We have a 2-bedroom, 1-bath home that's clean, comfortable, and designed with our own dog, Marlowe, in mind. Marlowe is an almost 2-year-old Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix who is incredibly friendly and loves meeting other dogs. We allow her on the furniture and bed because she's part of our family, but she usually chooses to sleep in her crate with the door open. We also take safety seriously by "Marlowe-proofing" areas of our home and limiting access to certain rooms when we're away. It's just my husband and me in the home, creating a calm, low-stress environment for visiting pets. While our neighborhood isn't ideal for long walks, we love taking dogs on walks in downtown areas for new sights, smells, and exercise. I do not have experience with birds or reptiles, so I am not the best choice for those sessions. I have a German Sheppard Husky named Ashed. I’ve been dog sitting for friends, family, and neighbors since elementary school and have been caring for pets through Rover since high school. I also have volunteer experience with animal shelters and am comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I currently have a very flexible schedule while studying for my North Carolina real estate license, so I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays on YOUR schedule. I recently graduated and am focused on studying for my real estate exam right now, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m more than happy to accommodate to your dog’s regular routine. About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life, primarily large dogs up until end of life, as well as cats in the last 6 years. I’ve got extensive experience with these guys, and my love for these animals runs deep! I’m currently self-employed, so my schedule is very flexible for visiting or playing with your pets! The best times to schedule me are between 8am and 8pm, but I am open to other hours with planning in advance. :) I have a screened in yard, as well as 2 crates for small dogs and cats, comfy beds, and toys for them to play with! About: I love animals!!! Did I say I love them!!! I have 3 pups!! I have a 3.5 year old Lab( Layla) and 1.5 year old Lab/pointer mix) and a soon to be 15 year old Morkie. I love them so much! This is why I decided to care for other pets this Summer. While you are away I’ll love them and take VERY good care of your sweet babies. So until middle of August I will have a lot of free time to help you care for your furbabies while you are away. They will be WELL taken care of while you are away. I prefer to care for your dog in your home. But if it’s a dog that gets a long with others I may entertain the ideas of bringing them to our home. We have a HUGE fenced in back yards. We have 3.25 acres but only have about an acre fenced. Our dogs love playing outside. Most of my spare time is spent throwing frisbee or throwing the ball. My 2 big dogs love it. They could do it for hours if I would. Lol!!

Marlowe is an almost 2-year-old Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix who is incredibly friendly and loves meeting other dogs. We allow her on the furniture and bed because she's part of our family, but she usually chooses to sleep in her crate with the door open. We also take safety seriously by "Marlowe-proofing" areas of our home and limiting access to certain rooms when we're away. It's just my husband and me in the home, creating a calm, low-stress environment for visiting pets. While our neighborhood isn't ideal for long walks, we love taking dogs on walks in downtown areas for new sights, smells, and exercise.
