About: Since my teenage years, I’ve been paid to house sit and do drop ins for the pets of friends and family, in addition to growing up with a family dog, Darla. After she eventually passed, in 2018 my family adopted Millie, a beagle-mix who is a lover of walks and still full of surprises after almost seven years! She has taught me so much about the way dogs communicate and what they need from us to live their best lives. I’m so lucky that through Rover I can continue to learn more about such special companions while caring for your V.I.P (Very Important Pupper)! I am a recent college graduate and back in my hometown for the moment. I keep a pretty flexible schedule at the moment but I’ll always be prompt about letting you know when/if there are any schedule conflicts. I think an important part of building trust with a client is sending them regular updates such as photos or videos of their pet(s) in addition to a report on how they’ve been doing. Trusting others to care for your pet is hard, especially if you don’t know the sitter or walker personally. Things like that are how I try to ensure that a client knows they are getting the service they paid for and that their pet(s) are well looked after.

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with five dogs, and I got my first cat about 10 years ago. I originally had allergies to cats, but over time I was able to build up a tolerance, and cats have been a huge part of my life ever since! I’ve cared for all different kinds of cats, including cats with special needs, so I understand that every animal has their own personality, routines, and individual needs. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to take the time to make an animal feel comfortable and safe. I also have experience caring for chickens and other animals, and I’ve cared for a Husky who was on a raw-meat diet. I’m comfortable following specific feeding instructions and routines, and I understand how important consistency is for pets. One of my favorite experiences was caring for that Husky and taking her on trails every day. I genuinely enjoy being active with dogs and making sure they get the exercise, stimulation, and attention they need. Whether your pet is energetic and adventurous, shy and takes some time to warm up, or needs a little extra care, I’d love to help. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away—and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. 🐾 I currently work online, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to care for your pets without being tied to a traditional work schedule. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and make sure they receive the same care, attention, and consistency they’re used to at home. I love keeping pets in their normal routine and following a clear plan for meals, bathroom breaks, medications, and any special dietary needs. I’m happy to give them plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, and attention so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I also have experience helping puppies with leash walking, crate training, and learning not to jump when guests arrive. For cats, I’ve cared for both indoor and outdoor cats, kept litter boxes clean, and made sure their space stays clean and comfortable. Tell me their favorite toys, activities, routines, and little quirks—I’m happy to keep them happy and cared for just the way they’re used to. 🤍

About: I work from home and would love an excuse to get up from my desk and what better excuse than to get some puppy and dog cuddles while also getting exercise by walking. I currently have a corporate work from home job that requires me to be at a desk. This type of schedule fits into my routine because it allows me to visit pets before starting work, at lunch or breaks, and also after work. My schedule is very flexible that I can meet you where you need it. I am very detail oriented and a huge pet lover at heart so when I am visiting your house, I respect the house rules and follow instructions to a T. I also am very high energy due to ADHD and am a great partner for fetch and walks.

About: I have taken care of and pet sat mat dogs of different sizes from a big German shepherd to a tinny little Chihuahua so there is no dog to big or to small for me to take care of I just graduated high school and am applying to college but I won’t be able to go until next year so until then I’ll be free the whole year unless my family needs me When it comes to taking care of any pets even my own I make sure to keep them on the same schedule they are used to as to make sure they don’t get stressed I also make sure to set alarms for set feeding times of any animal I watch over as well as playing with them and taking them out to use the bath room as needed I also will make sure that if I pet sit over night at someone’s house that the house will be perfectly clean when they come back and that there animal will be happy no matter what.

About: Years ago, my mother and I owned a boarding kennel and I was a professional groomer. Now I am semi-retired and loving spending time with furry friends! I am familiar with all breeds and love them all! We have always had a pet in our home and would love to provide care while you have to be away. I currently work outside the home for a partial day on Mondays. Other than errands and appointments, I am home all day to interact with your fur baby! Should an emergency come up, I am available. All our furry guests are treated like family. We have a large fenced in yard with no steps for the older fur babies. We own a cat that pretty much keeps to herself. We are good with pets of all ages and understand they all need different levels of care. We are empty nesters, so have the time and energy to keep up with any needs your pet may have. With the exception of Mondays, someone is home all day to provide personal care and supervision for your pet. Mondays Alice works outside the home for a partial day and pets would need to be left alone for 4-6 hours, or she would need to be able to bring your pet (only one) to work with her. Both Alice and Don love animals and provide a nurturing and loving environment for your pet in their home with regular potty breaks in their fenced in back yard.

I’m available weekday mornings from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM and evenings from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM—perfect for early walks, dinner visits, or bedtime check-ins. Weekends are fully open, so I can accommodate a wide range of pet care needs, including daytime visits, overnights, and extended stays. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, playtime, and medication instructions exactly as provided, and I make sure your pet gets plenty of love and attention!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about the age of 14. My cousin had 2 older Dachshunds (one was blind), and a Pomeranian. I have experience walking, feeding, brushing and playing with dogs. I also am flexible with accommodating older dogs medical needs, whether that be picking them up due to a back injury or making sure they don’t run into sharp objects if they have visual impairments. I believe all dogs no matter the size, age or breed should be given the right care and attention that they deserve. I want to gather as much experience taking care of as many breeds as possible, I plan to be a foster dog mom in the future. I currently have full availability for the summer except when I am on vacation. I love taking care of pets and am available throughout the week and weekends and will be able to take your fur babies for lots of playtime outside. I enjoy walking and spending time in nature with pets. I love walking outside and am used to living in residential spaces. I have no issues with wiping your dogs paws with a wet wipe or paper towel if they get too dirty from walking outside.

About: I’ve owned dogs and also help care for my neighbors and family members dogs when they go out of town. Not in a situation to have my own right now sadly, I’d love to hang out with yours! :) we also have a sweet 10 year old cat that we’ve had since he was just a couple months old, we are cat people just as much as dog people, I’d love to come drop in and hang with your kitty. For the summer time I do have my almost 6 year old daughter and my 3 year old son with me. They are both very respectful of dogs and cats. However if your pet is not good with kids I am available after 5 pm on weekdays and mostly all weekend days. I will keep your pet safe and abide by what you ask of me! Like I said, I truly love animals. I will do all that I can to make them feel loved, safe and cared for while you’re gone. ☺️

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life and have always been an animal lover. I have 2 dogs myself. I also have 2 years of experience training dogs and have been fostering dogs with Mecklenburg County Animal Care and Control for 2 years. I can train and care for puppies, or take care of seniors. Im comfortable giving pills to dogs as well. I work a small gig teaching dance to kids in their daycares. I may be away from your home for 2 hours max but will be at your home full-time the rest of the time, able to care and play with your pup(s) 24/7, potty breaks or walks every 2-4 hours. About: I have taken care of many dogs throughout my life. I pay a lot of attention to detail of what an owner asks of me. I am always attentive and wanting to give love to your pups. I am a 4.0 college athlete that loves to be active and helpful in any way I can! I am free throughout the day as I am back from college for summer break. Normally I love to workout and play soccer over the summer, but other than that I am available. I am always aware of what the pet is doing. I make sure that the pet is played with, brought outside, and will follow the owners directions as indicated.
