About: •Please read before booking• -No uncrated pets unless I have sat your dog before and have had experience with them. This is to prevent injury or destruction of property. Crating only happens at night or when I’m not home (rare) otherwise they will roam. -Drop offs, pick ups, and meet ups will happen strictly outside the house unless agreed otherwise. Do not barge into my house please. -No unuttered males to prevent territorial marking, escape, etc. -Late fee will apply after 15min of no show past agreed time. I have experience with multiple dog breeds and sizes for over 8 years. I have done everything from dog sitting energetic dogs to relaxed dogs. A usual day involves: potty time, feed time, 30min settlement for food, then leisure time. After 2hrs of their food break they will go out potty and then again every two hours after that. I do have some experience training dogs (although not a professional) this engages them and allows for mental stimulation. I am home fulltime and can provide continuous care for your friend! Schedule is updated daily please shoot me a text if you need more details or require help. Schedule changes week to week so please send request and will talk to you about availability (specifically for drop-ins) not applicable to boarding/doggy care Fully fenced yard, big full front yard, lots of space inside as well in case bad weather doesn’t let them run around outside. I supervise when they’re outdoors/indoors. I prefer to crate if I am away to prevent injuries, if you’re dog isn’t crate trained please let me know.
“Sequoia always lives staying with Norma and her pups. Having the fenced in back yard where she can relax and play is so nice on these beautiful fall days. Hopefully, soon she will be spending a few nights with Norma and be totally pampered.”

“Great sitter. I felt very comfortable leaving my boy with Chantel. Both her and her boyfriend were very nice and definitely animal people. I got a really good vibe from them. Great communication which is so so sooo important to me. Romeo was excited to see her every morning. We now have a sitter every time we come back to WPB. Thank you Chantel!!”

“My dog loves going to stay with Ms Stacey! Drop offs and pick ups are easy, and he gets so excited - he always has a great time. Stacey is super responsive and always lets me know if there is something going on with my dog's behavior. We've also used Stacey for boarding and will definitely be doing so again.”

“Shay was everything we could have hoped for, she was caring, friendly, communicative and incredibly easy to work with. She took the time to introduce our two puppies to her dog in a thoughtful way that made the experience super easy. She sent tons of photos and videos of our guys playing with her dog and it made this somewhat stressful situation for us extremely easy. We were in town for an event and she made us going to it easy with how well she communicated before we booked and during their stay with her. I can not recommend her any higher.”

About: I’ve cared for pets of all kinds my entire life and truly treat every animal like my own. From playful pups to cuddly cats, I focus on creating a safe, loving, and stress free environment while you’re away. What sets me apart is my attention to detail, reliability, and the genuine bond I build with each pet, because they deserve more than just care, they deserve love. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I plan my day around visits, feedings, walks, and check ins, making sure each pet gets reliable, consistent care and attention. I’m flexible and organized, so I can adjust my schedule to meet each pet’s needs while keeping everything running smoothly. “I care for pets by following their normal routines as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress free. In a client’s or even in my own home, I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, clean spaces, and plenty of attention, playtime, or walks depending on their needs. I’m very respectful of each home and focus on giving pets consistent, loving care so they feel safe while their owners are away.
“Kevin’s communication before and during his care of our precious cargo was wonderful. Thank you so much, we are so blessed to have crossed paths with you and will undoubtedly see you again.”

About: Before bringing a dog into your family it is important to know how to take care of them. You need to provide love and affection and kindness. They are treated like family members. I enjoy playing with them in the backyard or in the house. Love to take them for walks if that is what is preferred. Keeps us both healthy. I love cuddling with them on the couch and petting them. They are such great company and love the loyalty they provide. I love all kinds of dogs they are smart and curious little guys. They must be taken to a vet to keep up with their shots and health. I don't like to feed them from the table and I always read articles on what is or what isn't good for them. I am home and I can be with your pet 24/7. I enjoy sitting and cuddling with the fur babies and sometimes my grandson who is 18 comes to visit he loves animals and just plays with them and will cuddle with them. I usually give the pet free range of the home and they usually love the freedom. I also allow them to watch tv dog shows. Lol
“We had a wonderful experience with Lyndsey watching our 10-week-old puppy. She attached daily pictures for us to see what our pup was up to and gave daily updates at pick-up of how her day had gone. Our pup was loved not only by Lyndsey but also her two young children and playful dog of her own. We brought the basics but Lyndsey had everything else to keep our puppy comfortable and busy. We would absolutely trust Lyndsey to watch our pup again.”

“Happy we found Lynann to care for our pooch. One less worry off my mind as I know Reesey is happy and well taken care of. Love the videos and pics. So much communication which eases any worries.”

About: Hi! I’m an animal lover with lots of hands-on experience. I work full time with one remote day and weekends free. During the week I’m happy to come to see your pup after work! I’ve raised my own Husky–Lab mix since he was just 3 months old (he’s now 2 and full of personality!). I also helped care for our family dog from puppyhood all the way to 8 years old, so I’m very comfortable with both energetic pups and older, slower-paced dogs. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Expect lots of updates, cute pics, and reliable care every time. What I offer: • Walks & drop-ins • Playtime + snuggles • Feedings • Attentive, loving care for all ages I work full time but am free weekends and after 5pm on weekdays! Reach out and I’ll make the schedule work with your pets needs. I will make sure they get some good miles in so they’ll be home waiting for you happy! I am comfortable with puppy’s all the way to grown doggy’s and kitty cats! We will go for walks around park and maybe a doggy park!

About: I have trained and groomed my dog since he was a puppy, and we all know how dramatic Shibas can be. I approach all animals with love and patience in order to gain their trust, no matter the situation. I am incredibly affectionate so your pet will never feel out of place during their stay with me! I’m currently home at all times with my pet and would love to invite yours into our warm and loving home. I am able to provide meticulous and attentive round the clock care to your pet if they require. I reside in a dog friendly apartment complex with multiple parks for them to release extra energy. My baby, Kylo, will gladly keep them company or leave them alone, depending on their needs. Much like myself, he is very attentive. I also have a porch and a hammock that Kylo and I enjoy during warmer weather. If needed, I can easily crate your pet
“Tigger was happy, healthy and exhausted when he came home. I felt very comfortable leaving him with Kelly. She is clearly experienced and cares greatly for the dogs. We will be back!”
“Kathy is so sweet & very attentive with my dog. She's also great at communication, which I've found to be a rare occurrence on Rover. She cares for other dogs while keeping mine, but I would never know if she hadn't told me! She sends pics throughout the day & promptly updates time cards. She's so compassionate & truly cares for my fur baby's wellbeing. I highly recommend Kathy!”

About: I've been an avid pet lover my whole life! I have taken care of cats and dogs for many years. I have taken care of senior animals with special medications in the past as well, as well as some training, and have even helped dogs in giving birth. I am currently a stay-at-home dog mom! I can meet any potty or feeding schedules. I can provide lots of love and care and give your baby as much love as they need. I have a fenced backyard with plenty of space for pups to play. I have two Australian Shepherds who love other dogs and are very friendly. I also have a cat who loves to play with dogs. Couch cuddles and playing ball are some of our favorites.
About: There’s just nothing as special as having a pet in your life. They are always so happy and so willing to comfort you when you need it. And they all have such wonderfully different and unique personalities! I love being there for animals because they’ve been there for me so often. I truly believe that it’s my duty to bring as much happiness into the world as possible! One of the first things to know about me as a sitter is that I’m available full time. That means that I’m happy to work around unorthodox or busy schedules! Since not everyone works regular hours, I’m all too happy to accommodate those of us that may need help at irregular hours. I’ll be able to do everything within my abilities to help you and your fur baby out! My experience with animals is plentiful! I have been a lifelong dog owner, and I am currently the proud parent of a Hound Mix we rescued last year and a cat and ferret. I’ve taken care of animals big and small, so I’m all too happy to look after pups of all stripes. I have also worked at a kennel facility in the past, and gained lots of great experience there as well. I worked primarily with dogs to make sure that they were fed, taken out, and played with regularly, which is perfect for me as a dog sitter! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your animal and your care expectations. No one knows your fur baby better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their animal tick! Finally, I just love meeting new animals! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I’m currently working part-time and have plenty of time to take care of your furry friends! Even if I’m working, I’m usually away for less than 6 hours at a time. And guess what? My spouse and I have opposite schedules, so one of us is usually home and takes care of the animals all the time! I have a big backyard for dogs to play in and a decently sized home to take in animals of all shapes and sizes! However they deem comfortable at your home is how they will be treated at mine, whether that means they get crated while you’re away or they’re not allowed on the couch, I respect your boundaries and rules you have for your animal.
“I booked Nickeyias for doggy daycare and she took amazing care of my Bintley. He felt completely comfortable with her and her family from the start, and she treated him like he was part of her family. When I picked him up, he was relaxed, happy, and clearly enjoyed his day. I already scheduled his next visit — highly recommend!”

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
