About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, including my 3-year-old Goldendoodle and 8-year-old Golden Retriever. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and giving both energetic and senior dogs the attention they need. I’m flexible and able to work around most schedules, including weekdays, weekends, and overnight stays with advance notice, and I’ll always communicate clearly to confirm timing before each booking. When your pet is with me, you can expect consistent care, attention, and safety, including walks, playtime, feeding, and water checks exactly as instructed, along with a calm and patient approach for all dog personalities and energy levels. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing, and I treat every dog like family. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority at all times. I provide a calm, secure, and supervised environment where dogs are never left unattended during care, and I always follow owner instructions carefully for feeding, walks, and routines. I’m attentive to each dog’s behavior and needs to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable, whether they’re energetic or more laid-back. I also keep a clean environment and make sure pets are always in a safe space during visits or stays.

I had a great experience with LeNai. She was thorough during the intake, giving me a full tour and taking the time to get to know my dogs and their individual quirks. Rocko can be an anxious dog, but she took it in stride and was very patient with him. She gradually introduced him to other dogs safely and calmly, and was able to pick up on behavioral cues very well. She sent many photos and videos throughout the day to let me know they were doing well. I will most definitely use her services again.

My pup spent the day with Leslie and her family, and she came home happy and exhausted, which is a great thing. I love receiving little videos or photos of how Gabbi is doing, it helps when I can see her in the environment. Thanks for a great visit, Leslie!

Kate was amazing! She was able to get us in last minute and my dog absolutely loved her (she sent pics of the puppy kisses). My dog came home happy (Kate even brought her home!) And tired from all her adventures. I was so nervous to leave my pupper with someone new, but Kate sent lots of pictures and my dog was clearly comfortable with her! Will absolutely use her again!

About: Hey everyone! I am a huge animal lover. I have always had a dog in my home whether it be a family dog or my personal dog. Currently, I have two big, high energy dogs of my own a golden retriever and a husky! I love animals and understand needing to feel like your pet is safe and loved while you’re away! I will treat your furry friends just as I would my own 🩵 I am currently on summer break for work and have open availability for scheduling! Doggy daycare is now available me for the summer to book! I have a fenced in yard and two friendly, high energy dogs as well as a one year old son who loves dogs. My dogs are good with other dogs and children as well. They enjoy playing and running around together! I also have a large crate available for us if your animal is used to being crated. We do walk and lots of play time outside in our backyard.

About: Before bringing a dog into your family it is important to know how to take care of them. You need to provide love and affection and kindness. They are treated like family members. I enjoy playing with them in the backyard or in the house. Love to take them for walks if that is what is preferred. Keeps us both healthy. I love cuddling with them on the couch and petting them. They are such great company and love the loyalty they provide. I love all kinds of dogs they are smart and curious little guys. They must be taken to a vet to keep up with their shots and health. I don't like to feed them from the table and I always read articles on what is or what isn't good for them. I am home and I can be with your pet 24/7. I enjoy sitting and cuddling with the fur babies and sometimes my grandson who is 18 comes to visit he loves animals and just plays with them and will cuddle with them. I usually give the pet free range of the home and they usually love the freedom. I also allow them to watch tv dog shows. Lol

About: I have lifelong experience with dogs, caring for both my own and others’ pets since childhood. My experience includes providing attentive care to elderly dogs, particularly during my time with my aging corgi. While I love dogs of all ages, I understand the unique needs of senior dogs and am committed to ensuring their comfort and well-being. Unfortunately, we cannot accept pit bulls or Staffordshire terriers. I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to tailor my schedule to your dog’s needs and level of activity. I can provide exceptional care for your pet because I will be home all day during the work week. I am especially good at following your instructions. I have been been taking a walk every day for years and would love to take your dog with me.

About: I’ve had animals my entire life! I would love to take care of your baby’s for you and treat them like my own! I have taken care of dogs & cats at every age and other animals. I don’t have a full-time job right now, so I have time to take care of animals when people need my help when they can’t. I’ve treated every animal as if they were my child. I would do the same whether yours is at my house or I stop in and check on them at yours. I always say I would hate someone forever if they ever let my cat out the door..so you can trust me with your animal!

About: I am retired, have trained and shown dogs for over fifty years, live in a condo with one sheltie and one cat. I like to sit ONE dog at a time so it can have special one on one attention. Special arrangements can be made with two dogs that are from the same family. My floors are tile and I sterilize them between visits. I do NOT have a fenced yard but we have a 20 x 80 fenced dog run right outside my back door and we walk every two to three hours and once during the night. Since I am retired, I can be with your dog 24/7 with small exceptions. The dogs are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. I do insist that dogs be house trained and crate trained since we feed in crates or crate them if I have to be away. If you want personal care and attention for your dog, we would love to supply that service. We do NOT do meet and greets. We find that those brief encounters simply put stress on my dogs and yours. I take about an hour when a dog has arrived to acclimate him safely and comfortably. I only care for small dogs, under 30 pounds, and no puppies. Since I am retired, my schedule is pretty much staying around the house. There are no children and things are pretty quiet most of the time. I booked Nickeyias for doggy daycare and she took amazing care of my Bintley. He felt completely comfortable with her and her family from the start, and she treated him like he was part of her family. When I picked him up, he was relaxed, happy, and clearly enjoyed his day. I already scheduled his next visit — highly recommend!

Sequoia always lives staying with Norma and her pups. Having the fenced in back yard where she can relax and play is so nice on these beautiful fall days. Hopefully, soon she will be spending a few nights with Norma and be totally pampered.

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. I currently own a large dog and am responsible for all aspects of his daily care, including feeding, walking, basic training, grooming, and monitoring his health and behavior. I’m comfortable handling strong, high-energy dogs as well as calmer or more sensitive ones. I have experience managing leash pulling, reinforcing basic commands, and creating a calm, safe environment both indoors and outdoors. I always prioritize safety, routine, and positive reinforcement. I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs, body language, and comfort level, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m reliable, patient, and proactive when it comes to communication and care. I'm currently working from home. So I have plenty of time to play with your dog. I'm available for boarding and day care on weekends and weekday. I have yard and a friendly Bernese Mountain Dog to keep your fur baby company. I will keep the floor clean so that the dogs have enough space to play.

We have been using Elizabeth & Kevin for about a year now. We moved here temporarily while our house is being built & I’m so sad that we’ll be too far away to use their services when we move. They have been a godsend! We have used both their daycare & boarding services & I feel extremely comfortable with both. They are super sweet & treat my baby as if he’s their own. Ryder is super attached to us so I always feel so bad leaving him but it helps so much to know that he’s well taken care of loved on while we’re away. They always send tons of photos & videos so I’m always assured he’s having a great time. I can’t thank Elizabeth & Kevin enough for the peace of mind they provide to us. They are THE BEST!!!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Midland commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,565 sitters in Midland, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
