About: I have taken care of so many animals in my life. I’ve always rescued animals and we have kept them. When I got married, my mom took them and now I have one sweet cat Storey! All animals have my heart! I have dog / cat sit multiple times. I just recently left my full-time job as a infant teacher. I am six months pregnant and just needed a little stress removed from my life so I am available at all times! I will follow and respect all rules that they have. I am a rule follower! I care for pets would love just like I would a human honestly!

About: I love dogs and have enjoyed working with them in many capacities since I was a child and formally for over 15 years. I am a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and have spent years training loving companions. I am certified in Canine CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross and undergo annual recertifications to stay current on the latest first-aid procedures. I also have experience administering both oral medications and injections. Before your pups stay, we have each family fill out a form for their furry companion. This helps us get to know them better in order to make their stay easier. I have no breed preference and are familiar with handling working canines.  Your pup is welcome in our home, and our couch is open to your furry pooch.  However, I also understand there are dogs who prefer to be outside and are not easily accommodated indoors. I also have covered outdoor runs for those families who still need a vacation but whose pups enjoy more fresh air and natural surroundings. I am happy to accommodate each family's preference. No matter what, canines are treated to lots of exercise and playtime. I wake up and start the day off with morning let out. After each group has been let we come back in for feeding. Morning feedings normally allow for 30-45 minutes before letting out again for a potty break. They are brought back in, crated, and pups are rotated out for play inside throughout the day. I let out every 2-4 hours through the day or more if needed. I do have the option to add on trail walks for those who have social canines who are good with other dogs and people (I will not be introducing them to others but it is a requirement to the trail). In the evening we normally do the last feeding at 7 pm followed by yard play and starting to settle in. Last potty break is at 10 pm. Note: Although I am at home full time I do on occasion leave our home to run errands. Your dog can be left alone for up to 4 hours (max). If this is ever the case your pup will always be crated and secure. For your pup's safety They are never given free rein while unsupervised. I take the safety of your furry companion very seriously. Canines are let out for potty breaks every 2-4 hours (or as needed, if required more frequently). I have a fenced-in yard so your pup will be safe during potty breaks. I do not allow companions from other families to play with each other. This is a safety measure. Your pup can be under a lot of stress when you're gone and I want to make their stay as smooth and relaxing as possible. This doesn't mean I will not be playing with your pup ourselves! I love playing fetch, puzzle games, and even tug with them. I do allow for several outings in the house throughout the day so they can get plenty of one-on-one attention inside as well as extra pets. I have 5 acres that are attached to the national preserve. If your furry companion is social and enjoys walks, I have several trails I am happy to take them on upon request (weather permitting). All outings are on leash only.

About: I grew up in a household with dogs. I have taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 19. I specialize in smaller breed dogs and have worked with Senior dogs. I take the time to get to know them and for them to get to know me. I want them to feel comfortable and safe. I am currently working part time from home. So, I will have plenty of time to play with your pups, spoil them and love on them. Will host your fur baby in my home Monday through Friday with drop off between 7-8am. with pick up as late at 5:30pm. I have a large fenced in yard with almost a half-acre of space. I have four fur babies of my own looking for some new friends. They are very friendly; one is a senior dog he sleeps most of the time. Play time both inside and outside. When inside dogs are allowed to roam anywhere in the house with the exception of the bedrooms. I keep a very clean, tidy home that is free from harsh chemicals. All products used in my home are not only safe for humans but for pets too. Outside is kept up as well. mowing once a week in the summer. dog waste clean-up several times per week. Dogs have full access to all areas outdoors in the fenced in yard and will never be left unattended while outside. During the summer we have a few splash pads that the dogs use to stay cool. And no matter the time of year water is always plentiful. All of my pups are fully vaccinated and update with shots & flea and tick medication.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager and now have two dogs and one cat. Along with taking care of my common pets, I have chicken-sat and helped take care of our family friends’ horses. I love animals and love getting to help families out by keeping their peace of mind while they are away. I am currently working part-time on a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of wiggle room to make sure your pet is well taken care of. Pet care is a top priority so I can help connect with families to help them function in the pace that they are running. With top-notch care, I have a natural instinct to know when an animal is acting differently. I am experienced in giving animals medicine and specific dosages as well.

About: I have friends who go out of town and rely on me to watch their precious members of their family with care, love, respect,and patience. I set up a routine that is approved by you so that you know when your best friend gets a visit from me! I am very flexible when you need a sitter, a walker, or someone who just drops by to check on things when you are at work or out-of-town, so you don’t have to worry about needing someone right away. I care for your pets as if they are my own. Even though I have a fenced-in backyard, dogs need fresh locations! I treat animals with respect and give treats! I give food and water based on the schedule I provide to you, or however you need it, while giving love and attention in between. Who else wouldn't want to be greeted at the door with a wagging tail or a face full of kisses everyday!?

About: I worked as a kennel technician at a boarding/daycare facility for over a year so I have seen firsthand how stressful those environments can be despite how social you think your dog might be with others. Dogs have always been one of my special interests since I was very little, I have plenty of experience taking care of senior dogs and puppies, and I am comfortable taking care of any breed/temperament. I have no problem if you spam me for pictures of your pup and I love sending constant updates and pics! I know how stressful it can be not to have your dog in your own care so no request is too small. I am a full-time college student studying environment and zoology, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! I have full class schedule throughout the week and it changes per semester, don’t let that stop you from reaching out! I will take a look at any request and see if I can make them work. The more specific you are the better. If I have even the tiniest question I will not hesitate to reach out, I want your dog to be as close to there typical environment/schedule as possible so they are comfortable. Saftey is the big priority for me when caring for your pup, your dog will never be put in an unsafe situation by me. I am comfortable with emergency aid if necessary and I have transportation if your dog needs to be taken to a veterinarian.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. From a variety of small to big dogs. My friends and family rely on me to keep them during vacation and for some play time when they like to have a break. My weekly pet care routine is fun because I mix responsibility with play. I keep feeding and grooming on a consistent schedule, but I add variety with walks in different places, new toys, and short training games. It helps my pet stay happy and keeps the routine from feeling repetitive. I make sure everything is cleaned and organized so my furry baby is not getting into mess. I keep the doors closed when not in the room. Everything is puppy proofed.

About: The services I offer are dog walks and check ins. I am currently 26 years old and graduated from UNCC in May of 2022. I have always loved animals ever since I was a little girl. I started caring for family and friends animals when I was 12 years old and will often help out friends and family when they need me to. What sets me apart from other sitters and walkers is that I will take the time to love and care for your animal like it was my own. I always try to go above and beyond whatever my task is. About: I have taken care of all kinds big, small, senior and puppies. I use to rescue animals all the time. I love helping all animals in need. I have a little farm of pets I take care of. I have dog, cats, chickens and ducks. I am currently taken care of my dad at home because he is in bad health. I am available weekdays and weekends from 8am to 6pm I will be able to drop by your home to feed, water, give medication, and play with your pet. I will care for any pet breed but must be friendly.

About: I have had a deep passion for animals my entire life. My mom worked in a veterinary ER clinic in my home state of South Carolina and would bring me to work to help take care of the patients and boarders on weekends through my high school years. My aunt is a dog trainer who I also shadowed. I have fostered several dogs through their adoption process, from a puppy chihuahua to a senior Great Dane. I’m comfortable with giving medications, post operative care, and much more. Neighbors, friends, and family have all entrusted me with the care of their dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and even fish (they need to eat while their people are away too!). I have taken some time away from Rover for a few years while working on my career, and moved across country to be closer to family, along with starting my own. We now have settled in Rowan County, NC and I am looking to help out fellow pet parents again! I would be available to come by on any day of the week from the times of 7-11am, 1-3pm and 6-9pm. I am pretty open during the day, these are time frames that I would be available for walks, drop in visits, feedings, etc. If other / additional times are needed we can chat and probably make it work. I keep all doors to outside closed and locked while in the home so no escapes are possible. The collar will be fitted properly and each walk will be leashed.
