About: The services I offer are dog walks and check ins. I am currently 26 years old and graduated from UNCC in May of 2022. I have always loved animals ever since I was a little girl. I started caring for family and friends animals when I was 12 years old and will often help out friends and family when they need me to. What sets me apart from other sitters and walkers is that I will take the time to love and care for your animal like it was my own. I always try to go above and beyond whatever my task is. I hope to one day be able to care and love your animal as if you were there. I work full time during the week but I am free all day during the weekends. I would be able to provide walks and daily care for your pet. I have two cats and one dog who are very loving to all humans and animals . I want your pet to feel comfortable while you are away.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager and now have two dogs and one cat. Along with taking care of my common pets, I have chicken-sat and helped take care of our family friends’ horses. I love animals and love getting to help families out by keeping their peace of mind while they are away. I am currently working part-time on a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of wiggle room to make sure your pet is well taken care of. Pet care is a top priority so I can help connect with families to help them function in the pace that they are running. With top-notch care, I have a natural instinct to know when an animal is acting differently. I am experienced in giving animals medicine and specific dosages as well.

About: I am an absolute pet lover. I will give your four legged family all the love and affection that they could possibly want. I own a German Shephard, lab, and possible husky mix. Unfortunately he does not play well with others, so I am able to handle more difficult dogs. I am comfortable with all breeds and size of dogs along with any cats as well. I enjoy spending time with animals and have an absolute love for them. I am willing to do whatever is needed to make sure your pet is comfortable and taken care of. If your pet has any special needs I can take the time to learn anything that may help with making your family comfortable. I hope you'll consider me for your pet cares. I work a full time job Monday-Friday 8A-5P. So during the evenings and on weekends, I will always have you covered so you do not need to worry about your pets while you're away. I will follow all your set instructions on how your pets routine works. Play time, walking, and spending the need time with them to make sure they are loved.

Rachel was great with my dog Chance (60 lb Husky/ lab mix). I recently visited the Charlotte area and brought Chance with me. I was very nervous as I had not used Rover before and we were far from home. Rachel texted the day before to confirm, which put my mind at ease. Chance loved Rachel immediately. She was kind, loving and patient with Chance. She had excellent control over him on his walks and made his safety top priority. She was a strong communicator who gave us updates and pictures. If I ever return to Charlotte and need a dog walker or sitter, I would definitely rebook Rachel. I highly recommend her! 5 ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ from me and Chance!!!

Angela was a lifesaver when my husband and I both became ill and unable to walk our pampered pup. Angela tested when en route, was always on time, exceeded the contracted time for walks, and uncomplaining walked our dog, rain or shine. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

About: Come stay with friends and enjoy a fenced in back yard with lots of birds to chase! Your pup will go home tired after a stay with our family. Walks, runs, a swim in the pool, or just a romp in the yard with fellow four-legged friends. 2 kids, 2 adults, 2 dogs who love to play. We are an active family who also enjoys a good Sunday afternoon nap. With alternating schedules, your pup won't be left alone for long. Why I love dog sitting I've had a dog since I went to college. My first girl lived to be 17 and was with me through thick and thin. Since then I've had 3 boys (one passed away with Cancer at 5 y/o, and another passed at 10 1/2). Now we have the 1 big boy, and a spunky (somewhat bossy) little girl. Meet my pets We have 2 dogs: a 1 y/o 75lb Bernedoodle and a 10 y/o 15lb Poodle/Rat Terrier Mix. We have 1 teenager at home, and one in college, who LOVE dogs and often help out with our visitors. About my yard We have good size back yard that is completely fenced in. Plenty of room to run around freely and there is always someone willing to play fetch! We also have an in ground swimming pool. Dogs are welcome to swim when the weather is warm (supervised of course). Visitors are treated like part of the family. They will stay indoors with plenty of chances to go outside. We try to keep guests on a similar schedule to what they would be doing at their own house. Visitors are treated like part of the family. They will stay indoors with plenty of chances to go outside. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. From a variety of small to big dogs. My friends and family rely on me to keep them during vacation and for some play time when they like to have a break. My weekly pet care routine is fun because I mix responsibility with play. I keep feeding and grooming on a consistent schedule, but I add variety with walks in different places, new toys, and short training games. It helps my pet stay happy and keeps the routine from feeling repetitive. I make sure everything is cleaned and organized so my furry baby is not getting into mess. I keep the doors closed when not in the room. Everything is puppy proofed.

About: I've grown up with animals all my life. Im comfortable with anything, from cats to all sizes of dogs. My family currently owns six dogs and six cats, ranging from elderly to special needs, so I'm definitely up-to-date on my skills! I've worked as a veterinary technician assistant for a emergency veterinary clinic so I'm comfortable with administering medications including under the skin injections and pills. Depending on the temperament of dog (or cat!) I'm more than willing to provide a pedicure during my stay! I also aim to provide check-in's and walks in addition to overnight care. I'm disabled and unable to work a normal 9-5, but your pet will recieve top quality care and plenty of attention. That being said, my schedule is very flexible. For most if not all jobs I'm available seven days a week with Thursdays and Sundays being my most tricky. Mid-mornings to early afternoons normally work better for me for check-ins and walks. I'm disabled and unable to work a normal 9-5 job, but I can guarantee top quality care. Whether it's hanging out at home or getting a pup cup, I'll be sure to update you regularly. Any rules or boundaries will be respected during long stays and I will pick up after both myself and your pet.

About: I started Midday Route after noticing how many pets spend long days alone while their owners work, travel, manage home projects, work from home, or simply try to keep up with busy life. I also understand how stressful it can feel to trust someone with both your pets and your home, especially for owners who prefer keeping their pets comfortable in a familiar environment instead of boarding. My approach is centered around keeping pets calm, comfortable, and connected to the routines they already know. Some pets want play and companionship, while others simply want consistency, patience, and a calm presence that respects their personality and comfort level. I pay close attention to the little things pet owners notice immediately, including routines, feeding, litter box care, potty breaks, comfort changes, behavior, and communication while you’re away. My goal is simple: help pets feel safe and help owners feel less stressed while life gets busy. Midday Route is also insured for additional peace of mind while caring for your pets and home. Midday Route is designed around helping busy pet owners with dependable care throughout the week, including weekends when scheduled in advance. I currently focus on midday visits, companionship visits, potty breaks, and travel care that help dogs stay comfortable in their normal routine while their owners work, travel, or manage busy schedules. Clear communication, consistency, and reliability are very important to me, especially when schedules shift or travel plans change. Once visits are scheduled, I make every effort to provide dependable timing, thoughtful care, and regular updates so owners feel comfortable and informed while they’re away. I care for pets in a calm, attentive, and respectful way that prioritizes their comfort, safety, and normal routine while owners are away. During visits, I pay close attention to behavior changes, energy levels, hydration, feeding, potty breaks, and overall comfort. After walks or outdoor time, I make sure pets settle back in comfortably, have access to fresh water, and are checked over if we’ve been through wooded areas, trails, or messy weather. If requested by pet parents, I can also help with simple grooming-related care such as brushing or pet-safe freshening sprays after visits. During travel care visits, I make sure pets have food, water, exercise, attention, and the overall care they need to stay comfortable in their familiar environment while their owners are away. I also always carry extra treats and poop bags so owners do not have to worry about small essentials during walks or visits. I believe communication is extremely important, especially when caring for pets in someone else’s home. I provide updates after every visit so owners know how their pet is doing, and if anything ever seems unusual or raises concern, I communicate promptly. If a pet has specific needs, routines, or preferences, I always prefer to discuss them directly with the owner beforehand so expectations, comfort, and care are clear for everyone involved.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
