“A friend that normally watches our dogs were out of town and our usual sitter was booked. We were in the process of moving and there was so much going on already with the added stress of moving. Julie was exactly what we needed. She took great care of our two dogs. We got photos and updates for every visit and she made us feel so much better by taking great care of our home and dogs. We would love to have Julie again any time.”

“Cristal took great care of our two cats while we were away. She’s consistent and compassionate, and we particularly liked the level of detail she included in the check-in cards. She clearly has a lot of experience with and love for animals!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs ever since I was little. Anytime my family or friends need help with their dogs, they come to me. I play sports and go to school. But when I'm not doing that I have plenty of time to take care of your little/big angel. I have a dog of my own that that yours can play with. Space inside and in the backyard where they can run and play.
“As usual, Kim has taken excellent care of Minnie! I really appreciate her professionalism and excellent communication! If you need a dependable, caring pet sitter, Kim is your person!”

“Sage is a great pet sitter! Our two cats took to her quickly during the meeting, and she provided great updates each visit. Sage was also very communicative while cat sitting during a bad thunderstorm, helping make sure the babies were okay if power went out. Our home and cat areas were clean and well-kept when we returned. Thank you, Sage!!”

“Rachel is attentive, incredibly caring, and willing to do the little things that make the biggest difference. We will continue to book her every time we go out of town and cannot recommend her services enough.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Rocky River
Jada took care of my 4 pets like they were her own. She went above and beyond to make sure they had company, and even stayed over a couple of nights a week so they could be loved up (of course as we agreed on). I 100% recommend her services! I will definitely be booking her again, I know I can trust not only my pets, but my home to her. Thanks Jada!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rocky River. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
