About: I got my first dog at 15 and have never gone without pets since. I have service dogs and I’m comfortable with working breeds and the training that is associated. I also have a cat, several reptiles, and some misfits critters. There’s really not much I won’t be able to handle given enough information concerning your pet. I’m also a former medic and have plenty knowledge for special needs animals and identifying emergencies. Pet care is the start and end of my day, a lot of my schedule revolves around my mini-zoo. I’m a part time worker with full control over my schedule which allows me to focus deeply on my animal’s needs. I care about my pets as if they are family. Their activity levels, training, affection, diet, and rest are an every day concern. Others pets would be seen the same way and given the same level of care. I have plenty alternative means of caring depending on the pet personality as well, I.e. kennels, separate or same rooms, special walks and even some training thrown around in.

Over the years I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets—including turtles, raccoons, cats, hamsters, mice, dogs, horses, goats, and chickens—each teaching me something new about patience, trust, and compassion. About: Since birth grew up with a family dog, German Shepherds, a Lab, and at 10 years old I was given responsibility for my own dog a Maltese, Le Petite Pookay( Pookie for short). When I went off to college my Mom stole(inside joke) adopted her and I haven’t had my own dog since but over the course of the past 20 years Ive watched plenty of friends and family dogs and pets. Some claim me to be the Dog Whisperer as even shy pups seem to gravitate towards me. This last year, while transitioning to the Charlotte. NC area I stayed with a Rover host and helped out. And now that Im in my own place, a two story townhouse, I’d love to continue to host and care for your fur babies. I really miss having a furry family member around but truly excited for the opportunity to take care of your animal loved one. I do know about providing excellent customer service, the importance of integrity and working hard with the importance of humility. Service is the heart of who I am and know the special bond our family furries hold in our lives. I can't wait and hope to care for your furry loved one soon! I work from home, so my availability to host is flexible and open. I also, don’t leave the house too often for long periods and will be attentive to caring for your pet. My first floor level is open for your fur baby to free roam, but can also crate if preferred. I have a few areas with tile for easy cleaning. In addition, I have a backyard with some enclosure but have a tie down to attach to collar or harness for first and last pet relief but my subdivision has a dog walk trail for walks and extended exercise.

About: I have spent my whole life around dogs. My dad was a dog trainer in Alaska so I was able to learn a lot from him over the years. Since then my family has had our own dog which sadly passed away a year ago after 12 sweet years together. We have dog sat for friends and family over the years as our home makes a great space for dog sitting, but have not professionally dog sat before until now. We work from home so your pup will rarely be on their own. We also have a fenced back yard so they can play outside safely! I’m comfortable caring for animals of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets who need a little extra patience and attention. About: I love dogs and have enjoyed working with them in many capacities since I was a child and formally for over 15 years. I am a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and have spent years training loving companions. I am certified in Canine CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross and undergo annual recertifications to stay current on the latest first-aid procedures. I also have experience administering both oral medications and injections. Before your pups stay, we have each family fill out a form for their furry companion. This helps us get to know them better in order to make their stay easier. I have no breed preference and are familiar with handling working canines. Your pup is welcome in our home, and our couch is open to your furry pooch. However, I also understand there are dogs who prefer to be outside and are not easily accommodated indoors. I also have covered outdoor runs for those families who still need a vacation but whose pups enjoy more fresh air and natural surroundings. I am happy to accommodate each family's preference. No matter what, canines are treated to lots of exercise and playtime. I wake up and start the day off with morning let out. After each group has been let we come back in for feeding. Morning feedings normally allow for 30-45 minutes before letting out again for a potty break. They are brought back in, crated, and pups are rotated out for play inside throughout the day. I let out every 2-4 hours through the day or more if needed. I do have the option to add on trail walks for those who have social canines who are good with other dogs and people (I will not be introducing them to others but it is a requirement to the trail). In the evening we normally do the last feeding at 7 pm followed by yard play and starting to settle in. Last potty break is at 10 pm. Note: Although I am at home full time I do on occasion leave our home to run errands. Your dog can be left alone for up to 4 hours (max). If this is ever the case your pup will always be crated and secure. For your pup's safety They are never given free rein while unsupervised. I take the safety of your furry companion very seriously. Canines are let out for potty breaks every 2-4 hours (or as needed, if required more frequently). I have a fenced-in yard so your pup will be safe during potty breaks. I do not allow companions from other families to play with each other. This is a safety measure. Your pup can be under a lot of stress when you're gone and I want to make their stay as smooth and relaxing as possible. This doesn't mean I will not be playing with your pup ourselves! I love playing fetch, puzzle games, and even tug with them. I do allow for several outings in the house throughout the day so they can get plenty of one-on-one attention inside as well as extra pets. I have 5 acres that are attached to the national preserve. If your furry companion is social and enjoys walks, I have several trails I am happy to take them on upon request (weather permitting). All outings are on leash only.

About: I grew up on a farm and would always help my parents take care of our horses, llamas, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, donkeys, peacocks, and ducks since I was a little girl. I helped raise many babys and senior animals. I’m currently in online college for a Veterinary Technician program degree and a front Desk Assistant General Manager who works Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm, Saturday 7am-2pm and I am always off Sunday. I am able to change my hours depending on your pups needs. A week notice in advance would be amazing if possible but I understand things come up or just planned last minute no worries. I am here to help and willing to work around your schedule and what’s best for your fur babies. I have a huge back yard for your fur baby to play and have fun outside. I am active outside and love playing catch or going on walks/run around my neighborhood. I do have one cat who loves going outside on her leash. I also have a shop dog who loves to be active and play in the water. I always have cat and dog food laying out and multiple water bowls around the house. I do allow my fur babies on the couch and bed.

About: I've been volunteering at animal shelters for almost two years and currently volunteer regularly at the Humane Society of Concord. Through my time there, I've worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I help with walking, enrichment, basic care, and making sure each dog feels comfortable and gets the attention they deserve. I don't have any pets of my own right now, but I've always loved animals, especially dogs. That's a big part of why I spend so much of my free time working/volunteering at the shelter. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I graduated from Wingate University and hope to continue building a career working with animals. Volunteering has taught me how to be patient, read canine body language, and adapt to each dog's needs. Whether your dog is full of energy and loves long walks or prefers a slower pace and extra patience, I'll make sure they get the care, attention, and exercise they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, therefore I plan to care for them as if they were my own! :) I currently work for 9-1 pm. I’m available most weekdays after 2 pm. I have a flexible schedule for pet care, and would be available as needed for my clients. Although I'm new to providing pet care through Rover, I'm not new to caring for dogs. I've gained hands-on experience volunteering at animal shelters, where I've worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I understand the importance of being patient, paying attention to each dog's needs, and helping them feel safe and comfortable. When caring for your pet, I'll follow your instructions closely, whether that's feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, or just spending time keeping them company. I'll also send updates and photos so you can feel confident knowing your pet is being well cared for while you're away. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care and treat every pet like they're my own.

About: I got my first dog at 15 and have never gone without pets since. I have service dogs and I’m comfortable with working breeds and the training that is associated. I also have a cat, several reptiles, and some misfits critters. There’s really not much I won’t be able to handle given enough information concerning your pet. I’m also a former medic and have plenty knowledge for special needs animals and identifying emergencies. Pet care is the start and end of my day, a lot of my schedule revolves around my mini-zoo. I’m a part time worker with full control over my schedule which allows me to focus deeply on my animal’s needs. I care about my pets as if they are family. Their activity levels, training, affection, diet, and rest are an every day concern. Others pets would be seen the same way and given the same level of care. I have plenty alternative means of caring depending on the pet personality as well, I.e. kennels, separate or same rooms, special walks and even some training thrown around in.
