Very comfortable taking care of any aged pet, as well as taking the time to tailor my care to their specific needs (food, medications, any other habits, etc.) I have completely open availability for any time on any day(s)! Will not be able to board your pets, but at your home I will have complete respect of your space and privacy, my main priority is your animal!

About: I’m a 19 year old student at UNC Charlotte and have grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for animals comes very naturally to me. I’ve also dog and cat sat many times for friends, family, and others, including feeding, walking, playing, and overnight care. I’m comfortable with pets of different sizes and personalities, and I always make sure to follow routines closely so pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I have classes in the mornings until around 12, which leaves me free for the rest of the day and evenings. I’m available for check-ins, feedings, walks, and overnight stays with pets throughout the afternoon and night. I’m also flexible with my schedule and can adjust to meet a pet’s specific routine, whether that means multiple visits a day or staying longer to make sure they’re comfortable and cared for. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I always follow their specific instructions closely to keep their pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I make sure pets are fed on time, have fresh water, get plenty of attention, and any other care they need like walks, playtime, or litter box cleaning. I’m respectful of my clients’ homes and keep everything clean and organized. I also like to provide updates and photos so owners feel comfortable knowing their pet is happy and well cared for while they’re away.

About: I’ve cared for everything from tiny bottle-fed kittens and puppies to vocal Australian Shepherds, senior pets, my diabetic cat (including administering insulin), chickens, reptiles, and even a tarantula back in my school days. From young pets to wise seniors, I’m steady, patient, and love adapting to each personality—and special needs are no problem at all. It fits into my daily routine. I take care of two cats, an 18 month old girl named Pepa. Very vocal, demanding, and playful. I also take care of my diabetic cat sikes. He is a thirteen year old ragdoll. Administering his insulin shots 12 hours apart and feeding him 3 times a day. I work from 8:30-5:15 pm M-F as I work an office job. After and before that I’m typically at home. I’m more than willing to meet you and your pet family before you decide to work with me. I want to make sure that you feel confident in my abilities and trust me with your loved ones. Due to my senior cat I am unable to care for your pets at my home. Although I am down for just about anything else. I respect the owners not just through the care of their pets, but the care of their homes. I’ll take the trash out, turn the lights on and off, and smile to your neighbors.

About: We’ve taken care of our friends dogs and have a little guy of our own (Shih tzu). He is a wonderful and loving little guy. One of us works remote permanently, we are able to take them outside as much as they need and they will be attended to at all times. At least one of us will always be home. We have a fenced yard and a little guy of our own who’s 2 years old now. He loves to go for walks and play and he loves other dogs.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is I have taken care of cats, kittens, dogs of all sizes, and a bunny, this has lead me to learn different requirements and routines for different pets. I’ve always had a deep love for animals and would be happy to send you regular updates and pictures. I also wouldn’t mind watering plants or doing any extra cleaning up after your pet. I currently go to school on the weekdays from eight to eleven twenty in the morning and on the weekends I am usually free mostly all day. I have two cats at home, I clean their litter box daily and brush them often in the warmer season to keep them from shedding everywhere. They get fed breakfast, dry food, and dinner, wet food. And they have plenty of toys and two cat trees to play with and sleep on.

We loved getting daily videos and photos of her being sweet with them—it was clear they were in great hands. As a final touch, she even left us homemade baked bread on her last day, which was such a thoughtful surprise. I worked at a dog daycare for two years, where I cared for a wide range of personalities and needs. I’ve also been dog sitting for the past four years and truly love what I do. “Sarah came to our home prior to our trip to meet our 4 cats and immediately bonded with them and thoroughly understood what would be needed. During our trip, Sarah came to the home and took amazing care of our 3 cats as 1 needed to be boarded due to medical issues. She completed all things needed to take care of our cats including: feeding, medication management, litter box cleaning and most importantly snuggle time. Sarah also took the time to get our mail and vacuumed the floors to clean up the litter scatter. We will definitely use Sarah again when we travel in the future!!”

About: I have always been around dogs my entire life. I have adopted one of my own and I am training it to be a service dog. That is why I am interested in watching dogs. I am a 27 years old who is always exploring places to bring dogs. I am very patient and loving of dogs. When I am around dogs they are treated extra special with me. I love to give them treats and spoil them, walk them, bring them to the park or anywhere that allows dogs. I am not afraid of being around any dogs. Dogs are the best friends in the world and will they will be taken care of with love, happiness, joy and excitement. People wont regret it I’m currently working full time but work first thing in the morning from 6 to 1. I let them Out first thing in the morning before I go to work. I then have the rest of the afternoon and evening where I am around to spend quality time with the dogs. My husband helps me in the morning as he is around in the morning hours I have a fenced in yard with a couple friendly dogs who enjoy the company and will get zoomies out of your fur baby if you consider me.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Growing up we always had dogs/cats/fish. I am very active and love going on walks/runs. I'd be happy to have your pup tag along. I am familiar with puppies all the way to hospice senior dogs. More recently, we had to let our 14.5 years old bulldog go due to kidney failure. I am experienced in routines, meds, special harnesses, & subcutaneous fluid IVs. I work part-time from my home office. Your pet will always have me around for their specific needs, whether that is random cuddles, potty training, or special routines. I currently don't have any pets as we lost our dog Kinley in January. I live in a 3-story townhome with a minimal yard with no fence - but plenty of common areas and leashed walking space.

About: I have been caring and sitting for various types of various furry family members since I was a young teen with over a decade of experience (wow, just typing that both aged and hurt me)! I’m also the proud employee of my very own tortoiseshell cat (Kitty) where I live to please her every waking moment so I’m very used to the most fickle and demanding of bosses. As of recently, I’ve been lucky enough to have a much more flexible schedule with that affords me wide timeframes to care for & spend time with furry friends. I’m very diligent with pet parent’s instructions when caring for furry family members and show the utmost of caution, love, and care to meet the needs of my clients whether in their home or mine. I will never accept an opportunity that I can not fully meet the time, needs, expectations, or environment for someone’s loved pet.

About: I've taken care of pets all of my life. From puppies all the way up to seniors. I love them all. They all need someone to care for them and feel the extra love especially when their normal family is away. I'm currently flexible and can fit pet care into my daily routine. Occasionally, I will pick up an additional job. But that shouldn't interrupt with taking care of what I love to do and that is to take care of fur babies. I would rather take care of your pets in their environment due to the fact that they are most comfortable there. I also have two fur babies of my own. But I feel as if fur babies are normally happy in their own surroundings.

“A week before we were leaving to go out of town for Christmas, the company I hired to watch our dogs cancelled. We have 8 dogs so it’s not easy to find someone to take them on, especially during the holidays. After calling well over a dozen companies I decided to try rover and found Ashley. I am SO glad I did. Ashley is by far the BEST pet sitter I’ve ever had. She is knowledgeable, trustworthy, patient and thorough. She not only loves dogs, she understands them and was able to deal with our formerly feral rescue dog’s behavior issues. Her updates were specific and made me laugh because she definitely understood our dogs individual quirks. Our dogs all got the attention we hoped they would while we were away. AND I came home to my house being cleaner than I left it! Obviously, we will hire Ashley again anytime we need a pet sitter. I can’t say enough good things about Ashley!
