About: I have taken care of family and family friend's dogs before. I can tailor my check-ins or stay to your dog's needs and personality. One dog I have taken care of did need tracking and administering of oral medication in pill form morning and night. I also taught my grandparents dog a couple tricks as a puppy. No guarantees for you, but I can try my best. I just graduated from college, so I am free at almost any daylight hours, depending on your needs and wants for walks and check-ins. For in-house sitting, I am free most days, including weekends. I will do a walk-through of the house with you before in-house sits or check-ins. I will record any expectations for medications, potty breaks, and exercise. When you are gone, I will make sure to follow the list and be sure that all trash can lids are locked, no food is on the counters, and safety gates and crates are secured.

“Alyssa did such a wonderful job and my dogs loved her! She sent lots of pictures, took them on nice long walks, and gave them pets and refilled their water bowls. I felt so happy knowing they were safe and well taken care of with her.”

About: I love dogs and have enjoyed working with them in many capacities since I was a child and formally for over 15 years. I am a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and have spent years training loving companions. I am certified in Canine CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross and undergo annual recertifications to stay current on the latest first-aid procedures. I also have experience administering both oral medications and injections. Before your pups stay, we have each family fill out a form for their furry companion. This helps us get to know them better in order to make their stay easier. I have no breed preference and are familiar with handling working canines. Your pup is welcome in our home, and our couch is open to your furry pooch. However, I also understand there are dogs who prefer to be outside and are not easily accommodated indoors. I also have covered outdoor runs for those families who still need a vacation but whose pups enjoy more fresh air and natural surroundings. I am happy to accommodate each family's preference. No matter what, canines are treated to lots of exercise and playtime. I wake up and start the day off with morning let out. After each group has been let we come back in for feeding. Morning feedings normally allow for 30-45 minutes before letting out again for a potty break. They are brought back in, crated, and pups are rotated out for play inside throughout the day. I let out every 2-4 hours through the day or more if needed. I do have the option to add on trail walks for those who have social canines who are good with other dogs and people (I will not be introducing them to others but it is a requirement to the trail). In the evening we normally do the last feeding at 7 pm followed by yard play and starting to settle in. Last potty break is at 10 pm. Note: Although I am at home full time I do on occasion leave our home to run errands. Your dog can be left alone for up to 4 hours (max). If this is ever the case your pup will always be crated and secure. For your pup's safety They are never given free rein while unsupervised. I take the safety of your furry companion very seriously. Canines are let out for potty breaks every 2-4 hours (or as needed, if required more frequently). I have a fenced-in yard so your pup will be safe during potty breaks. I do not allow companions from other families to play with each other. This is a safety measure. Your pup can be under a lot of stress when you're gone and I want to make their stay as smooth and relaxing as possible. This doesn't mean I will not be playing with your pup ourselves! I love playing fetch, puzzle games, and even tug with them. I do allow for several outings in the house throughout the day so they can get plenty of one-on-one attention inside as well as extra pets. I have 5 acres that are attached to the national preserve. If your furry companion is social and enjoys walks, I have several trails I am happy to take them on upon request (weather permitting). All outings are on leash only.

“Emily was such a great help! We needed someone to walk our dog while we were away for a wedding and our pup Lou was happy and healthy when we returned. This was our first time working with Emily, but she coordinated a meet and greet earlier in the week to meet us and get the details for taking care of Lou. We will definitely use Emily again in the future!”

About: My name is David, however I go by Dak. I am very much a dog person, much more so than a people person! My most recent experience in animal care was at Harbor Point Animal Hospital (5.5yrs) I was a Fear Free ELITE certified veterinary assistant, specializing in animals who needed a little extra care or attention. I spent a lot of time studying animal behavior and ways to alleviate stress and anxiety so I am well equipped if you pet has some anxiety. I am also well versed in medication admin, fluids, and elderly pet care/vital monitoring. Studies show that even a short 10 min relief from a boring day while you are at work, reduces the stress, anxiety, and the possibility for behavioral/destructive outbursts. I cant wait to take time to get to know you furry family member(s) and help them get some attention they need while you are working hard to provide, or need an extra hand during a busy week! I am currently working from home while my daughter is out of school. My day is very flexible so I can work around your pets needs! I care for your pets in your home the same way I care for mine in my home. First by observing and understanding their surroundings like fenced in yards, baby gates, kennels, etc.. all the things intended to keep your loved one safe. Second, I make sure I understand any special needs that your pet has whether it is a behavioral issue related to fear or anxiety, or your pet is elderly and needs a little extra help or monitoring. 3rd and finally with the same amount of respect i show my own. our pets are our family and I will always treat them as such.

About: My family has owned dogs since long before I came along. And thus, I've taken care of everything from chihuahuas to goldens and working line german shepherds. I started caring for them myself when I was about five and haven't stopped since. I've raised multiple litters of puppies, assisted in dog training, given both injections and oral medicine daily, and am capable of caring for anything from new born puppies to elderly dogs. ITS SUMMER BAYBEEE!! Classes are finally out so chances are i'll be free to spend time with your lovely critters while you're out of town!! I can't do boarding at my house due to already having five pups that might not get along with yours, but I can do any kind of care needed at your place! I can play and keep them near like I do with my dogs, I can feed, give medicine, clean up after them, crate them, whatever's necessary! Just tell me how you want it done!

About: I have had a love for all animals since before I can remember. I’ve taken excellent care of my own pets as well as the pets of all my friends and family. I’m the go-to pet sitter! I’m currently just doing part time pet care, but I will accommodate as needed. Just let me know what time schedule you need your babies taken care of! I can ensure you I will treat your pets as my own to guarantee your pet’s safety whenever I’m with them! Whether it’s on a leash or in a fenced in yard, I will do my best to keep them safe at all times.

“Great pictures & communication!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 14, and with seven years of experience, I understand the importance of providing loving, reliable care. As a graduate with a degree in veterinary health science (pre-vet), I bring both experience and knowledge to pet sitting. My background in veterinary health science means I can provide attentive care for pets of all ages, including puppies and seniors. I have experience administering medications, monitoring for health concerns, and ensuring pets stay happy and comfortable. Whether it’s a playful pup or a senior pet needing extra attention, I provide compassionate and knowledgeable care. I am going back to school in the fall for one to two classes a day. Other than that, I will have the time any dog needs to be fed, walked, or loved throughout the day. In my client’s home, I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their usual routine. I ensure they have fresh food and water, plenty of exercise, and enrichment through playtime and companionship. If needed, I can administer medications and monitor for any health concerns. I also keep the home clean and secure while caring for the pet, creating a stress-free experience for both the pet and their owner. My goal is to provide attentive, reliable care so pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away.

About: As an exotic feline zookeeper taking care of animals has been my whole life the past few years so I understand the importance of the daily care and enrichment that goes into keeping an animal happy and healthy. I worked with exotic cats for two years focusing on husbandry, behavioral enrichment training and veterinary care but prior to starting my career as a zookeeper I worked as a Kennel Leader at a dog boarding facility and daycare. I have experience with animals of all sizes and temperaments which comes with a lot of experience in analyzing and recognizing animal behaviors. I recently have stepped away from zoo keeping but I still have many pets of my own so I can understand the stress that goes into entrusting your companion with another person, but I can ensure you that I will do everything I can to make sure your pet gets the love they deserve! I’m currently a remote employee so I am very flexible with my schedule and willing to work with what works best for your pet. I have some pets of my own that require daily care but they are usually not conflicting with any commitments. When coming to take care of your pet I make sure to respect all instructions including dietary requirements and training you may do as part of your daily routine. I also make sure that they get plenty of attention and affection in addition to their necessities so their mental health is just as good as their physical health!

“Testimonial for Audrey: I cannot recommend Audrey highly enough! She recently watched my senior dog, Sandy, and did an absolutely fantastic job. From the moment we met, it was clear she truly loves and understands animals. Sandy loves being with people, and they bonded right away, which gave me immediate peace of mind given that he is getting up there in age. Throughout the time I was away, Audrey kept me updated with messages ,which was such a thoughtful touch. It was clear my dog was not only well cared for but genuinely happy and relaxed. If you’re looking for someone responsible, kind, and truly trustworthy to take care of your pet, look no further than Audrey. Sincerely, Nancy C.”
