About: Since being a teenager, I’ve been paid to house sit and do drop ins for the pets of friends and family, in addition to growing up with a family dog, Darla. After Darla eventually passed from old age, in 2018 my family adopted Millie, a beagle-mix who is a lover of walks and still full of surprises after almost seven years! Now that I’m back at school and away from my own dog, I’d love to help support pet owners who need dog walking services or drop in visits! I am currently a student at UNCG, and have class on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I’m still available on those days during specific times, but am almost always available on Wednesdays, and the weekend (FriSatSun). I think an important part of building trust with a client is sending them regular updates such as photos or videos of their pet(s) in addition to a report on how they’ve been doing. Trusting others to care for your pet is hard, especially if you don’t know the sitter or walker personally. Things like that are how I try to ensure that a client knows they are getting the service they paid for and that their pet(s) are well looked after.

About: Years ago, my mother and I owned a boarding kennel and I was a professional groomer. Now I am semi-retired and loving spending time with furry friends! I am familiar with all breeds and love them all! We have always had a pet in our home and would love to provide care while you have to be away. I currently work outside the home for a partial day on Mondays. Other than errands and appointments, I am home all day to interact with your fur baby! Should an emergency come up, I am available. All our furry guests are treated like family. We have a large fenced in yard with no steps for the older fur babies. We own a cat that pretty much keeps to herself. We are good with pets of all ages and understand they all need different levels of care. We are empty nesters, so have the time and energy to keep up with any needs your pet may have. With the exception of Mondays, someone is home all day to provide personal care and supervision for your pet. Mondays Alice works outside the home for a partial day and pets would need to be left alone for 4-6 hours, or she would need to be able to bring your pet (only one) to work with her. Both Alice and Don love animals and provide a nurturing and loving environment for your pet in their home with regular potty breaks in their fenced in back yard.

About: I’m new to rover, but I’m anything but new to pet care! I grew up taking care of all sorts of animals — goats, ferrets, guinea pigs, lizards, you name it! And in the last ten years, I’ve unintentionally built up quite a resume with pet sitting just because of my passionate love for animals. I am many pet owners’ go-to for pet sitting because they trust me to take care of their fur babies in the exact way they would, so you can trust me too:) My husband currently provides the only source of income for us, so my goal with Rover is to turn my pet sitting hobby into a little bit of extra income for us. Since I have no other job, I am free as a bird with an open and flexible schedule! I can easily adapt to your schedule and your pets’ needs:) I can easily provide whatever is needed for your pet. Your pet can run freely inside or be crated to your preference. The only thing I can’t provide is a fenced in yard, but our yard is huge and far from neighbors, and I have a totally free schedule to walk and entertain your pet however much you’d like. If I am coming to your home, you can trust me to follow whatever directions you have. You can also trust me to never take on more pets than I can handle just for the sake of the money, because my main objective is to provide excellent care above all else! We have one medium-sized dog, but he stays with “grandma and grandpa” while I am pet sitting unless of course you request for your pet to have some company!

About: I work from home and would love an excuse to get up from my desk and what better excuse than to get some puppy and dog cuddles while also getting exercise by walking. I currently have a corporate work from home job that requires me to be at a desk. This type of schedule fits into my routine because it allows me to visit pets before starting work, at lunch or breaks, and also after work. My schedule is very flexible that I can meet you where you need it. I am very detail oriented and a huge pet lover at heart so when I am visiting your house, I respect the house rules and follow instructions to a T. I also am very high energy due to ADHD and am a great partner for fetch and walks.

About: I have taken care of and pet sat mat dogs of different sizes from a big German shepherd to a tinny little Chihuahua so there is no dog to big or to small for me to take care of I just graduated high school and am applying to college but I won’t be able to go until next year so until then I’ll be free the whole year unless my family needs me When it comes to taking care of any pets even my own I make sure to keep them on the same schedule they are used to as to make sure they don’t get stressed I also make sure to set alarms for set feeding times of any animal I watch over as well as playing with them and taking them out to use the bath room as needed I also will make sure that if I pet sit over night at someone’s house that the house will be perfectly clean when they come back and that there animal will be happy no matter what.

About: My family loves to run around and play games with furry friends, and there’s always time to snuggle up on the couch. I only take one dog at a time, which allows me to offer focused care to your pet. I have taken care of family and friends’ pets for over 20 years, and would love to help out your family! I am a teacher, and have very flexible summer hours. I can accommodate whatever you need during June-August. During the school, year I am available every afternoon after 3pm. I have a fenced-in backyard in a neighborhood with lots of walking paths. I do not have any pets of my own, so we can devote all of our attention to your furry friend!

This would be M/T/Th 9-5, and W/F 9-1. Flexibility with other days and times can be worked out if communicated and scheduled enough in advance. During the day I have a very quiet house, as well as 2 acres, easy nearby walking avenues, and crates, if your dog requires to be crated at certain times. I may be away from your home for 2 hours max but will be at your home full-time the rest of the time, able to care and play with your pup(s) 24/7, potty breaks or walks every 2-4 hours. About: I’ve loved and taken care of dogs my whole life. Dogs usually gravitate to me out of anyone else in the room. I’m a super active person so I am able to match the playful energy with doggies. I have a relatively flexible schedule and am able to stay overnight multiple nights if needed. I do sometimes have to leave for periods at a time but I never stay away from my animals too long. I have 3 dogs of my own, as well as one that routinely comes over to stay for week long periods. I have my dogs sleep in the bed with me so basically I am super comfortable with any furry friends. I feed morning and night as well as treats when appropriate.

About: I’ve cared for pets for decades! I’ve cared for cats, dogs, reptiles, fish, rats, bunnies, and more! I’ve cared for all ages and needs levels of dogs and cats. I’ve cared for anxious pets who won’t eat and laid-back let’s who just want cuddles! All animals welcome! Over the summer in free quite a bit! I will have a few things planned here or there but I’m super flexible. During the school year, evenings and weekends are best. I live in an apartment so having your pets in my home will be more difficult but not impossible. I would prefer your home because the pets will be more comfortable and relaxed! Providing the best environment for your pets is my priority.

About: I have been dog sitting since I was 11 years old. I’ve grown up with always having a dog in my home. I genuinely love dogs and always want to make sure that not only are the dogs comfortable in my home, but that the owners feel comfortable leaving their little love ones over. I am patient and reliable. If your dog is use to a certain schedule I will take it upon myself to make sure that it’s not to much averted from. Aside from walking, your little one will be able to enjoy my big fenced backyard where they can run around freely and play catch!
