“Logan does it again! Our 3 cats LOVE when he goes over and plays with them. Having him stop by while we’re on vacation helps us feel at ease. Thank you for caring for our babies like your own!!”

“Cristal went above and beyond repeatedly for my boys. I have two senior large breed dogs, and they’re a lot. One has ivdd and has eaten 90% of his tail and repeatedly tries to get to it to chew more off, as well as some GI issues right now and Cristal expressed so much concern and care for his wellbeing while I attended my brothers wedding. She did such a good job that my girlfriend was jealous that she was taking care of the dogs and not her haha, silly I know. But I could not recommend anyone more than I would Cristal. An exceptional human being and incredibly caring pet sitter.”

“Halle is really great. I appreciated the chat we had before she began providing her sitter services. She is very thorough and leaves you feeling like your pets will be in good hands. She’s very patient as we have one VERY yappy pup who doesn’t like anyone. Lastly, her prices are super competitive. Really appreciate, Halle.”
“Cait took such good care of Barley. He loves playtime with her. She takes him out to potty frequently which is so helpful with his training. I highly recommend her services.”

“We have used Claire a number of times over the last year to both board and check in on our cat, Crabcake. She is extremely reliable and takes great care of Crabcake. We highly recommend her!”

“Tasha was great!! We have two small dogs and a new kitten and traveled for 3 nights over the 4th of July weekend. She took great care of our babies, the house was in good shape, the pets were happy, and she sent lots of pics to let us know our pets were doing well. We will definitely book her again!”
“Anna was so sweet and incredibly easy to communicate with! We weren't able to meet ahead of time, but she was so patient while our pup took some time to get comfortable with her. She sent plenty of photos which gave us so much peace of mind even though it was just a drop-in. We really appreciated the great care she gave our dog and will absolutely book with her again!”

“I’ve had Heather come check in on my pet twice now and both times have been fantastic! She’s great at communicating and is so kind and attentive to my kitten!!”

“Sage is a great pet sitter! Our two cats took to her quickly during the meeting, and she provided great updates each visit. Sage was also very communicative while cat sitting during a bad thunderstorm, helping make sure the babies were okay if power went out. Our home and cat areas were clean and well-kept when we returned. Thank you, Sage!!”

“Chris is a gem. She agreed to care for a new cat needing special attention that I adopted just before I left. The young cat developed a respiratory infection and she knew just what to do. She even went and picked up some medicine on her own time. While she gave my new cat special care she was caring for my 2 older cats. I appreciate her prompt to the point communication and photos. Chris always had a positive and down to earth attitude that made things so much easier and such a relief.”

“Audrey is very reliable and was able to help me at the last minute. She does very well with my puppy who can be stubborn at times She keeps me up to date and sends pictures after every visit.”

“Shannon was great while she was watching Marshmallow and Latte. We had very detailed instructions and she followed everything to the dot. Latte is generally shy and doesn’t come out when there are strangers in the house, but Shannon took the time to look for her to make sure she was okay. She really went above and beyond for our cats and we would definitely ask her to come back again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rocky River. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
