About: A little background: I have been a pet owner since I was a child. I grew up on a small farm complete with horses, chickens, rabbits, goats, cats and of course dogs. I'm the current owner of a German shepherd, 2 Pomeranians, 2 cats, 5 horses, multiple chickens, and rabbits. I have years of animal handling experience through volunteering at the Central Florida Zoo and Audubon Center for Birds of Prey. I've also owned many exotic pets like turtles, fish and birds. My passion for animals has caused me to pursue a degree in environmental sciences and biology from the University of Central Florida. I live on a growing homestead that requires me to check in daily on my animals and pets. As long as I can check in on my farm we should be able to continue your normal pet care routine. As the pet-mom of a Pomeranian with liver issues, I understand how important a consistent diet is for our pets and I promise to continue your dog's usual regimen. I will take your dog on potty breaks/walks as often as you request as I strive to keep to your dogs normal routine. I will send texts/pictures/emails/updates of your pets on request. I will respect your household and will leave everything as you left it. I will check mail, water plants, and care for other kinds of pets (cats, fish, exotics, small pets) at your request. About: I worked as a kennel technician at a boarding/daycare facility for over a year so I have seen firsthand how stressful those environments can be despite how social you think your dog might be with others. Dogs have always been one of my special interests since I was very little, I have plenty of experience taking care of senior dogs and puppies, and I am comfortable taking care of any breed/temperament. I have no problem if you spam me for pictures of your pup and I love sending constant updates and pics! I know how stressful it can be not to have your dog in your own care so no request is too small. I am a full-time college student studying environment and zoology, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! I have full class schedule throughout the week and it changes per semester, don’t let that stop you from reaching out! I will take a look at any request and see if I can make them work. The more specific you are the better. If I have even the tiniest question I will not hesitate to reach out, I want your dog to be as close to there typical environment/schedule as possible so they are comfortable. Saftey is the big priority for me when caring for your pup, your dog will never be put in an unsafe situation by me. I am comfortable with emergency aid if necessary and I have transportation if your dog needs to be taken to a veterinarian.
