“Thank you! This couldn't have gone better. We have been on such a long journey to get him to where he can be alone for extended periods of time and he finally did it! Thank you for all your help for all this time!”

“Abigail was absolutely amazing while caring for our dog, Prince! We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands during our time away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. What really stood out was her consistent communication—she sent us regular updates, along with pictures and messages that gave us peace of mind and let us see how happy and well cared for Prince was. It made being away so much easier. Prince seemed comfortable, relaxed, and well-loved when we returned, which speaks volumes about the care Abigail provided. We are so grateful for her dedication and thoughtfulness. We would highly recommend Abigail to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter—we will definitely be booking her again!”

“Isaiah was a great find! We’re grateful he was flexible with his visit times as it was hot and we wanted to make sure the dogs were comfortable. They loved him and he made sure they were always comfortable with AC and water. I will say be sure to leave clear directions and an instruction sheet to better help him as he is just starting out but don’t let that deter you. He was very communicative and adaptable and our boys loved his visits. Does everything the app asks and also isn’t afraid to reach out for any questions. Thank you!”

“Ashley was very patient with our scaredy cat who would not come out to see her. She went above what was asked and left everything very clean. Will definitely book her again.”

“Rachel was awesome! I had to adjust my trip and she was more than happy to adjust the drop in visit. She was great at loving on my cats and doing everything they needed.”

“Cristal took great care of our two cats while we were away. She’s consistent and compassionate, and we particularly liked the level of detail she included in the check-in cards. She clearly has a lot of experience with and love for animals!”

About: I’ve trained 3 of my own puppies as well as crate trained a few. I’ve loved 6 dogs and 3 cats throughout my lifetime and can’t wait to meet yours! I currently am unable to work a traditional job due to health reasons so you can rest assured all my attention will be on your animals. I have a fenced in yard, a surplus of treats, toys, and beds, as well as a friendly dog and cat you can chose to have you pet play with or a private space in my home where they will have toys, food, water, and entertainment with regular checkups, potty breaks and outside time.

“Halle is really great. I appreciated the chat we had before she began providing her sitter services. She is very thorough and leaves you feeling like your pets will be in good hands. She’s very patient as we have one VERY yappy pup who doesn’t like anyone. Lastly, her prices are super competitive. Really appreciate, Halle.”
“A friend that normally watches our dogs were out of town and our usual sitter was booked. We were in the process of moving and there was so much going on already with the added stress of moving. Julie was exactly what we needed. She took great care of our two dogs. We got photos and updates for every visit and she made us feel so much better by taking great care of our home and dogs. We would love to have Julie again any time.”

“Kim T. is such a kind and genuine person. I feel at ease knowing she is taking care of my fur-child when I am away. Kim is trustworthy and pays attention to detail, even notices when something seems off about your pet. She is wonderful and my dog loves her! ❤️”

“So sweet and great with my two mini schnauzers. Took them out for a quick bathroom break, gave them treats, and even gave them a couple scratches to comfort them! Definitely recommend!”

“Shin did a wonderful job taking care of my indoor cat, Casper, and two community cats, Kate and Gary, that hang out on my front porch. She kept me fully informed with each visit and sent so many cute pictures of all three of them. I have complete confidence in leaving them all in Shin's capable care.”

“Very responsive ! Connects well with your pet/companion. My Autumn had a great time playing with her. Gave me peace of mind to know she is well taken care of while we are apart.”

“Sara is the best! We always know our kitties are in capable and caring hands when they are in her care. We also appreciate how communicative and responsive she is to any needs that arise.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Rocky River
Jada took care of my 4 pets like they were her own. She went above and beyond to make sure they had company, and even stayed over a couple of nights a week so they could be loved up (of course as we agreed on). I 100% recommend her services! I will definitely be booking her again, I know I can trust not only my pets, but my home to her. Thanks Jada!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rocky River. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
