1. Sarah S.
About: Hello! My name is Sarah. I’m a consumer lending professional that works remotely most of the year. I have been in the same industry for over a decade and have done pet/home sitting for the last 5 years. I travel quite frequently and have done many pet/house sits while visiting different states. Boise, Idaho is home base for me for a few months out of the year, otherwise I am typically in the south. I thoroughly enjoy being entrusted to watch over others pets and homes while they are away. I have experience with various dog breeds and temperaments, cats, turtles, and the occasional farm animal. I have experience with larger breeds, and enjoy daily walks/runs! I do not currently have any pets, with my traveling lifestyle, it just isn’t plausible. I hope to again eventually but right now I really enjoy being able to care for other’s animals. My schedule is very open with the nature of my work. I am able to adapt to just about any schedule while I’m not traveling. I treat a client's home and animals with respect and cater to the needs that they are accustomed to. I am attentive and understanding of varying needs of the client and their pets.
2. Catherine G.
About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals all my life. Growing up riding horses, I was always at the farm taking care of dogs, horses, cats, and other small animals. I work from home, so I love to go for a walk or take care of a pet to get away a little bit. I have always had a huge heart for animals and can’t wait to care for yours! I’m a huge animal lover and you can expect that I will love on your fur baby like they are my own. I love to go for walks, will make sure they have fresh water and are fed, and that I don’t leave without giving them a treat!

5. Amanda B.
“Amanda goes above and beyond with every walk! My dog is crazy so getting photos of him is tough. She brought her real camera along to snag a picture for me in sport mode. Cannot recommend her enough!”
6. Ruth H.
“Ruth has owned and cared for almost every critter, from hamsters to horses. Her ability to form a unique bond with every animal along with her knowledge of animal behavior and her compassionate nature makes her the perfect companion to your pet. She has owned and loved many breeds of dogs, helped whelp puppies, trained foals, owned her own dairy cow( and hand-milked her), and rescued a stray cat with kittens. We always feel confident to leave our animals in her care. I highly recommend her for all your pet sitter needs.”

“Victoria is great! She walked my big Labrador twice a day after I broke my arm. He is not an easy dog to walk sometimes but they got along so well. My boy loved her and was so excited to see her car pull up the drive so he could go on his walk with his new friend. She was on time, communicated well, and was flexible when my schedule shifted a bit. I will absolutely hire her again and recommend her to anyone who needs a little extra dog help!”

About: I have had pets my whole life and am capable of performing daily tasks in order to take care of them. I also have experience overnight sitting for a variety of different dogs receiving special food care and activity. I am currently a student and Lacrosse player at Catawba College and I am home for the summer. I work part time but have plenty of time throughout my day to take care of pets. I can walk, play with, and entertain your pets. I can let them outside to use the bathroom and make sure they have sufficient food and water during the day.
16. Joan G.
About: I’ve had a Basset hound and a Weimaraner over 15 years. I’ve owned 4 extremely well behaved, adjusted, and playful cats for over 20 years. I am available anytime Monday through Friday and Sunday night. I would rather try dog walking and sitting before I start boarding your fur baby. I can bathe dogs, play an excellent round of fetch, and give them lots of love a attention. Cats: play toys, scratchpads, shoestrings, balls w bells, and brushing, when they prefer. I’ve got lots of dog toys- balls, chew bones, frisbees squeaky toys. I gave away my dog harnesses, but still have my retractable leash. If they like going out on the town, I love going to pet smart to just look around and pick out a toy. They have pup cups at Pelicans- if their sugar is under control, and then go to dog park, or just playing and keeping him company in the home. I’m very good at attending to both dogs & cats. I do not spank ( with my hand or an object, like a newspaper) or hit animals, nor use a water sprayer to punish animals if they’ve done something bag/ wrong. I use redirection and a stern tone and shake my finger at them. They usually respond well to that. Then when I see them doing the right thing I reward them with enthusiastic positive talk. For bigger issues, I always have treats in my pocket, using instant gratification.
17. Danielle F.
“Great pictures & communication!”
18. Sofia F.
“Sofia is amazing with animals! I have seen a lot of interactions with dogs and cats in my life but Sofia has a way with animals that cannot be explained. It is almost as if animals know her even though it is the first time they will have met. She is able to make relationships with dogs and cats almost instantly as they immediately develop trust in her. I would leave my pets in Sofia's hands at any time as I know they will be cared for to a level that not even I can provide. Sofia is undoubtedly the most gifted animal caregiver that I have ever met.”
19. Hali R.
About: I enjoy meeting new dogs! I would love to dog sit and/or walk your dog on the weekends for now. I am a full time teacher and I will update my calendar for availability :) I work a full time job, but I enjoy dog sitting when I can on the weekends. Contact me for weekend availability for drop in visits and dog walking. I do ask questions about the clients dogs before dog sitting for them. I do that mainly for the dogs safety so I am aware of how they are around other people/dogs.
