“Brianna was great with our girl, Penny! She was so sweet, caring and patient during her overnight stay, as well as very respectful of our home. We look forward to having her help us again soon!”

“Madison was awesome! She arrived on time as expected for both the meet and greet and the first overnight. She took very detailed information regarding Bebe's care and routine. She took excellent care of Bebe and sent me regular updates and pictures. I'm already getting on her schedule for my next trip out of town. I would recommend her to anyone needing a caring dog sitter.”

About: When my husband and I moved in together 5 years ago, we decided to foster dogs knowing that we were not ready for the lifelong commitment of a pet of our own. I was raised in Raleigh with cats and backyard chickens, and he was raised on an NC farm with cats, dogs, chickens, and goats. We both LOVE animals and decided to foster with Australian Shepherds Furever Fostering agency during the pandemic. We successfully took in, trained, and found homes for 5 wonderful dogs - each with different needs and have helped out with other dogs in the agency. When we were no longer able to take on the full commitment of fostering, we transitioned to dogsitting and have cared for 1-2 dogs at a time over the past 4 years. Currently, we do not have a foster or a dog or our own at our house and are available to dogsit and care for other animals. We especially love caring for senior dogs and dogs who like to go on runs and hikes. I typically am available 3 days a week and any doggy daycare guests I have with me will have more full attention to follow me around, go for walks and play in our backyard, and occasionally go on field trips to a public park, cafes, or meetup with another dog friend. I bake homemade dog treats frequently as well and the dogs love to help bake! I have used martingale collars and harnesses on all of our fosters and have extra leashes. I have a fully fenced backyard and 2 different sized crates available if needed. My house is fully puppy-proofed, I have a variety of different types of dog toys for both mental and physical stimulation, and I am very flexible with accommodating special requests for all of our dog guests. When I am available to care for dogs on my days off or weekends, I am fully available to be with them and I love to take backyard fetch and potty breaks in the morning and afternonon and longer walks/runs at lunch or in the evening. For dogs that are boarding with me, we like to plan dog-friendly activities in the evenings whether that's going to a dog park, a cafe, watching a movie at home on the couch together, or doing house projects. I love having a dog by my side at all times, and they love it too. All dogs will receive a full sniff-tour of our house and yard upon arrival so that they are comfortable with their surroundings. Our house has been rigorously puppy-proofed for safety and our backyard is fully fenced. Whenever dogs go out into the backyard, I am out there with them to supervise, play, and ensure that they are safe at all times. All dogs in my care will receive positive-reinforcement for good behavior and maybe a treat or two with permission of the owner.

During my stay with your fur baby you will recover lots of pictures and updates! This is my job full time right now so I am fully committed to you and your pets needs! I dope you consider me in the future for all your pet needs. I am always available for owner or pet needs. I stay in home full-time or as needed and give pets plenty of potty breaks, lots of play time/ attention, and check water/ food bowls regularly depending on their feeding schedule. I give lots of love and treat your pets like my own while in the home!
“Deanna is amazing. We received daily photos and notes about Asia. Asia was very well taken care of. When we got home the bedding and towels had been washed and folded on the bed. Deanna treated our apartment as if it was her home. She even set the trash out to be picked up. I cannot say enough about her. If you need a sitter in your home, she is the one to get. We will definitely have her back again. Thank you Deanna.”

“Johnathon did a great job watching Sophie over the weekend! She is on a schedule with her feeding/supplements to keep her stable, and he did his best to stick to that and make any adjustments as needed. I appreciate his professionalism and consideration with everything going on with her, and I appreciate the communication of noticing when she wasn’t eating enough, etc. I was definitely less anxious leaving her this time. Thank you again!!”

“Melanie and Taylor exceeded my expectations for my first experience with a pet and house sitter in many years. I tend to be quite neurotic about my fur babies and rarely leave them behind, but to say they were well cared for is an understatement. Melanie was the main caregiver this week, and her communication with me never made me worry or feel uneasy while we were away. My three little ones can be quite the handful, but she helped ease any stress by sending extremely detailed updates throughout the day with lots of photos. It was so wonderful! I will not hesitate to call on this lovely team of caring individuals again in the future! ♥️”
About: Always had a knack for having pets open up to me. People call me a pet whisperer but honestly i think its because im a calm and relaxed person I have school from 5pm to possibly 10pm but most likely ill get out by 9pm. So before 5 is always an option and i wont be gone long for overnight stay I have cared for pets with strict diets. And ones that required a lot of medicine and care from injuries or being older. Pretty open and confident to take care of any special pet needs
“Katie sent us so many pictures and kept us well updated on our pets while we were away. We came home to happy, healthy pets and our home just as clean as we left it! We definitely recommend Katie if you need house-sitting!”

“Mia is an amazing pet and house sitter! It's always a little nerve-wracking leaving your fur babies in someone else's hands but I could not have asked for a better person to take those worries away. She was polite, communicative, and I can tell my pets felt loved and cared for while we were away. I will absolutely use her services again and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Gabby is the best! This was my first time being away from Oliver overnight since we adopted him and I was very nervous. She took great care of him and I could tell he had a blast with her.”

“I cannot stress enough how awesome Dawn and Steven were. They were very helpful and sent tons of pictures and videos of our fur baby. I would highly recommend using them, as I’m not sure it can get any better.”

About: My favorite childhood memories are that with my German Shepherds Carson and Lady and my Chihuahua Nukiums. When in college I dog walked and pet sat my boss' French bulldog Beatrice and her lovely cat Ms. Kitty. Though Ms. Kitty only used me for a quick rub and for me to fill her bowls, Beatrice and I went on plenty of errands together. Currently I have a Silky Terrier named Rocky, a cat named Nipsey (who hides from visitors:), a rabbit named Daisy and two pet loving children who would love to have playdates with your furry family member. My kids and I have lots of energy. We are used to walking Rocky and letting him play in the backyard several times a day from 6am-9pm. If you would like a friendly dog walker, or someone to check on your cats I would love to help! I even enjoy watering plants and taking care of exotic pets if needed. I am a teacher so I am off during the summer and would otherwise add your pet care and checkins into my daily routine. I also have two kids ages 8 and 14 who love animals and will sometimes ask to come along and help out. I usually walk my dog once a day and let him enjoy the backyard for 5-15 minutes (depending on the weather) three times a day. However, I prefer to cater to your schedule which is why I usually request to have a meet and greet.
About: Since I was 11 years old, I've taken care of dogs since they were always in my family. I have a way with pets, especially the playful ones. I'm always willing to play and show your pet attention when needed. My schedule is pretty open through the week. I just like for you to let me know at least a day in advance to prepare and to make sure I will be available at that time. I care for pets, personal space, and play areas. I will comfort them in their zone around the areas that they are familiar with. Continue to create a safe environment for all of us.

“Caitlin always takes such great care of our babies! She is great at giving updates and I always have such peace of mind leaving my girls with her. She is also a great house guest and leaves our house spotless every time. Our fur babies are always so calm and happy when we return and we can tell that they have been well cared for and loved on. I definitely highly recommend her if you are looking for a sitter! 😊”

Johnathan cared for Abby over Christmas and was absolutely amazing—we couldn’t be more thankful for him. He was incredibly responsive, extremely supportive of her needs, and his professional background working with animals really showed. Our dog normally struggles when we leave due to separation anxiety; however, it was clear she felt comfortable with him, as her routine—including her bathroom schedule—remained completely the same. He truly went above and beyond for us, and we felt completely at ease knowing Abby was in such capable hands.

I appreciate his professionalism and consideration with everything going on with her, and I appreciate the communication of noticing when she wasn’t eating enough, etc. I was definitely less anxious leaving her this time. Thank you again!!

Jordan was amazing!!! She sent me updates and kept me in the loop the whole weekend. She spent so much time with my boy and he seemed so relaxed when I got home!! She kept my home so clean ( I think it was cleaner than when I left ;) ). We loved her and will definitely be using her again!
