“Dominique was so flexible and kind about a last minute booking. My pup liked her immediately and happily went off on a walk with her. I got lots of pictures even though it was dark and I didn't expect them! Absolutely will book with her again in the future!”

“Joann was so great with our dogs! This was our first rover experience and it was so nice to get notes and pictures of our girls from Joann while we were away!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life, primarily large dogs up until end of life, as well as cats in the last 6 years. I’ve got extensive experience with these guys, and my love for these animals runs deep! I’m currently self-employed, so my schedule is very flexible for visiting or playing with your pets! The best times to schedule me are between 8am and 8pm, but I am open to other hours with planning in advance. :) I have a screened in yard, as well as 2 crates for small dogs and cats, comfy beds, and toys for them to play with! I also have treats and a dedicated space within my home for them to relax in.
About: I have been pet sitting off and on for several years. Mostly friends and family. I'm ready to help you and your pet while you are away. I am available 7 days a week from 9am-3pm for check ins and walks. Message me for anything after that as I can try to make accomodations based on your needs and my schedule. I am more than happy to stop by your house for a quick check in or an hour long play and cuddle session. Expect me to give full attention to your fur babies as needed as well as wall, scoop poop ,clean and refill water bowls and make sure auto feeders or food bowls are replenished.

About: Hi there! I’m Natalie. As a lifelong dog owner, dedicated training enthusiast, and aspiring Veterinary Assistant, caring for animals isn't just a job for me—it's my passion. What I Offer Your Dog: Safety First: Currently enrolled in canine CPR certification and veterinary assistant studies, giving me a solid understanding of pet safety, body language, and emergency preparedness. Training-Minded Care: Experience with dog training techniques means I can maintain your existing routines, leash etiquette, and house rules. Tailored Attention: High-energy exercise, gentle senior care, or structured play tailored to your dog’s specific needs and personality. I treat every dog in my care like my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pup for a Meet & Greet! I am recently retired so I have a lot of free time to have fun with your pup! I love to walk and hike, so an active dog would keep me company! Having taken many dog training classes, I could continue to work with your dog for any training you have established. I also have experience with senior and epileptic dogs, so medication administration is not a problem. I am willing to travel to your home so that your pup is in comfortable surroundings. I understand how hard it is to place your trust with someone in your absence, and will do my best to make sure your pet is happy and secure.

“Casilya has been a god send. Shes deal with our last minute cancellations and additional requests like a champ. She is flexible whenever we need and has made multiple trips when I accidentally locked her out preventing the walk. She could have gone home and charged us anyways but she didn’t she came back to give my pup a much needed walk after I ran home on lunch to unlock the dog patio.”

“Keegan was great! She took excellent care of my dogs while I was out of town, made sure they got their walks, and even brought in my packages. Everything was easy and I came home to happy pups!”

About: I’ve taken care of all types and breeds of animals since I was 10. Most pets feel my energy and are immediately comfortable with me. I get up first thing in the morning and feed the animals, scoop litter boxes and let them out before I even feed myself. Then I go to work for anywhere from 3 to 6 hours. When I return home, dogs go outside for potty breaks, and cats get fed. Once the dogs come back in, they get fed. Depending on their needs and age, I give pretty regular potty breaks. And then a final potty break before bed. Petsitting helps complement my regular day job. I have a fenced in backyard for dogs to roam around, run and play, and to go to the bathroom. I have a 71 inch gate to my living room to separate large dogs from cats or other animals if needed. I also have multiple baby gates to separate out areas if animals don’t do well with other animals or need some time to adjust.

About: I’ve provided dog care for multiple dogs. I’m great with pets considering I have my own as well. I have worked with all types of dogs. I can administer medication and feed them however you prefer. I currently work full time at a job but I either work mornings or night there. I could watch your dog the opposite time I work. I do have two days off during the week as well I could be available. I cannot at this time care for a pet in my own home but I can in someone else’s home. I am very trustworthy and reliable.

About: Hello, I have had a dog since I was a little girl that I helped take care of back home until I moved away to college. I miss taking care of my dog. Feeding them, bathing them, & taking them on walks. I work remote most days so I’m pretty flexible with my time. I will be able to pour a lot of time into the dogs. I will let them be free in my townhome. I can also use a crate if needed. I like to let them be free. Pets are like a therapy to me so I will be playing with them and just making sure they are getting the attention they deserve and need.
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover who rescued and cared for my own dog for many years, which taught me a lot about understanding a pet’s needs. Since then, I’ve been the go-to sitter for family and friends, caring for pets with different personalities and routines. I’m experienced with administering medications, supporting senior dogs, and managing special diets, and I’m always attentive to any instructions you provide. I offer house sitting in your home, dog walking, and drop-in visits, and tailor each visit to your pet’s routine; whether that’s exercise, playtime, or calm companionship. I follow your schedule closely and keep you updated with photos and notes so you always know how your pet is doing. Because I work from home and have a flexible schedule, I’m able to give pets consistent attention and care throughout the day. My aim is to make your time away as easy as possible by providing steady, dependable care and keeping your pet’s routine on track. I value being a comforting, familiar presence for animals, and I’m excited to look after yours as if they were my own. I work from home and have plenty of flexibility in my schedule, which makes it easy to give pets the time and attention they need throughout the day. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or check-ins, I’m able to adjust my routine around each pet’s needs. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay comfortable in their familiar space. I follow your routines closely, give lots of attention and companionship, and keep you updated with photos and notes. I’m also available for walks or drop-in visits as needed.

“Kortney has been great taking care of my Benji. She is reliable and very accommodating to last minute changes in my work schedule. I would definitely recommend her services.”

“Diem was GREAT checking in on our dog and taking her for walks. She is extremely respectful of our home, communicated well, sent sweet notes and pictures on the app, and our dog loved her. Will book again!”

About: I’ve raised five rescue dogs and two rescue cats over the years. I currently have two pups: my Lola, a working breed with many VERY important jobs that the future of this country depends on (if you ask her) and Linus, my funemployed couch potato. My dogs are my life and they’re spoiled for it is their God-given right. I extend that same God-given right to every pet I care for :) They deserve the best in life! They’ll get as much walking, snuggling, fetch, or enrichment if they need their minds kept busy. I also sing opera and jazz to them but will stop if they tell me to 🙂↕️ I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs: high energy herding/working breeds, snuggly companion breeds, 70 lb lapdogs, dogs with separation anxiety, dogs with eccentricities that we don’t judge - this is a safe space. I’ve watched so many dogs that make me crack up with their antics. I’m also a big cat lover. I have experience with social cats who need to help out when I’m doing yoga or cooking or just want to snuggle and watch movies. I also have experience with divas and independent cats who lurk and come out when and if they feel like it. I know it can be tough when you’re away from your pets, so I do everything I can to keep their routines consistent and comforting. On the first day of a house sit, I’ll usually work a half day so I can spend extra time helping them settle in or get their new person excitement out. After that, I work a flexible 9-5ish from your home, so they’ll have plenty of company throughout the day. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I leave to walk my dogs and run errands but aside from that I’m with your pets. I prefer at least a couple days notice but can occasionally do last minute so don’t be afraid to ask! I’m comfortable pet sitting at your home and will follow the routine your pet is used to. Unfortunately, I can’t offer boarding at my house.
“Have used Chelsea many times now and she always goes above and beyond. Love her and the care she take of my Honey. First choice when it comes to rebooking!”

About: 🐾 A Second Home for Your Best Friend 🐾 Leaving your dog with someone new can be stressful, and I want to make that decision a little easier. My goal is to provide the kind of care I would want for my own dogs safe, loving, dependable, and full of attention. Your dog won't just be another booking. I take the time to learn their personality, normal routine, favorite activities, feeding schedule, and all the little things that help them feel comfortable and at home. 🏡 Home-Style Care: For boarding and daycare, your dog gets to enjoy a comfortable home environment rather than feeling like they're staying in a kennel. 🌳 Fully Fenced Private Yard: There's plenty of secure outdoor space for supervised playtime, exercise, sniffing, and potty breaks. 🐶 Personalized Attention: Whether you have an energetic puppy who wants to play or a laid-back dog who would rather relax, I adjust their day around their individual needs. 📸 Regular Photos & Updates: I know how much you miss your dog when you're apart. You'll receive updates and pictures so you can see how they're doing and enjoy your time away with less worry. 🦴 Routine Matters: I'm comfortable following feeding schedules, walking routines, crate routines, potty schedules, basic commands, and other owner instructions. ❤️ Treated Like Family: Most importantly, I want every dog in my care to receive patience, affection, attention, and respect. I offer boarding, doggy daycare, walks, and drop-in visits. Whether your dog is staying for a few hours, spending the night, or simply needs some company while you're away, my goal is for you to pick up a happy dog who's excited to come back. Come as a guest. Leave as family. 🐾 I make pet care a priority and plan my schedule around making sure every dog receives the attention, exercise, potty breaks, playtime, and rest they need. I don't believe in simply putting dogs in the yard and leaving them to entertain themselves. For boarding and daycare, dogs have access to my home as well as a fully fenced private yard for supervised potty breaks, fresh air, exercise, and playtime. I do my best to maintain each dog's normal feeding, sleeping, and potty schedule so their stay feels as familiar and comfortable as possible. Whether your dog loves being active or would rather curl up and relax, I'll adjust their day to their personality and routine. I know trusting someone else with your dog is a big decision. I treat every dog in my care with the same patience, attention, and respect I expect for my own pets. My home provides plenty of indoor space along with a fully fenced private yard for supervised outdoor time. I carefully follow feeding instructions, potty schedules, crate routines, walking preferences, and any other care instructions you provide. I also believe communication builds trust. I'll send photos and updates throughout your dog's stay so you don't have to spend your trip wondering how they're doing. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect both your pet's routine and your home. I'll follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet receives the care, attention, and companionship they're accustomed to. Your dog's safety and comfort will always come before convenience.

Hanna Rose was so accommodating in confirming a couple of last minute walks for Molly. Molly can be a high-energy pup, but Hanna Rose handled her with ease and was so open to following her more structured routine. I really appreciated her flexibility and care, and I look forward to booking more walks and stays with her soon!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
