About: I started Midday Route after noticing how many pets spend long days alone while their owners work, travel, manage home projects, work from home, or simply try to keep up with busy life. I also understand how stressful it can feel to trust someone with both your pets and your home, especially for owners who prefer keeping their pets comfortable in a familiar environment instead of boarding. My approach is centered around keeping pets calm, comfortable, and connected to the routines they already know. Some pets want play and companionship, while others simply want consistency, patience, and a calm presence that respects their personality and comfort level. I pay close attention to the little things pet owners notice immediately, including routines, feeding, litter box care, potty breaks, comfort changes, behavior, and communication while you’re away. My goal is simple: help pets feel safe and help owners feel less stressed while life gets busy. Midday Route is also insured for additional peace of mind while caring for your pets and home. Midday Route is designed around helping busy pet owners with dependable care throughout the week, including weekends when scheduled in advance. I currently focus on midday visits, companionship visits, potty breaks, and travel care that help dogs stay comfortable in their normal routine while their owners work, travel, or manage busy schedules. Clear communication, consistency, and reliability are very important to me, especially when schedules shift or travel plans change. Once visits are scheduled, I make every effort to provide dependable timing, thoughtful care, and regular updates so owners feel comfortable and informed while they’re away. I care for pets in a calm, attentive, and respectful way that prioritizes their comfort, safety, and normal routine while owners are away. During visits, I pay close attention to behavior changes, energy levels, hydration, feeding, potty breaks, and overall comfort. After walks or outdoor time, I make sure pets settle back in comfortably, have access to fresh water, and are checked over if we’ve been through wooded areas, trails, or messy weather. If requested by pet parents, I can also help with simple grooming-related care such as brushing or pet-safe freshening sprays after visits. During travel care visits, I make sure pets have food, water, exercise, attention, and the overall care they need to stay comfortable in their familiar environment while their owners are away. I also always carry extra treats and poop bags so owners do not have to worry about small essentials during walks or visits. I believe communication is extremely important, especially when caring for pets in someone else’s home. I provide updates after every visit so owners know how their pet is doing, and if anything ever seems unusual or raises concern, I communicate promptly. If a pet has specific needs, routines, or preferences, I always prefer to discuss them directly with the owner beforehand so expectations, comfort, and care are clear for everyone involved.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, and currently have five! I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, so I’m happy to take care of all ages! I hope you let me watch your fur baby! I am currently home for the summer from college and work part-time at a dog boarding establishment! My schedule is pretty flexible and can do overnights. We can talk about if that works for you and your pup! When watching your fur baby I’ll take them on walks, play with toys, and make sure they have a great time while you’re away! I’ll make sure to follow any guidelines given and take the best care of them!

About: I’ve always had pets, and started volunteering with a vet at 14 and continued until I left for college. For a time I worked as a ranch hand taking care of 8+ horses and a menagerie of other animals. I am also a fully trained dog groomer and currently work as a veterinary assistant. I am comfortable with my canine friends of all shapes, sizes, and life stages, including those with special needs including medication administration. I currently work 4 days weekly in Mount Pleasant, NC from 7:30am - 5:30pm with a one hour break mid-day and weekends off. My schedule allows me to see your pet at least twice daily (or up to three times depending on distance from my place of employment). I take care to establish a personal relationship with every pet that I meet. Every dog, cat, or fish have their own distinct personality and the better I know them, the more personalized care I can provide. I can feed, water, clean up after pets, administer medication, walk, groom (for an extra fee), and even work on any set training that you would like kept up. My biggest priority is keeping you and your pet happy and healthy.

About: I lived in Florida before moving to Matthews. I walked an average of 3-4 dogs every day, for two years straight. I was referred to by owners, and was entrusted with house keys while the owner was away. I love taking dogs on walks, and am responsible with specific instructions that are given! I currently work full-time, but my boyfriend works from home. I can effectively board your dog(s) at any point during the week! I have been working with animals as a pet sitter, dog walker, kennel assistant, and as an ICU tech since 2020. I have loved animals my entire life and cared for every pet I have met as if they were my own. I have lots of experience with all types of pets with all types of needs, ranging from young pups and kittens to older ones with extensive care. I will do my absolute best to accommodate your daily structure for them by following a simple schedule by starting all morning duties between 7-9am, afternoon exercise and stimulation between 12-2pm, early evening for dinner or other activities between 4-6pm and then nighttime duties between 8-10pm. Throughout each day, I love to provide updates and some pictures to keep you feeling relaxed knowing things are going well. Otherwise, whatever you need is what they will get!
