times we have gone out of town and haven’t stressed about him because we knew he was in such good hands! Highly recommended Lyndsey!”

“Cait took such good care of Barley. He loves playtime with her. She takes him out to potty frequently which is so helpful with his training. I highly recommend her services.”

“Alyssa did an amazing job taking care of our pup, we needed very short notice help and she made me feel safe leaving our dog in her care with lots of pictures and detailed updates!! Will definitely book her again next time we travel!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for most of my life. I’ve been asked by friends and family to dog sit many times, and have helped care for anxious dogs, as well as basic needs such as food and walks. I can also help with basic puppy training! I am available in the evenings M-F after 5pm, and on most weekends to stop in for visits or to stay overnight with your pet if needed! Right now, I have two cats in my home, but have access to a big yard and nearby parks for walking dogs and letting them play.
“Chase did everything we asked and our dogs were well taken care of. I appreciated how gentle he was in response to our girly’s barking. He spent extra time with them the first night and communicated when he had schedule changes.”

“Kathy did absolutely great with Lilly. She was very reliable and did a wonderful job with updating me on every visit. I felt like my dog was in great hands while o was away. My first time with her services and I can tell she is very dependable, which is so important when leaving your dogs in someone else’s care. I will definitely be rebooking with her. If you want someone honest, caring, and reliable, book with Kathy!”

“He accommodated his schedule to fit out pet’s needs. Kept communication and wrote daily updates on my pets! Plenty of pictures which I loved. I appreciate his knowledge and willingness to work with exotic animals! We appreciate you”
“Maylin was awesome. She came at the same time daily and followed all instructions for my cats medicine and diet. She is an elderly cat and it was very nice knowing someone took it as seriously as I do.”

“Ronnie was wonderful in all ways. She was always on time, if not early. Communication was full of great info about her sessions with our dogs, and we got lots of photos and videos while we were away. From the moment we met her, our dogs clearly loved her.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Landis
Ellie has watched our cat several times now, and she is continuously reliable and wonderful! We had to leave for our trip during a boiled water advisory, and Ellie was so kind and accommodating to follow the recommendations once lifted, to ensure the water was flushed and clean for the cat to drink and for hand washing. Our cat loves Ellie’s visits because she gets lots of pets and attention! I highly recommend Ellie as your next pet sitter!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Landis. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
