Rachel has been so great with our anxious dog Jax! Rachel obviously loves dogs and knows how to care for a dog that is anxious/nervous. I feel totally comfortable leaving Jax with her! She checked in with me during Jax’s daycare to let me know he was settling in and provided other details.

Debora was absolutely amazing! She sent photos and little updates to let me know that Bourbon was doing great throughout the day. Bourbon had such a great time he passed out when he got home. I would 100% recommend Debora and her beautiful home to anyone looking for a little help with their fur baby.

About: I provide a true home-away-from-home experience. I intentionally keep the number of boarding dogs small so every guest receives personalized attention, plenty of playtime, and lots of affection. Dogs stay in a safe, family environment instead of a crowded boarding facility, and I treat every dog like one of my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your best friend, so I provide daily photo updates and make sure every dog feels comfortable, loved, and cared for throughout their stay. I am currently in nursing school and have a pretty flexible schedule. Thankfully, a lot of my schooling is done from home with the exception of in person clinicals, but your furry friend will always have someone here with them! Rather than caring for large groups of dogs, I host only one family’s dogs at a time. This creates a calmer, safer environment and allows me to provide truly personalized care. Guests enjoy supervised play in a securely fenced yard, plenty of indoor time, and the same love and attention my own dogs receive. My goal is for you to relax on your trip knowing your best friend is safe, happy, and right at home.

Kathy is so sweet & very attentive with my dog. She's also great at communication, which I've found to be a rare occurrence on Rover. She cares for other dogs while keeping mine, but I would never know if she hadn't told me! She sends pics throughout the day & promptly updates time cards. She's so compassionate & truly cares for my fur baby's wellbeing. I highly recommend Kathy!

About: I always hear people talk about the love of their pet. I understand how that feels since I now have a fur baby of my own. I work from home for the most part; therefore, I have the ability to give your fur baby the attention and care that they deserve. Pet love is the purest form of love. I have a fenced in big back yard with plenty of room for your fur baby to run and play. I also have a cozy and clean indoor space where your baby can rest and feel at home.

About: Hi! I'm a dependable and caring animal lover who treats every pet like they're my own. I've had a few pups of my own over the years, including my precious baby, Marlowe, who has taught me so much about patience, training, and the unconditional love our pets give us. Whether it's a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I'm attentive to each pet's unique personality and routine, and I'm happy to follow any special instructions, including medications, feeding schedules, and exercise needs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member, and I would be honored to give them the same love, attention, and care l'd want for my own pets. I'm currently a stay-at-home wife, so I'm home most of the day and able to give your pet lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship. Dogs in our care are rarely left alone for more than 2-4 hours. Cur home is a cozy, pet-friendly single-family home with a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. We have a 2-bedroom, 1-bath home that's clean, comfortable, and designed with our own dog, Marlowe, in mind. Marlowe is an almost 2-year-old Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix who is incredibly friendly and loves meeting other dogs. We allow her on the furniture and bed because she's part of our family, but she usually chooses to sleep in her crate with the door open. We also take safety seriously by "Marlowe-proofing" areas of our home and limiting access to certain rooms when we're away. It's just my husband and me in the home, creating a calm, low-stress environment for visiting pets. While our neighborhood isn't ideal for long walks, we love taking dogs on walks in downtown areas for new sights, smells, and exercise. Whether your pup enjoys playtime in our fenced yard or relaxing indoors, they'll receive plenty of love, attention, and care while they're with us.

About: I’ve raised 2 dogs of my own since they were puppies and one is now a senior. I have received many compliments of being the best dog mom but I am also a very attentive and responsible pet sitter. I have taken care of cats and dogs alike and I truly love and care for them like they are my own. I have plenty of time to care for your pets during the day or evening. I am more of a morning person for sure but I am very flexible. I have a fenced in front and back yard which makes it easy to let dogs outside. I am also very active so walking or running is no problem.

About: I have spent my whole life around dogs. My dad was a dog trainer in Alaska so I was able to learn a lot from him over the years. Since then my family has had our own dog which sadly passed away a year ago after 12 sweet years together. We have dog sat for friends and family over the years as our home makes a great space for dog sitting, but have not professionally dog sat before until now. We work from home so your pup will rarely be on their own. We also have a fenced back yard so they can play outside safely! We have three daughters that love to play with dogs so they will keep them perfectly entertained. We enjoy family walks in our neighborhood that your pup would join us on! We currently have no other pets after our sweet dog passed away a year ago. We miss having a dog in our home but aren’t ready for a new permanent pup so Rover seemed like a wonderful idea for our family. Your dog will be treated as our own with our girls being able to play with your pup in our fenced back yard.

About: I’m Shardae, and caring for pets comes naturally to me. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else is a big decision, so I focus on being dependable, attentive, and communicative—just like I’d want for my own loved ones. I treat every pet as an individual, taking the time to learn their routines, personalities, and comfort levels. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or calm and cuddly, I meet them where they are. I’m patient, gentle, and very observant, which helps me notice changes in behavior and ensure your pet feels safe and secure. You can expect regular updates, photos, and quick responses while you’re away, so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. I take instructions seriously and respect your home, your schedule, and your pet’s needs. I work from home woth no noise restraints, mark as much as you need to. Constant care can be provided. With plenty of time for potty breaks and play. I keep a very orderly and neat home. Wild dogs are family. We refrain to have our dog on furniture and beds. Due to the hair other than that, my home is their home. There's also a small fence standard outside. Where they can enjoy air, sun and play time

About: Hi! I’m Kamoni, and I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I have a friendly dog named Hazel who loves other dogs, so your pup will always have a buddy to play with! I work part-time, so I’m home most days to give your dog plenty of attention, care, and love. I have a large fenced backyard for safe playtime, and dogs are welcome anywhere in my home—they’ll be treated like family. My routine revolves around making sure my dog is walked, fed, and given plenty of attention throughout the day. Feel free to message me about availability! I typically am available whenever you need!! I have a very friendly and energetic Husky in my home who loves staying active. We go on walks around the neighborhood about every 2 hours for potty breaks, as well as mental and physical stimulation. We also occasionally enjoy car rides to the dog park for extra fun and exercise. Since my yard is unfenced, I have a secure outdoor lead available. FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Landis

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Landis on Rover is $27.75 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 1,386 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Landis. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Landis commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,386 sitters in Landis, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
