About: Since being a teenager, I’ve been paid to house sit and do drop ins for the pets of friends and family, in addition to growing up with a family dog, Darla. After Darla eventually passed from old age, in 2018 my family adopted Millie, a beagle-mix who is a lover of walks and still full of surprises after almost seven years! Now that I’m back at school and away from my own dog, I’d love to help support pet owners who need dog walking services or drop in visits! I am currently a student at UNCG, and have class on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I’m still available on those days during specific times, but am almost always available on Wednesdays, and the weekend (FriSatSun). I think an important part of building trust with a client is sending them regular updates such as photos or videos of their pet(s) in addition to a report on how they’ve been doing. Trusting others to care for your pet is hard, especially if you don’t know the sitter or walker personally. Things like that are how I try to ensure that a client knows they are getting the service they paid for and that their pet(s) are well looked after.

About: Years ago, my mother and I owned a boarding kennel and I was a professional groomer. Now I am semi-retired and loving spending time with furry friends! I am familiar with all breeds and love them all! We have always had a pet in our home and would love to provide care while you have to be away. I currently work outside the home for a partial day on Mondays. Other than errands and appointments, I am home all day to interact with your fur baby! Should an emergency come up, I am available. All our furry guests are treated like family. We have a large fenced in yard with no steps for the older fur babies. We own a cat that pretty much keeps to herself. We are good with pets of all ages and understand they all need different levels of care. We are empty nesters, so have the time and energy to keep up with any needs your pet may have. With the exception of Mondays, someone is home all day to provide personal care and supervision for your pet. Mondays Alice works outside the home for a partial day and pets would need to be left alone for 4-6 hours, or she would need to be able to bring your pet (only one) to work with her. Both Alice and Don love animals and provide a nurturing and loving environment for your pet in their home with regular potty breaks in their fenced in back yard.

About: I’m new to rover, but I’m anything but new to pet care! I grew up taking care of all sorts of animals — goats, ferrets, guinea pigs, lizards, you name it! And in the last ten years, I’ve unintentionally built up quite a resume with pet sitting just because of my passionate love for animals. I am many pet owners’ go-to for pet sitting because they trust me to take care of their fur babies in the exact way they would, so you can trust me too:) My husband currently provides the only source of income for us, so my goal with Rover is to turn my pet sitting hobby into a little bit of extra income for us. Since I have no other job, I am free as a bird with an open and flexible schedule! I can easily adapt to your schedule and your pets’ needs:) I can easily provide whatever is needed for your pet. Your pet can run freely inside or be crated to your preference. The only thing I can’t provide is a fenced in yard, but our yard is huge and far from neighbors, and I have a totally free schedule to walk and entertain your pet however much you’d like. If I am coming to your home, you can trust me to follow whatever directions you have. You can also trust me to never take on more pets than I can handle just for the sake of the money, because my main objective is to provide excellent care above all else! We have one medium-sized dog, but he stays with “grandma and grandpa” while I am pet sitting unless of course you request for your pet to have some company!

About: My family loves to run around and play games with furry friends, and there’s always time to snuggle up on the couch. I only take one dog at a time, which allows me to offer focused care to your pet. I have taken care of family and friends’ pets for over 20 years, and would love to help out your family! I am a teacher, and have very flexible summer hours. I can accommodate whatever you need during June-August. During the school, year I am available every afternoon after 3pm. I have a fenced-in backyard in a neighborhood with lots of walking paths. I do not have any pets of my own, so we can devote all of our attention to your furry friend!

I am a college student so I am unavailable on Tuesdays and available starting from 1pm on Thursdays, and I work part time a few days a week, which will always be updated monthly in my calendar! I have two dogs of different ages, sizes, and needs and can handle anything from playtime to unhappy sailors. Walking on or off leash, feeding, and medicine are no problem at any age or temperament.

About: I’ve loved and taken care of dogs since my childhood. During my high school years, I was at home full-time with our dog, a Westie named Duncan, so I was responsible for feeding and walking him, letting him outside, and playing with him. Since then, I have gained additional experience with house sitting and in-home visits by taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs. Dogs are such a joy and when I take care of them, I’m committed to making sure they feel happy and loved. I’m currently working full-time hours via two part-time jobs, one being for a church and the other at Jimmy John’s. I have flexible availability outside of my work schedule, and I am able to request breaks so I can stop by to check on your dog. It’s relatively easy for me to adjust my schedule and make time to check on your pets as needed. For in-home visits and care, I promise to be extremely careful and respectful regarding your home. I will do exactly what is required to take care of your pets. I have experience following a schedule for meal time and potty breaks, so I can adhere to any routine you keep for your pets.

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life and have always been an animal lover. I have 2 dogs myself. I also have 2 years of experience training dogs and have been fostering dogs with Mecklenburg County Animal Care and Control for 2 years. I can train and care for puppies, or take care of seniors. Im comfortable giving pills to dogs as well. I work a small gig teaching dance to kids in their daycares. I may be away from your home for 2 hours max but will be at your home full-time the rest of the time, able to care and play with your pup(s) 24/7, potty breaks or walks every 2-4 hours. About: I’ve owned dogs and also help care for my neighbors and family members dogs when they go out of town. Not in a situation to have my own right now sadly, I’d love to hang out with yours! :) we also have a sweet 10 year old cat that we’ve had since he was just a couple months old, we are cat people just as much as dog people, I’d love to come drop in and hang with your kitty. For the summer time I do have my almost 6 year old daughter and my 3 year old son with me. They are both very respectful of dogs and cats. However if your pet is not good with kids I am available after 5 pm on weekdays and mostly all weekend days. I will keep your pet safe and abide by what you ask of me! About: I have been dog sitting since I was 11 years old. I’ve grown up with always having a dog in my home. I genuinely love dogs and always want to make sure that not only are the dogs comfortable in my home, but that the owners feel comfortable leaving their little love ones over. I am patient and reliable. If your dog is use to a certain schedule I will take it upon myself to make sure that it’s not to much averted from.
