4. Ruth H.
“Absolutely phenomenal. Went on a trip for 4 days by plane. Usually I bring my pup with me but this wasn’t an option this time. Ruth took SUCH great care of him. She sent pictures, gave awesome updates. I was nervous my pup would be anxious or sad while I was gone, but I’m not even sure he noticed I was gone once Ruth starting stopping in with him! Couldn’t recommend her enough. I have full faith and trust in her watching my only pup. The best experience I’ve had.”
5. Alysa F.
“She handled our 3 large dogs with experience. She was very punctual and always kept us informed. I appreciate all the pictures. She is very good with the dogs. Highly recommend her!! 5 stars!”
6. Ashley R.
About: My name is Ashley, and I am 27 years old. I am in graduate school online, so I have flexibility in my schedule. I used to have a pitbull that passed away. I have house sat many times for friends, and I always love it! I love all types of animals, and I am calm, which many animals love! I used to be a teacher, so I can follow directions and guidelines very well! I have watched dogs at my home before, and I have also watched dogs at the owner's house or visited their dog at their house. I can handle many different sizes of pets. My pitbull was strong, so she gave me a lot of experience in how to walk a dog. I currently am a contract employee, so I make my own schedule and therefore have a very flexible schedule. I can work around any schedule! I can play and walk your dogs. I can play with your cats! I will give your pet comfort while you are away to reduce their loneliness.
7. Andrea M.
“Andrea is a wonderful person and animal lover. She has cared for a multitude of pets for years and treats them all like family. She is very mature and understands safety and health issues that can occur and knows how to handle them. Andrea even has a background as a zookeeper and was a primary caregiver for a gorilla and an orangutan and it's newborn! I would recommend her without hesitation. Our dog and cats love her!”
8. Abby B.

11. Katlyn R.
About: I’ve been fostering animals since I was 16 with my family. I have been relied on in the community to take care of pets of all kinds and cater to each and every pets schedule. I work 8-5 Monday through Friday and my husband is home throughout the day. I come home for my one hour break daily since my home is 7 minutes away from my work. There is a bark park in our facilities and I always ensure each pet gets enough walk time and play time as needed. If the pet is on a food schedule I ensure thier schedule and needs are met.
12. Joseph R.
“Joseph is a kind and caring pet care-giver. He has been a pet owner all of his life, and once you meet him it is obvious how much his own dog means to him. I have had Joe watch my pets many times, and he always does a fantastic job. He sends frequent updates and photos, and I feel totally confident that my animals are in excellent care with him.”
13. Bree L.
“Bree is the best! Our three babies are a handful, especially when it comes to dinner time and Bree does a wonderful job with them. We can’t wait to have her back!”
14. McKenzie C.
“She is the most caring person I know. McKenzie is obsessed with all animals, and would have her house full of all the pets if she could. You would have no worries about her taking care of your pet because she will love them like her own.”
15. Taren M.
“Taren is the best. She has been walking my babies off and on for a year now. She is always so thorough with her notes, and my boys love her. Thank you for all you do, Taren!”
16. Courtney B.
“I have searched Rover for a full time sitter for months now and Courtney is literally the only reliable sitter I have found. Not only does Tank love her to pieces, but she is so quick to respond with her schedule and does amazing at reaching out! If you are using anyone that isn't Courtney, you are not getting the best care for your fur baby! 🖤”
17. Storm S.
“Storm was a great sitter for my two guinea pigs. Storm was super attentive to their needs and sent me lots of updates and pictures so I hardly felt like I was away!”
18. Jacob T.
About: I grew up on a farm in central Virginia. Over the years I have cared for dogs, cats, goats, cows, horses, chickens, and peacocks. On numerous occasions I have assisted these animals with giving birth as well as aftercare and medication management. I currently have an 11 year old Border Collie mix who has some GI issues and requires homemade food and a 3 year old cat with severe allergies so no request is too absurd! I understand how important our pets are and I will do whatever it takes to make sure your fur babies comfortable and healthy. My Fiancé and I just moved to Mooresville. I am available weekdays and most weekends. For drop ins any time works! Late at night or early in the morning, I’ll make it happen! I understand that some animals need more care and assistance than others. No request is too absurd. Timing, medication management, food management, all will be done to your requirements. I don’t mind providing lots of pictures and videos.
19. Raquel A.
About: With over 8 years of experience as a veterinary technician, I have cared for pets of all ages and types, ranging from domestic animals like dogs and cats to more specialized species. Growing up on a farm and having pets throughout my life has further deepened my connection to animals. I continue to assist in the care of farm animals on my parents' farm, providing hands-on support and utilizing the skills I've honed over the years. My comprehensive background includes medical care, routine check-ups, and ensuring the overall well-being of a wide variety of animals. I am a stay-at-home parent, so my schedule is generally flexible and allows me to be available most of the time. The only exception is on days when my kids have sports practice, during which I’m occupied with taking them to and from their activities. Otherwise, I can manage my time around daily responsibilities at home. We currently have one dog who goes with us everywhere. We go on daily walks and bike rides with her and she also has a fenced in backyard. She is always monitored while she is in the yard. I am very careful to keep an eye out for not only my dog but yours as well.
20. Lydia H.
About: I grew up with dogs and cats all my life! I own dogs and cats now! I also have chickens and geese. I love walking dogs! I am very flexible and will accommodate to about anything. I don’t work and stay home with my own pet and son. I am always available. I always make sure I have the owners schedule that they do with their pets and I follow it very carefully. I want the pets to feel as if they are on vacation!
