I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing, and I treat every dog like family. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority at all times. I provide a calm, secure, and supervised environment where dogs are never left unattended during care, and I always follow owner instructions carefully for feeding, walks, and routines. I’m attentive to each dog’s behavior and needs to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable, whether they’re energetic or more laid-back. I also keep a clean environment and make sure pets are always in a safe space during visits or stays.

About: I grew up with having a dog around the house, so I have always loved being around pets. The last two summers I have pet sat for families while they were on vacation. Some of the dogs I have taken care of have had medical needs, so I am able to give dogs medication if needed. I have taken care of big and small dogs. I look forward to working and taking care of your pet! During the summer I have more availability outside of when I am on vacation. For house sitting services, I am happy to provide overnight care for your pet. There will be times I will leave the home to run errands, go to work, family time and etc. But I will make sure that your pet’s routine is kept in tact and that they get all the snuggles and love they need. I am a full time teacher so once the school year starts my availability will change. I will not be able to provide pet care in my home. But I can provide pet care in a clients home. I am able to provide walks, feed your pet, provide snuggles, and medication if needed. I will ensure the client home stays clean if I am booked for overnight pet care. If it is too hot outside I may limit the time for the walk. I will also bring a water bottle with a bowl to make sure your dog does not overheat.

“This is the second time we've had Karena petsit for our 3 smaller dogs ranging in age from 3 to 10 and we were just as happy this time as before. She sends daily updates even if the pups aren't doing anything different than the day before. She would still send us cute pics of them snuggling into their beds or chilling with her on the couch. She's responsive and picks up / cleans up after herself so the house is as tidy as when we left. Highly recommend!!!”

About: I’m a certified Physician Assistant and lifelong animal lover, and I’m excited to spend some extra time caring for your pets while I try to secure my first job as a PA! I’ve grown up around animals my entire life. My family had a cat who we brought home when I was 2 years old and who was part of my family until I was in college. We also had a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and during college I had a Siamese kitten that I shared with my roommates. More recently, I’ve enjoyed dog sitting (& house sitting) with my sister’s Golden Retriever and my best friend’s dog frequently while I was in school. Right now, I have very open availability and would love the opportunity to care for your pets while getting a change of scenery and relocating my workspace! I currently plan to provide care in my clients’ homes rather than boarding pets in my own home. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and any specific instructions you provide regarding feeding, medications, walks, exercise, and crate use. I’m attentive to keeping pets safe and comfortable, and I’ll make sure doors, gates, and other potential escape routes are secure. I’ll also treat your home with care and respect while you’re away.
