About: My current job is taking care of dogs of all sizes and I love every moment of it. I have also grown up with two large dogs that are the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. I currently work part-time at a pet boarding/ day care job so I have lots of availability and currently work with pets. I can work around my work schedule to find a time that works for you. I have two dogs of my own and they are very well house trained so that they don’t have to go in a crate when we leave the house and they get plenty of play time with us inside and outside.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, and caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy! I have a cat of my own, Archie, and a dog, Stella, who are completely spoiled, and I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs with different personalities and needs. What sets me apart is how much I genuinely care about making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their people are away. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, likes, and boundaries rather than treating every visit the same. Whether your pet wants to play, cuddle, go for a walk, or simply have someone nearby, I’m happy to give them the attention they need. I’m responsible, attentive, patient, and will treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. 🐶🐱💕 I have a flexible schedule and can plan my days around the needs of your pets. I’m happy to coordinate visits, walks, playtime, feeding, and other care around your pet’s normal routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions, keep doors and gates secure, maintain their normal routines, and treat your home with respect. I’m attentive to pets’ behavior and needs and will always communicate with you if anything seems unusual.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is I have taken care of cats, kittens, dogs of all sizes, and a bunny, this has lead me to learn different requirements and routines for different pets. I’ve always had a deep love for animals and would be happy to send you regular updates and pictures. I also wouldn’t mind watering plants or doing any extra cleaning up after your pet. I currently go to school on the weekdays from eight to eleven twenty in the morning and on the weekends I am usually free mostly all day. I have two cats at home, I clean their litter box daily and brush them often in the warmer season to keep them from shedding everywhere. They get fed breakfast, dry food, and dinner, wet food. And they have plenty of toys and two cat trees to play with and sleep on.

Kelsey is AMAZING!! I was in a bind and needed my dog walked for his morning constitutional. Kelsey was available and was at my house within 20 minutes. Baxter (and I) just loved her. She so sweet and I will definitely book her in the future! Baxter kept running window to window looking for her when she left. She made a friend for life with him! Kelsey, I can’t say thank you enough for your help today!!

About: I have cared for many pets over the past 30 years (dogs in the past decade). I am also a foster for the Humane Society of Union County. Pets hold a very special place in our hearts and in our lives, and often times help is required. I am here to offer help so that you, your family, and pets can all thrive. Extra love and praises are always included! It would be a privilege for me to care for your furry family members! ❤️ I am open to help during all weekdays, while my kids are busy at school. This would be M/T/Th 9-5, and W/F 9-1. Flexibility with other days and times can be worked out if communicated and scheduled enough in advance. During the day I have a very quiet house, as well as 2 acres, easy nearby walking avenues, and crates, if your dog requires to be crated at certain times. For cats, I have plenty of comfy nap spots, as well as a litter box for use. 🐶 🐱 🩷

About: I have over 30 years of experience caring for pets, ranging from dogs and cats to small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs, and farm animals like goats and chickens. My responsibilities have included: Daily Care: Feeding, providing fresh water, and administering medication as needed. Exercise & Enrichment: Walking dogs of various breeds and energy levels, engaging in interactive play, and ensuring mental stimulation for pets. Routine Maintenance: Cleaning litter boxes, picking up waste during walks, and keeping pet areas tidy. Special Needs: Caring for shy, senior, or reactive pets, tailoring my approach to meet their unique behavioral or medical needs. Communication: Keeping pet owners updated with regular photos and messages to provide peace of mind. Additionally, I have worked with pets that require extra patience or attention, such as rescue animals adjusting to new environments or pets with separation anxiety. My approach focuses on building trust and ensuring every animal feels safe, happy, and loved. 🐶🐱🐾 I am opening my own healing and end of life care practice, allowing me a somewhat flexible schedule. I usually am not gone more than 4-6 hours a day, and usually only a few days per week. I prefer to take care of pets in their own home and keeping to their usual routines. This gives your pets the most comfortable option while they get to know me.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for years and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. What sets me apart from other sitters is my ability to adapt to each dog’s unique needs, for example, helping energetic dogs burn off energy through long walks/playing in the backyard and attentive care for senior dogs who might need a little more assistance! I’m comfortable administering oral medications, working with puppies on basic manners, and walking dogs that pull on leash. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while in my care! As a college student home for the summer, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to spend with your pets! Since I am currently not working another job, I am available throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and feeding. I can accommodate most schedules, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and last-minute bookings whenever possible. My goal is to provide reliable care and make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve while you’re away! Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I do have a secure, fenced-in yard where dogs can safely play and exercise. I also have dogs of my own of different ages, sizes, and energy levels, which has given me a lot of experience caring for many different personalities and needs. I carefully introduce dogs when appropriate, monitor all interactions, and can separate pets if needed to make sure everyone is comfortable and safe. I follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special requests to make sure your pet feels happy and safe while in my care!

About: About Me I am an avid animal lover with years of hands-on pet care experience. Moose, my rescue dog, and Wesley, my Golden Retriever, have played a significant role in shaping my passion for animal care and training. Both Moose and Wesley are registered therapy dogs, and we spend much of our free time volunteering together in the community. Currently, they volunteer at CLT Airport, and Wesley also participates in a local library program. We have experience working in a variety of therapy settings and enjoy making a positive impact through animal-assisted interactions. I am an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator, and training has always been a passion of mine. Moose has earned several AKC titles, including Trick Dog Intermediate, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Advanced Canine Good Citizen (CGCA), and Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGCU). Through years of training, volunteering, evaluating dogs, and handling my own dogs, I have developed strong skills working with dogs of various temperaments, energy levels, and training backgrounds. I also have experience assisting a professional dog trainer and have worked with a variety of breeds, including working dogs. Whether it’s a high-energy sporting breed, a working breed, or a laid-back companion, I understand that every dog has unique needs and deserves individualized care. In my free time, you’ll often find us volunteering, training, or participating in dog sports. Dock diving and Barn Hunt are among our favorite activities, and I enjoy finding new ways to provide enrichment and mental stimulation for dogs. I am also knowledgeable about guinea pig care, having previously owned and cared for one myself. Experience I have experience caring for a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. From toy breeds to giant breeds and everything in between I am comfortable meeting the unique needs of each pet. I am confident administering medications, following specialized feeding routines, and accommodating specific care instructions. My experience with working breeds and active dogs has helped me develop strong handling skills, but I am equally comfortable caring for senior pets, puppies, and dogs with lower activity levels. Providing services through Rover is not my full-time profession, which allows me to carefully manage my client load and ensure each pet receives individualized attention. Schedule I make every effort to keep my availability calendar accurate and up to date. To ensure quality care and attention for every pet, I limit the number of client families I work with at one time. Personalized Care Every pet is unique, and I tailor my services to meet your pet’s individual needs and your preferences as an owner. While you’re away, I provide honest, detailed updates along with photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Text messages are preferred and typically receive the quickest response. My availability reflects my current schedule. I work full time and do work with high drive dogs on the weekends (Malinois, GSD). I have also started adventuring in dog sports. If there is an opening in my schedule for in home boarding, I will be home all day. [FOR PETS HOUSED AT MY HOME] I have a fenced-in yard and do not leave pets outside unattended. Safety is my number one priority. I do not leave dogs unattended in the home. If I will not be home for even a short period of time, I will let you know prior to booking an overnight stay. I only accept crate-trained dogs in my home and will crate your furry friend with safe enrichment items if I have to leave for a short period of time. I have cameras throughout my home and on all crates (which are always inside and temperature monitored) so I always know how your furry friend is. For overnight stays in my home, I require that all dogs are up to date with vaccinations and are on flea/tick, and heartworm preventative. I also require a meet and greet in most cases in a neutral environment for your furry friend before booking. I have 2 male dogs of my own and want to ensure your animals get along with mine. I only accept crate trained dogs in my home. I require proof of up to date vaccinations as well flea/tick/heartworm preventative.

My pup loves going for a walk with a Karen! She is always on time and Virgil loves when she visits. She sends a Rover card each walk that shows where they went/how long/poops/pees, etc. So convenient! I highly recommend her services.

About: I’ve been petsitting intermittently since 2014, when I started taking care of my neighborhood’s various dogs and cats to earn some extra cash in high school. Since then, I’ve found it to be a great way to help supplement my education while allowing me to spend time around a variety of wonderful animals. I’m a cat mom myself and love watching them but I’m happy to help out with dogs as well if they are the right fit for my services. Available for housesitting as dependent on my schedule. I don’t typically do drop-in visits unless they are located nearby and I already know the client. Thanks! I believe in maintaining the integrity of a pet’s routine- with regular walks, potty breaks, and playtime to keep them engaged and happy! As a pet owner, I’m used to structured feeding schedules and maintaining clean, healthy homes for your pet to flourish in.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every size and breed since I was 16. My experiences include dog walking, home drop ins for extra play time or potty breaks, and in home stays or boarding while you’re on vacation! I have a five year old and a two year old golden retriever so I’m familiar with puppies and dogs with lots of energy. I’ve never met a dog I didn’t love! I am currently out of work on maternity leave so I have tons of flexibility and availability. When I go back to work, I’ll be working 3-4 days a week as a nurse. Therefore I will still have some availability on days and weekends when I am not working. Given the opportunity to care for your dog, I will treat them as if they’re my own. There will be lots of snuggles, belly rubs, playtime, and most importantly I’ll make sure they’re safe and we’ll taken care of. During your time away I’ll send pictures so that you’re always up to date.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
