My most recent experience in animal care was at Harbor Point Animal Hospital (5.5yrs) I was a Fear Free ELITE certified veterinary assistant, specializing in animals who needed a little extra care or attention. Someone is home majority of the time. We tend to ask that dogs that are staying with us be crate trained, but special situations such as puppies who are still learning would be ok. If we do get puppies they will receive continued reinforcements of their training (commands, crate training, house training) while they are with us.

About: Our dog, a sweet as pie, moderate energy, ~5 year old husky mix is seeking puppy friends of all sizes for play dates and sleepovers - so we’re opening our home for doggy daycare and overnights! My husband and I both work from home with flexible jobs, so they will be constantly supervised whether their playtime takes them zooming through our house, napping on the couch, or into our fenced in backyard. Weather permitting, they have full indoor/outdoor access to take potty breaks as they need, with scheduled potty breaks available for those who need a reminder to go outside. Overnights can be crated in our living room if you choose, or uncrated dogs are welcome to stay in our bedroom (snuggles included in your stay). Send your pup to stay with our crew, and we’ll make sure they feel like part of the fam! My husband and I both work from home with flexible jobs, so dogs will be constantly supervised and able to go outside whenever they need. I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly, moderate energy dog who would love to show your dog all his favorite toys and places to zoom.

About: My favorite childhood memories are that with my German Shepherds Carson and Lady and my Chihuahua Nukiums. When in college I dog walked and pet sat my boss' French bulldog Beatrice and her lovely cat Ms. Kitty. Though Ms. Kitty only used me for a quick rub and for me to fill her bowls, Beatrice and I went on plenty of errands together. Currently I have a Silky Terrier named Rocky, a cat named Nipsey (who hides from visitors:), a rabbit named Daisy and two pet loving children who would love to have playdates with your furry family member. My kids and I have lots of energy. We are used to walking Rocky and letting him play in the backyard several times a day from 6am-9pm. If you would like a friendly dog walker, or someone to check on your cats I would love to help! I even enjoy watering plants and taking care of exotic pets if needed. I am a teacher so I am off during the summer and would otherwise add your pet care and checkins into my daily routine. I also have two kids ages 8 and 14 who love animals and will sometimes ask to come along and help out. I usually walk my dog once a day and let him enjoy the backyard for 5-15 minutes (depending on the weather) three times a day. However, I prefer to cater to your schedule which is why I usually request to have a meet and greet.

About: I have always LOVED animals from a very young age and knew it was my passion in life. I have always been dog sitting sense the age of 13 years old. I dog sit for my grandparents, my best friends grandparents, family friends, and also my friends animals. I did work for a dog kennel for a very short amount of time due to other job opportunities, but i loved the dogs there as if they were my own. I can’t wait to meet you little ones and fall in love with them!! I currently work part time, so I have plenty of time to help take care of your fur babies while you are at work or away. I have a 15 foot lead that I hook my dog up to for when he wants outside. It gives plenty of room for him to explore while also staying in our yard. We go on walks around the neighborhood about every 2 hours for potty breaks, as well as mental and physical stimulation. We also occasionally enjoy car rides to the dog park for extra fun and exercise. Since my yard is unfenced, I have a secure outdoor lead available. If your dog enjoys spending time outside like mine, I’d be happy to accommodate that upon request. For safety and comfort, I also have a crate available and can crate your dog or mine as needed.
