I do not have experience with birds or reptiles, so I am not the best choice for those sessions. I have a German Sheppard Husky named Ashed. About: Growing up my Grandparents were AKC German shepherd and Cocker spaniel breeders. I've been helping groom, care for and raise dogs since I learned not to eat the dog food lol. I worked at an animal hospital for a few years as a receptionist and enjoyed shadowing in all areas of the hospital including the boarding facility. I have experience with reactive dogs and am fairly good at reading body language. I say fairly good because all dogs have their own cues that can be more or less noticeable than others. I am proficient at giving medicine when needed whether injection, pills, or liquid as well. I have two children whom I homeschool and may occasionally need to bring them with me. They are well behaved and know to never mess with someone's things and how to interact with animals and respect their space and take their lead if they are playing with them. About: I grew up with having a dog around the house, so I have always loved being around pets. The last two summers I have pet sat for families while they were on vacation. Some of the dogs I have taken care of have had medical needs, so I am able to give dogs medication if needed. I have taken care of big and small dogs. For house sitting services, I am happy to provide overnight care for your pet. There will be times I will leave the home to run errands, go to work, family time and etc. But I will make sure that your pet’s routine is kept in tact and that they get all the snuggles and love they need. I am a full time teacher so once the school year starts my availability will change. I will not be able to provide pet care in my home. But I can provide pet care in a clients home. I am able to provide walks, feed your pet, provide snuggles, and medication if needed. I will ensure the client home stays clean if I am booked for overnight pet care. If it is too hot outside I may limit the time for the walk. I will also bring a water bottle with a bowl to make sure your dog does not overheat.
