About: I used to work in a Petshotel taking care of dogs and cats. I have a passion for making animals happy and providing them the the proper care they need. I can administer medications in a variety of ways and have been able to monitor multiple dogs at once during playtimes. I have had 10 dogs in my lifetime, and I can't wait to meet even more. I ask that I meet every pet before hand to make sure we will be a good fit before providing services. I recently graduated with my masters, so I am on the hunt for a full time job. Currently my availability is fully open, but is subject to change later. I had dog-sat many of times before and am extremely respectful of other's property and how they choose to take care of their pet. I like to send pictures of people's pets to them while they are away so they can relax knowing they are in good care.
“Wonderful and attentive! The first person we have trusted with our babies since moving here! If my cats like her, she’s great (they don’t like many people) Will definitely book again!”

About: I have spent my whole life around dogs. My dad was a dog trainer in Alaska so I was able to learn a lot from him over the years. Since then my family has had our own dog which sadly passed away a year ago after 12 sweet years together. We have dog sat for friends and family over the years as our home makes a great space for dog sitting, but have not professionally dog sat before until now. We work from home so your pup will rarely be on their own. We also have a fenced back yard so they can play outside safely! We have three daughters that love to play with dogs so they will keep them perfectly entertained. We enjoy family walks in our neighborhood that your pup would join us on! We currently have no other pets after our sweet dog passed away a year ago. We miss having a dog in our home but aren’t ready for a new permanent pup so Rover seemed like a wonderful idea for our family. Your dog will be treated as our own with our girls being able to play with your pup in our fenced back yard.
“We really appreciate Lydia's help. We can tell from the photos she provided of our dogs that they were well taken care of. Having someone look after our dogs on such a long vacation was a relief. Being able to keep them at our house was certainly a stress relief for them and us. They both get a little separation anxiety so not having to leave them at a boarding place was a great plus. Once again, the pictures showed that they enjoyed having Lydia there and the updates she gave us every day were a load off our minds. We would absolutely book Lydia again.”

“Jackie is the sweetest and my very unsocialized pups just adored her! I appreciate her playing with them and snuggling them and treating them like they are her own. 10/10 would recommend!”

About: I have been a pet owner all my life and I treat every furbaby like they are my own. I enjoy animals and I think they make a household so much better. I’m the one my friends and family rely on when it comes to watching their animals when they have to go out of town and I won’t let you down either with your best friend. I work during the week but I am off during the weekends but I am more than willing to open my home to anyone who needs care. I feed all dogs in their crate or across a baby fence to keep everyone out of trouble and to prevent accidents. Unless I’m familiar with the dogs, I do allow out of crate sleeping but for most I stick with crate sleeping. My schedule is set the same every week. I do work full-time at my job (Monday to Friday) but I am off every weekend. . I treat every animal that walks through my door like family. If I’m watching multiple dogs everyone eats in their crate or across the baby gate.
“Makenzie was PHENOMENAL. Great energy and good questions at the meet & greet. I have 2 high energy 11month old border collie puppies and they love her. She was prompt, communicative and even somehow got the girls to be still long enough for a photo. Wonderful experience! She will be on our regular go-to walker 💕💞”

“Samantha took care of my cats for 10 days! They're loveable rascals but not the best cats in the world so I'm sure it was overwhelming at times. However, she was nothing but positive throughout the last ten days. Thank you so so much!”

“Thanks so much for watching my fur baby last minute. Definitely recommend working with Whitney if you need someone to watch or just check in on your pup. She even worked with me to change the date last minute.”

“Rachel was awesome! I had to adjust my trip and she was more than happy to adjust the drop in visit. She was great at loving on my cats and doing everything they needed.”

“Angie is by far the best caretaker for your furry animals. She is great with communication, takes so many sweet pictures, reliable and adjustable to fit your needs. 100% recommend her to anyone. I can’t say enough great things!”

“Richard did such a great job! I was extremely anxious about leaving my girls. I believe he understood my fears and did everything to abate them. I was instantly at ease with him as were the animals. Great communication and was extremely patient as I worked through the nuances of the app (never used before). I’d book him again, anytime! Thank you ❤️”
“Lindsay is an excellent cat sitter. From the very beginning, she was responsible, kind, and extremely attentive. She took wonderful care of my cats and made sure they were comfortable, safe, and happy while I was away. Lindsay kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. It’s clear that she truly loves animals and treats them as if they were her own. I highly recommend her and would absolutely trust her again.”

About: I always hear people talk about the love of their pet. I understand how that feels since I now have a fur baby of my own. I work from home for the most part; therefore, I have the ability to give your fur baby the attention and care that they deserve. Pet love is the purest form of love. I have a fenced in big back yard with plenty of room for your fur baby to run and play. I also have a cozy and clean indoor space where your baby can rest and feel at home.
“We were in town for a family members surgery and needed to be in the hospital during the day. Ashley did a great job with our dog, was super communicative and reliable. Sent lots of pictures. Would definitely book with her again.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
