About: I am retired, have trained and shown dogs for over fifty years, live in a condo with one sheltie and one cat. I like to sit ONE dog at a time so it can have special one on one attention. Special arrangements can be made with two dogs that are from the same family. My floors are tile and I sterilize them between visits. I do NOT have a fenced yard but we have a 20 x 80 fenced dog run right outside my back door and we walk every two to three hours and once during the night. Since I am retired, I can be with your dog 24/7 with small exceptions. The dogs are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. I do insist that dogs be house trained and crate trained since we feed in crates or crate them if I have to be away. If you want personal care and attention for your dog, we would love to supply that service. We do NOT do meet and greets. We find that those brief encounters simply put stress on my dogs and yours. I take about an hour when a dog has arrived to acclimate him safely and comfortably. I only care for small dogs, under 30 pounds, and no puppies. Since I am retired, my schedule is pretty much staying around the house. There are no children and things are pretty quiet most of the time. Dogs truly feel like family to me, and I treat every pet I care for with the same love and attention I would give my own. I currently have a very flexible schedule while studying for my North Carolina real estate license, so I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays on YOUR schedule. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away! I recently graduated and am focused on studying for my real estate exam right now, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m more than happy to accommodate to your dog’s regular routine. I will not be able to bring dogs into my residence but will gladly take care of your pets in the comfort of their own home and outdoor spaces.
About: The services I offer are dog walks and check ins. I am currently 26 years old and graduated from UNCC in May of 2022. I have always loved animals ever since I was a little girl. I started caring for family and friends animals when I was 12 years old and will often help out friends and family when they need me to. What sets me apart from other sitters and walkers is that I will take the time to love and care for your animal like it was my own. I always try to go above and beyond whatever my task is. I hope to one day be able to care and love your animal as if you were there. I work full time during the week but I am free all day during the weekends. I would be able to provide walks and daily care for your pet. I have two cats and one dog who are very loving to all humans and animals . I want your pet to feel comfortable while you are away.

They were diligent about giving her medications and providing me updates. They took extra care to make sure she could spend some time playing outside in the morning before it got too hot. They went above and beyond to not only ensure she was comfortable, but to also make sure she had fun. She looked genuinely happy in the photo updates Kayla sent, which gave me peace of mind. She can be a bit introverted but even seemed to make friends with the other dogs. In the future, I will be sure to book way in advance so Nova can stay with Kayla and Michael and their family.
