“Jeffery is absolutely terrific!! We have utilized his services for 2 years now. He has not only cared for our pet, but has also been our house sitter during our trips. We have found him to be a trustworthy and honest person who provides much love and attention to our fur baby. Our pet is a family member whom we love dearly and had a tough life prior to adopting us as his new family. Due to that, we were very concerned with finding someone who would provide the same type of love and attention as he receives from us. I am very happy to say that Jeffery has provided all of that to our pet and can ensure that he will do the same for your pet. I can't thank him enough for helping us to enjoy our time away, by caring for our pet in a way that allows to relax, knowing that he is in good hands.”

“We were visiting Damascus VA to bike the VA Creeper Trail and needed someone to stay in our camper with our dog because he has some separation issues. She was there on time, he immediately went to her. She was friendly and caring. When we returned three hours later, he was happy, wagging and tired. She relieved our minds so we could do what we planned and know our pup was in good hands. Highly recommend.”

“Sydney Dina fantastic job taking care of or dog Nelly. She kept us updated with photos while she cared for her. I would recommend Sydney to anyone looking for a quality person to take care of your pet.”

“Breana did a great job house sitting for our animals. The animals were well taken care of and she left our house neater than she found it. I also really appreciated the daily updates and photos she sent.”

“Vanessa took care of our Dexter, all day on a Saturday ,while we were out of town for the day. She followed our instructions , took him out frequently, gave him his dinner and water, and made sure he had company so he wouldn't be anxious. He was happy when we got home :) I would definitely call Vanessa again!”

“Veronica did a fantastic job watching my two dogs. She sent videos and pictures and it was obvious my dogs love her! She also kept the house clean and brought in our mail. I will definitely be using her again to pet sit!”

“Louise is amazing! She is the first sitter we used after adopting our very energetic puppy, and she did such an incredible job keeping her happy and safe while making sure our other dog and cat were as well. We’d absolutely trust her to watch our babies again.”

A was attentive sent several pictures and provided updates, and the pups seemed very happy in her company. McKenna was the first river sitter. We've had to walk the dogs every day while I was out of town! I came home to stress free puppyloves, and a house that was well takeng care of, which was so greatly appreciated! I would absolutely recommend Makena and hope to re-book with her again soon!”

“Philip and Mallory are very friendly and easy to talk to, and took excellent care of my pup at my house. I got so many pictures and updates and I never had to worry my pup wasn’t being taken care of. My house was also in perfect condition when I returned, and they even washed the used bed sheets and towels. I will definitely use them in the future and you should too!”

“Sarah is the absolute best! She was extremely communicative and gave me the sweetest updates. My pup has a lot of energy & can be a little anxious when I’m gone but Sarah treated him like her own and even took him on lots of adventures. I think he might of even been a little sad when I returned, LOL. Her level of care & passion while watching my pup is truly priceless. Highly recommend her!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a little girl. I have experience bathing them, feeding them and walking them. I enjoy going for walks around the community so this would not be a problem. I have two children ages 8 and 9 and they would enjoy spending time with your dog(s). I was a teacher by training but now work from home and am flexible. I am originally from Boston, MA and relocated to Charlotte, NC in 2018. I live in the Pineville area and although I would have no problem meeting you in your home, it would be better to meet me instead. I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s) or cat(s). I currently work from from home so walking your dog every 3-4 hours is feasible with my schedule. I look forward to meeting your fury friend! I can also provide basic grooming such as a bath or brushing if needed for an additional fee. I look forward to caring for your fur baby!
About: I have always been an animal lover, and a vegetarian because of that since I was 10 years old. While I do not have any pets of my own at this time, due to my job, I always get so excited and happy when I see and can be around animals of all kinds. I have been to cat cafes, several farms to pet the animals, and only attend zoos/wildlife sanctuaries that take in animals that have been injured and/or can’t survive in their natural habitat anymore. I’m a flight attendant who works 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. When I’m off, I’m home for the full 2 weeks and will have plenty of time to pet sit for those days. While I do not have any pets of my own due to my job, I thrive in being around animals and pets of all kinds. I treat animals like my own and put as much care into their needs as I would my own pet.
About: I have raised our 5 cats with my mom for the last 5 years, including my sweet boy who needed round the clock care for the first few years. Along with all our kitty's, I also dog sit my mom's 2 English bulldogs who are more sas and drool than dog. No matter the shape or size of your furry family member(s) I would love to care for them! I currently am in the process of getting my associates degree but that doesn't stop me from giving all the love and care to all my furry friends whenever the time comes! I have reliable transportation for whenever you need an extra set of hands to care for your pet(s)! Having many pets myself I'm certain I can give the care they need, or if they need special attention or steps I'm more than willing to go the extra mile to keep your furry friend happy and healthy!
“Jackie was great with the pups & was able to help out in a pinch for Christmas! We look forward to future stays and appreciate the awesome photos while we were gone! Merry Christmas!”

About: Hi *waves*! My name is Rachel and I look forward to being your dog’s new bestie! I am a former middle school English teacher 👩🏻🏫 and have a special place in my heart for our fur kiddos. I currently am in grad school full time— with a very flexible schedule and am willing to work around what your pups needs are. As a former teacher I have experience with problem solving, patience, connecting with others and developing rapport with children- which extends to fur-kiddo(s)! I also have experience in taking care of special needs pets because I, myself had a very very special pup named Louie (age 17); I know the demands that may come with one and I will proudly treat your fur pets the same as I do mine. I will make a promise to you that no matter what, I will treat your fur kid(s) with the same love, care and attention as I do my own. I will love them as they are my own. I am an 8th grade English teacher, but I can thankfully say that it is now summer and my availability is wide open. My schedule is very open and I am flexible and can work with you. I have 2 chihuahuas: Manny (12), and Dolly Pea Parton (1.5 years), and Calvin Klein (5) a dachshund-lab mix. My “kids” are my world and very well loved and spoilt! I spend most of my time, when I am not working; taking them on walks, playing with my puppy, whilst making sure my “grouchy- old man” is happy as well. 🐶 I previously had a senior dog, Louie, who has crossed the rainbow bridge; he was blind & deaf, therefore I have experience with dogs that need a little extra attention & love.💜
“Victory was great! Our pups loved her. She sent photos and updates daily. Everything was left neat and tidy. If you need a very personable and caring sitter call Victory!”

About: I think what sets me apart is that I genuinely love being around animals — not just watching them, but really connecting with them. Since I have pets of my own, I understand their moods, their little personalities, and how important routines are. I’m very patient, especially with shy pets, puppies who are still learning, or senior pets who need a slower pace and extra care. I pay attention to details, whether it’s feeding schedules, small behavior changes, or giving medication if needed. I also make sure pets feel calm and safe in my home — lots of love, playtime, and cuddles if they enjoy that. I treat them like family, not like a job. 🐾💛 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already care for my own pets every day. Feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable is just part of my normal life. I plan my schedule so I have enough time and energy to give each pet attention, not just the basics. Whether it’s morning walks, evening cuddles, or sticking to a specific routine, I make sure they feel consistent care throughout the day. Taking care of animals isn’t something extra for me — it’s something I truly enjoy and already do every day. 🐾💛 I live in a clean, calm apartment where pets can feel safe and relaxed. I make sure they have a comfortable space to rest, fresh water at all times, and I follow their regular feeding schedule closely. Since I’m in an apartment, I take dogs out for regular walks and potty breaks throughout the day to make sure they get exercise and fresh air. I also provide playtime, attention, and quiet time depending on their personality and energy level. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow their instructions carefully — keeping routines consistent so the pet feels comfortable and secure. My goal is always to make pets feel loved, safe, and stress-free while their owner is away.
