Dog Walking Richfield

About: I love dogs and have enjoyed working with them in many capacities since I was a child and formally for over 15 years. I am a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and have spent years training loving companions. I am certified in Canine CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross and undergo annual recertifications to stay current on the latest first-aid procedures. I also have experience administering both oral medications and injections. Before your pups stay, we have each family fill out a form for their furry companion. This helps us get to know them better in order to make their stay easier. I have no breed preference and are familiar with handling working canines.  Your pup is welcome in our home, and our couch is open to your furry pooch.  However, I also understand there are dogs who prefer to be outside and are not easily accommodated indoors. I also have covered outdoor runs for those families who still need a vacation but whose pups enjoy more fresh air and natural surroundings. I am happy to accommodate each family's preference. No matter what, canines are treated to lots of exercise and playtime. I wake up and start the day off with morning let out. After each group has been let we come back in for feeding. Morning feedings normally allow for 30-45 minutes before letting out again for a potty break. They are brought back in, crated, and pups are rotated out for play inside throughout the day. I let out every 2-4 hours through the day or more if needed. I do have the option to add on trail walks for those who have social canines who are good with other dogs and people (I will not be introducing them to others but it is a requirement to the trail). In the evening we normally do the last feeding at 7 pm followed by yard play and starting to settle in. Last potty break is at 10 pm. Note: Although I am at home full time I do on occasion leave our home to run errands. Your dog can be left alone for up to 4 hours (max). If this is ever the case your pup will always be crated and secure. For your pup's safety They are never given free rein while unsupervised. I take the safety of your furry companion very seriously. Canines are let out for potty breaks every 2-4 hours (or as needed, if required more frequently). I have a fenced-in yard so your pup will be safe during potty breaks. I do not allow companions from other families to play with each other. This is a safety measure. Your pup can be under a lot of stress when you're gone and I want to make their stay as smooth and relaxing as possible. This doesn't mean I will not be playing with your pup ourselves! I love playing fetch, puzzle games, and even tug with them. I do allow for several outings in the house throughout the day so they can get plenty of one-on-one attention inside as well as extra pets. I have 5 acres that are attached to the national preserve. If your furry companion is social and enjoys walks, I have several trails I am happy to take them on upon request (weather permitting). All outings are on leash only.

About: My first job i worked in pet boarding! my job included feeding pets, cleaning up after them, making sure they’re safe, and of course playing with them! I’m working part time so i have plenty of time to spend with your pet’s! i am available to stay over whenever needed but on specific days i do work night shifts. I can take care of your pet’s however is needed in your home, i can follow exact instructions to ensure their routine stays similar

About: My experience for the last 7 years has been raising and training working search and rescue dogs. I also have a combined 10 years of volunteering and fostering with rescues and animal shelters. I especially love caring for senior dogs ensuring they are given their best years with the love and grace they deserve. As my jobs for the last 12 years have been working from home, I have time to also take care of your pets! My 3 dogs and 1 cat are my family and I understand the trust you need for me to take care of your family as well. If your dog is staying with me, they will enjoy 13 fenced-in acres with supervised exploration and playtime. When not outside playing, they will stay in my home with me. I also have heavy duty indestructible crates for those that need the extra help staying in their crate!

I have about 5 years of paid experience caring for pets and I have a cat of my own. :) I'm currently working from home and I have much free time during the day to make drop in visits or stay for a few hours/overnight as needed. You can ensure that your pets will be treated with the utmost care and looked after for as I would look after my own pets. :)

About: 15+ years of animal care experience. Mixed animal veterinary technician assistant for 2+ years. Ran a pet sitting business out of our home for 15+ years. I currently have 3 horses and 3 cats of my own but have loved many dogs and other animals in the past! Free during lunch hours Monday- Wed 12:30-2 and Tuesday-Thursday 1-3, afternoons during the week or weekends to take pups on walks and enjoy the outdoors! I will primarily be walking dogs as needed in the evenings or weekends. We are renting a house and unfortunately can’t have pets inside the home.

About: I do have some training in my pocket but definitely not a professional I’ve trained all of my dogs that I’ve had they did great I am available whenever I am needed on sundays I’ll be at church but after that I’m free I have my own car so I’m reliable I can care for pets in the clients home how ever they need me to I follow instructions very well and will do what I am needed to do or asked to do

About: My years of pet care experience range from animal rescue to boarding facilities to volunteer work to doc training and to hospital care so I have a wide range of pet care experience. I work in the animal field, and so it is a daily job for me not to mention taking care of my own personal animals My animals are my children, and I would treat others animals the same way. I believe in being respectful of people’s opinions and the ways that they take care of their animals.

About: I am an experienced zookeeper that has taken care of all types of animals. I have cats, dogs and rabbits. Experienced with young, old and reactive dogs. Can take care of all domestic pets. I am a full time zoo animal supervisor that has Friday and Saturdays off to look after your pets. I am available for nightly visits during the week. Let’s talk and see what days are needed and I would love to make them work. If you are in the Asheboro area I have afternoon/ evening availability to drop in Sun-Thur. Preferably Thomasville area Friday/ Saturday but can make most anywhere work! Just reach out. I can take care of your pet in your home from walking, to feeding to grooming. About: I have been pet owners for years & there’s nothing I love more than spending time with animals. I love to take walks to the dog park & have a good game of fetch. I also take pictures of pets that I taken care of before so let me know if that’s something you would like. I currently work from home so I spend all day with my pets. My job lets me be able to still take my dog on multiple walks a day, have play time, go to the park & more. The play area is fenced in, I can easily crate your dog if needed. In my home I can provide everything your pet needs like if it was their own home and vice versa.

About: I have been a cat and dog lover and pet parent throughout my adult life. When I lived in Washington, I worked full time at a dog daycare and overnight boarding ranch in Snohomish. I also have a lot of experience petsitting and housesitting for family and friends. A few years ago, I job-shadowed a full time in-home pet sitter. All in all, I really enjoy spending time with critters and I look forward to meeting you and your critters! I am comfortable handling/administering medications to pets. I love to walk and hike with my dog. I would love to take your dog along to explore the trails if you think that's something your dog would enjoy. I have a fully fenced, partially shaded back yard. I currently have a small dog and 5 cats that your dog would need to be compatible with.
