“Kim took great care of my dog while I was away for a weekend. She cared for Indie like she was truly her own. She kept me updated and was flexible and timely. I recommend Kim highly for dog walking!”

“Halle has walked our dog several times. She communicates well and takes our pup for nice long walks. I had some initial hesitance using any dog walking service because our dog is large, strong, and can act aggressively toward other dogs - but Halle has confidently worked with her and made accommodations as needed. Highly recommended!”

About: I have experience with both large and small dogs. I lived with an adorable beagle from the age of six until I moved away for college and he was my best friend. My sister has a husky who I adore and a girl with the sweetest pitbull was my roommate for about a year. I enjoy being around all kinds of animals and I especially love dogs because of their playful and friendly nature. I have often helped to feed and walk my family's dogs since leaving home and I hope to adopt a dog or two of my own someday soon because they bring me so much joy. I promise to take the best care of all my client's animals and keep them company while their parents are away. I am a recent college graduate searching for a full time job and hoping to be a pet sitter until I find a steady opportunity. That means I currently have very open availability! I am open to scheduling walks and drop-in visits anytime between 9am and 6pm during the week while having weekends off to relax and spend time with my family. I am only offering care in my clients' homes and neighborhoods at this time. I will treat your home and pets with care and respect as if they were my own. I will be sure to clean up any messes and leave everything just as I found it at the end of my visit. I will follow your care instructions, send photo updates, and call or text with any questions I may have.
“Caprielle is a lifesaver! She walks Gucci and stepped in last minute to puppy-sit both of our boys so we could run errands stress-free. She’s reliable, dependable and so friendly! We’re so grateful for her and highly recommend!”

“LeNai was fantastic! It was our first time trying doggie daycare and LeNai made Neptune feel right at home. We received videos and pictures of him having a great time which eased our own separation anxiety! Would definitely recommend using her services and I'm sure Neptune can't wait to spend some time with her again.”

About: I’ve always been around animals and have worked professionally in dog and cat daycare and boarding. I love getting to know and taking care of people’s greatest companions! I have experience home sitting and daily drop in care. I also have experience administering medicines. I look forward to getting to know your furry family! Im currently a college student and have a part time job, both of which are very flexible and easy to work around. Tuesdays and Thursdays I’m generally unavailable from 10-11:30 am but am free beyond that! I’m more than willing and able to work around each of our schedules to make something work! I am happy to meet your pet where they are most comfortable in their own home, this tends to help the shyest of pets warm up to me so I can take the best care of them possible. If available, I also love having an initial meeting with you to go over your pets details and meet them while their safe person is still present! However, I’m also comfortable meeting them on my own if that is what works for your schedule. Your fur friends comfort and safety is my biggest priority!
About: Hey, I’m Nickey — a stay-at-home mom, dog lover, and proud pet parent of four big pups (who are kept completely separate from guests). I specialize in caring for small dogs only, giving them all the attention and comfort they deserve in a safe, loving home. I also have three little ones, ages 2 to 9, who are gentle and used to being around animals. If needed, I’m happy to keep your pup in their own quiet space away from the kids to ensure everyone stays relaxed and happy. I know how important it is to leave your dog somewhere that feels like home. That’s why I offer: • A stress-free environment just for small dogs • One-on-one attention • Frequent photo + video updates • A calm, cozy routine filled with love, care, and belly rubs Let’s set up a meet-and-greet — I’d love to welcome your little one into my care 🐾✨ I’m a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, which means your pup will get plenty of love and attention throughout the day! I’m available for both weekday and weekend boarding and daycare, and I’m home full-time — no rushing in or out. Whether it’s a short stay or a week-long vacation, your dog will be well cared for in a calm, cozy environment. Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I only accept small dogs, and I already have four large dogs of my own who stay in a separate part of the home. I also have three young kids (ages 2–9) who are great around pets but can be kept completely separate if needed. I provide a secure, smoke-free, kid-aware environment with lots of supervision, soft spaces to rest, and plenty of cuddles. I’m happy to crate your dog if requested and will follow any feeding, potty, or nap routines you provide.
About: I grew up with having a dog around the house, so I have always loved being around pets. The last two summers I have pet sat for families while they were on vacation. Some of the dogs I have taken care of have had medical needs, so I am able to give dogs medication if needed. I have taken care of big and small dogs. I look forward to working and taking care of your pet! During the summer I have more availability outside of when I am on vacation. For house sitting services, I am happy to provide overnight care for your pet. There will be times I will leave the home to run errands, go to work, family time and etc. But I will make sure that your pet’s routine is kept in tact and that they get all the snuggles and love they need. I am a full time teacher so once the school year starts my availability will change. I will not be able to provide pet care in my home. But I can provide pet care in a clients home. I am able to provide walks, feed your pet, provide snuggles, and medication if needed. I will ensure the client home stays clean if I am booked for overnight pet care. If it is too hot outside I may limit the time for the walk. I will also bring a water bottle with a bowl to make sure your dog does not overheat.
About: I’ve had animals my entire life! I would love to take care of your baby’s for you and treat them like my own! I have taken care of dogs & cats at every age and other animals. I don’t have a full-time job right now, so I have time to take care of animals when people need my help when they can’t. I’ve treated every animal as if they were my child. I would do the same whether yours is at my house or I stop in and check on them at yours. I always say I would hate someone forever if they ever let my cat out the door..so you can trust me with your animal!
About: I have been taking care of dogs ever since I was little. Anytime my family or friends need help with their dogs, they come to me. I play sports and go to school. But when I'm not doing that I have plenty of time to take care of your little/big angel. I have a dog of my own that that yours can play with. Space inside and in the backyard where they can run and play.

I started caring for family and friends animals when I was 12 years old and will often help out friends and family when they need me to. About: Hey, I’m Doug. I’ve had dogs my whole life and can’t imagine it any other way. I’ve owned and loved several different breeds over the years, and right now I share my home with a big, lovable German Shepherd and a 16 year old calico cat who has a lot of sass and attitude. I’m also a dad of two, and while my kids are in school I’m looking to earn some extra income doing something I genuinely enjoy. I love being outside, going on long walks, throwing the ball, and ending the day with plenty of snuggles. I’m very responsible and take pet care seriously, but I also try to keep things easy and fun. I’ll always keep you in the loop with updates and photos so you know your pet is happy, safe, and getting lots of attention. If you’re looking for someone who treats your pets like they’re part of the family, I’d love to help out. I’m primarily available on weekdays between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm, which lines up well with mid day check ins, drop ins, and visits while you’re at work. I’m also available some evenings, depending on the day. I can probably work with your schedule, just message me! I’m a parent of two, so I focus on providing reliable care during school hours and select evenings when I can give your pet my full attention. If you have a schedule question or a special request, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to talk through what might work best. When I’m caring for pets in your home, I try to keep things as close to their normal routine as possible. I know how important familiarity is, especially when their people are away. I follow your instructions closely when it comes to feeding, medication, litter box care, playtime, and any little quirks your pet might have. I always make sure your home is left just as I found it. Food and water areas stay clean, litter boxes are scooped, and I do a quick check to make sure everything looks safe and secure before I leave. I also spend time with your pet based on what they’re comfortable with, whether that’s playtime, gentle attention, or just calm company. I’ll keep you updated with notes and photos so you know how things are going and can feel at ease while you’re away. My goal is for you to feel confident that both your pet and your home are being well cared for.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
