“We have recently moved from out of state, and no longer had a right person to take care of our babies. We have an adult German Shepherd and a Thai Ridgeback, and would never consider placing them in a kennel. Consequently, we were not able to go away for any vacations or getaways for over a year – that is until we found Chelsey thru Rover. I have no words to express the appreciation we have for an absolutely perfect service – dog/house sitting. She is the best we ever had, and that is coming from someone who has a lot of experience in this. Chelsey has a very pleasant personality, a true dog lover, very compassionate and extremely knowledgeable with our overly spoiled babies. Not only that she took great care of them, but kept in constant touch with us via texts, and multiple daily pictures and videos. I dare say they had better time with her than with us, making their daddy just a little bit jealous. Although happy to finally see us, they were very upset she was leaving. Upon our return, we found our house exactly the same as when we left. You’d expect some hair from shedding, but no, Chelsey even vacuumed things up to keep everything perfect. I don’t know how it could be any better. It is so good to have found her, and we are already planning another vacation in couple of months. Thanks Chelsey (and thanks Rover)!!!”

About: I have had a deep passion for animals my entire life. My mom worked in a veterinary ER clinic in my home state of South Carolina and would bring me to work to help take care of the patients and boarders on weekends through my high school years. My aunt is a dog trainer who I also shadowed. I have fostered several dogs through their adoption process, from a puppy chihuahua to a senior Great Dane. I’m comfortable with giving medications, post operative care, and much more. Neighbors, friends, and family have all entrusted me with the care of their dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and even fish (they need to eat while their people are away too!). I have taken some time away from Rover for a few years while working on my career, and moved across country to be closer to family, along with starting my own. We now have settled in Rowan County, NC and I am looking to help out fellow pet parents again! I would be available to come by on any day of the week from the times of 7-11am, 1-3pm and 6-9pm. I am pretty open during the day, these are time frames that I would be available for walks, drop in visits, feedings, etc. If other / additional times are needed we can chat and probably make it work. I keep all doors to outside closed and locked while in the home so no escapes are possible. The collar will be fitted properly and each walk will be leashed.

About: I’m able to handle any type of dog No dog reactivate dogs please I have trained three service dogs one who is still in training I’m an all breed loving person Pits and bully breeds are my favorite I have a 1 year and 9 month old husky mix A 3 month old Great Pyrenees I can feed what ever you need me to from wet food to raw diet I will care for puppies to senior dogs Any breed is welcomed Must be dog friendly I can come to you I can also provide some basic training I’m available any time I do have a 5 month old so I do have work around him but I’m always available when you need me We living in the country on a little bit of land. No fence yet but plenty of room to run and I have long Line leashes for the dogs to play with some freedom I do a crate and rotate system with client dogs and my personal dogs with tons of play time and outdoor time as well as one on one time with me and the dog

About: I have friends who go out of town and rely on me to watch their precious members of their family with care, love, respect,and patience. I set up a routine that is approved by you so that you know when your best friend gets a visit from me! I am very flexible when you need a sitter, a walker, or someone who just drops by to check on things when you are at work or out-of-town, so you don’t have to worry about needing someone right away. I care for your pets as if they are my own. Even though I have a fenced-in backyard, dogs need fresh locations! I treat animals with respect and give treats! I give food and water based on the schedule I provide to you, or however you need it, while giving love and attention in between. Who else wouldn't want to be greeted at the door with a wagging tail or a face full of kisses everyday!?

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little and raised 3 rescues on my own and volunteered with a rescue for many years. My own rescue dogs have had severe anxiety from previous abuse so I have experience with dogs that need a little extra love and patience! I work full time but am available evenings and weekends! My schedule can sometimes be flexible so we will figure out what works together as needed! I am very particular about my fur babies so I would take care of yours exactly as you request, maybe just with some extra pets, snuggles and love!
