6. Joan G.
About: I’ve had a Basset hound and a Weimaraner over 15 years. I’ve owned 4 extremely well behaved, adjusted, and playful cats for over 20 years. I am available anytime Monday through Friday and Sunday night. I would rather try dog walking and sitting before I start boarding your fur baby. I love cats - they’re so curiously entertaining ! I can bathe dogs, play an excellent round of fetch, and give them lots of love a attention. Cats: play toys, scratchpads, shoestrings, balls w bells, and brushing, when they prefer. I’ve got lots of dog toys- balls, chew bones, frisbees squeaky toys. I gave away my dog harnesses, but still have my retractable leash. If they like going out on the town, I love going to pet smart to just look around and pick out a toy. They have pup cups at Pelicans- if their sugar is under control, and then go to dog park, or just playing and keeping him company in the home. I’m very good at attending to both dogs & cats. I do not spank ( with my hand or an object, like a newspaper) or hit animals, nor use a water sprayer to punish animals if they’ve done something bag/ wrong. I use redirection and a stern tone and shake my finger at them. They usually respond well to that. Then when I see them doing the right thing I reward them with enthusiastic positive talk. For bigger issues, I always have treats in my pocket, using instant gratification.
7. Chris K.
“I have known Chris for over ten years, and his house has always been filled with numerous well-loved pets. He takes great care of them and I would trust him with any animal!”
8. Lauren M.
“I enthusiastically recommend Lauren as a sitter for your furry friend. Lauren has been around - and taken care of - dogs all her life and has helped raised two pups who are now happy, healthy, thriving adult dogs, one of which is my 9-year old golden lab. She is truly compassionate, gentle, playful and very loving with all animals, and has experience caring for cats, dogs and horses. If you want someone who will make your pet feel welcome, loved, and safe; and who has the experience and competence to make their well-being her highest priority, then give Lauren a call.”
9. Bonita T.
“Activities throughout the walk were sent, my boy appeared really happy.”
10. Ava S.
“Ava has for years, from a young age, offered her pet sitting services to family, friends, and neighbors. (Mostly free - contributions only) She is an exceptionally smart young adult, who has always had a great love for all animals (domestic and wild). Pets can sense that naturally! She is also very responsible, and treats all pets with the utmost care and love as if they were her own. I would certainly trust her with taking care of my pets. She has also been raised up in a rural, farm like environment, with her family always having horses, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, or fish. She has experience with a wide range of animals. She recently rescued another kitten from the shelter. (Yes, she has a heart of gold!) Ava=dog sitter=Yes, definitely ❤️”
