“If it wasn't for Daniel, we would never be able to go on vacation as much as we have in the past couple years. Our boy absolutely loves Daniel and does so well while with him. We always appreciate how often Daniel will text us updates and photos, and we know without a doubt that our boy is well taken care of while we are away. In fact, I'm pretty sure he gets way more exercise while at Daniel's because we always hear about their frequent walks and meet ups with friendly neighbors! We cannot say enough good things about him.”

“Christal is so sweet. I can tell she really cares. She gave updates and was a great communicator. She took excellent care of our almost 16 year old beagle. I trust her to be our dog sitter when we leave town.”

“Tucker had the best weekend with Carolina and her sweet girls! They were so kind and welcoming, and the video updates throughout his time there were wonderful. She was wonderful!”

“Dana watched my six year-old miniature schnauzer who I’m very particular about who I leave with. She kept me updated with text messages and pictures throughout my dog’s whole stay. I can tell that she is a true pet lover. I felt very comfortable with leaving her there and I’m definitely gonna use her again.”

“Sheila was truly amazing taking care of Layla! From the very beginning, she was kind, attentive, and treated Layla like her own. She sent photos and updates that kept my mind at ease while I was on vacation, which meant so much to me. Layla seemed super happy being with her, and it was clear she was well cared for the entire time. Sheila is reliable, communicative, and truly goes above and beyond. I’m so grateful for her and would absolutely trust her again. Highly recommend!”

“Albina is a great sitter. Very responsive. She has a fenced in backyard and our lab loves playing with her lab in the backyard. She will keep you updated on your pet with pictures and videos. Her kids loved on my dog.”

“This was our first experience with Rover.com. We were so lucky we chose Annie S. as Laci's sitter! She left excellent communication (pictures and text) which was so appreciated after being away from our Shih tzu for eight days. Laci got so much attention and had such a great time! I felt as though she was treated with the same care she receives at home. I was extremely comfortable and at ease from the minute I met Annie. I highly recommend her for your animal's care. We will definitely use Annie again in the future.”

“Alyssa and her husband did an awesome job with Marlowe! They truly listened to my instructions and made Marlowe feel comfortable! They took photos and kept me updated and showed just how my pup son was a happy camper!”

“Bozena was a great sitter for the time she had Nemo with the inclusion of constant photo updates. Bozena welcomed us into her home where Nemo was going to have plenty of company with the kids being around. The fact that Bozena was able to take care of some other dogs while Nemo was there also added to his stay. Nemo also seemed to have a great time in her yard prancing around as he wished. He exerted so much energy during his stay that once we got home he slept the whole afternoon. She may be a bit far out to some folks, but I definitely recommend Bozena if available.”

“Kayla and Michael did an amazing job taking care of my dog, first for a weekend and then for a week while I was out of the country. They were diligent about giving her medications and providing me updates. They took extra care to make sure she could spend some time playing outside in the morning before it got too hot. They went above and beyond to not only ensure she was comfortable, but to also make sure she had fun. She looked genuinely happy in the photo updates Kayla sent, which gave me peace of mind. She can be a bit introverted but even seemed to make friends with the other dogs. In the future, I will be sure to book way in advance so Nova can stay with Kayla and Michael and their family. Thank you!!”

“Wynde was an absolute joy to work with. She welcomed our anxious girl with open arms and made her feel so comfortable. Wynde sent pictures daily and updated us on things Rosie did with them. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“Tina was absolutely fabulous with our sweet Duchess! When we picked Duchess up it was like Duchess had spent the weekend with a lifelong friend as they connected so quickly. Tina’s communication, friendliness, and professionalism makes her an excellent choice for caring for your fur babies while you’re out of town.”

“Yevheniia did a great job watching our dog Foquito. She was very responsive and accommodating. Her communication was great and we appreciated the photos she sent of Foquito during his stay with her. We could tell he was having fun. She was also very attentive when he got a small cut on his paw, and we appreciate that she took time to clean it and put antiseptic. We plan to book with her again!”

“Couldn’t be happier. Brittany came in and saved the day! Such an amazing sitter! Extremely communicative, caring, and made me feel so comfortable being away. My pup was so happy. I will 1000% be rebooking”

“Katherine was amazing with my dog! She kept me updated with photos and messages the whole time, and my pup clearly had a great time. You can tell she really loves dogs — mine was happy and totally comfortable when I got back. Everything was super easy and stress‑free. I’ll definitely be booking with Katheeine again!”

“Second time booking with Lauren. This time our shy dog went right up to her door like it was her second home. Really appreciate how easy communication is with Lauren throughout the whole process.”

“Clayton is the best! Our 2 dogs love being boarded with him and always come home happy and exhausted from playing with other dogs. He sends great updates and pictures. Highly recommend!”

“My girls had a great time staying with Cheryl over Thanksgiving. I know they got lots of love and attention. Cheryl sent me lots of pictures and kept with how they were doing. Thank you Cheryl, we will be back!!”

About: My Love & Experience With Cats 🐱❤️ I got my first cat, Lilikoi, about 10 years ago—even though I was allergic at the time! After six months of sneezing and itchy eyes, I somehow outgrew my allergy. It was completely worth it. 😂 Lilikoi showed me the incredible bond you can have with a cat—the trust, eye contact, affection, and quiet companionship. Since then, I’ve realized just how special cats are and how often their personalities are misunderstood. I’ve cared for cats of all ages and personalities, from bottle-feeding rescued kittens to caring for elderly cats with special needs. I’ve also cared for multiple cats at once, including Wally, a 17-year-old cat with an autoimmune condition who needed medication and extra attention. I cared for her and five other cats for six months, and I was so happy to recently hear that Wally has completely recovered! I truly love getting to know each cat’s unique personality. Whether they want to play, cuddle, explore, or simply have someone nearby, I’m happy to give them the patience, attention, and care they deserve. 🐾 Please reach out with any questions or special needs your cat may have!

“We are so grateful for Natalie! She took amazing care of our cat, Milo, while we were out of town and went above and beyond in every way. Not only did she make sure Milo was well cared for and loved, but she also helped us by bringing in packages, watering our flowers, and even taking our trash cans to the road. It gave us such peace of mind knowing Milo and our home were in such good hands. We came back to a happy kitty and everything just as we left it. Highly recommend Natalie. We’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Elyse was fantastic! She was promot and attentive and deserves every star times two! For each of our little kitty babies. 😺 would 10 out of 10 book again.”

About: I have spent years taking care of my friend’s cats, and I understand how to be patient and let each individual cat come to me when they feel comfortable. Some want to play and some want their space. No matter what you need, we will take great care of your furry friend!
“Minh always goes above and beyond to take care of our babies!! This is our fifth time booking with her and she did an amazing job as always, going the extra mile in everything she did!! Thank you Minh!!”

“Blair was great! She sent me many photos and comments of my kitties from each visit. One of my cats is diabetic and needs two shots of insulin a day, and she did a great job! He came right to her and loved up on her!”

“Avery was amazing! She took such great care of our girls while we were away and was super sweet, patient, and reliable. She handled giving medication with no issues at all and kept us updated with photos which helped us being away from them. We’d absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and responsible sitter!!”

“We are so glad we found Anna! She is just the sweetest person and our cats love her (and one of our cats doesn’t like anyone!). Anna is flexible, punctual, and a great communicator. Highly recommend her and we will be using her again!”

“Mylene was absolutely amazing for our kittens. Our cat got sick a few days before our 9 day trip and Mylene was so flexible changing times to accommodate his needs and giving him meds even though it was not part of the original plan. She was so kind and made sure we know he was loved and well taken care of. I was so thoroughly impressed with her the entire time, and we plan to leave her with our cats again in the future. Don’t hesitate- book Mylene!”

“Shannon is incredibly reliable for my older cat that requires meds and more finicky food dispensing. She’s very communicative and sends pics often. We love having her take care of our kitty!”

“This duo makes our tris amazing. They are the best, we have been using them with our 3 himalayans for a while now and they are always on time, dependable, send lots of pics and we have piece of mind knowing our furbabies are well taken care of. The best!❤️🙏🏻”

“Andy is always nice and sincere. He gets along with my shy cats. They recognize him and lets Andy pet them and brush them. He has been a lifesaver when I need to go out of town.”

“Gabrielle is an excellent caregiver for our older, diabetic cat. She demonstrates patience and commitment especially when our cat is less than cooperative with getting his insulin (under Gabrielle’s care he has never missed a dose)! Gabrielle is very dependable and professional. She gives me such “peace of mind” whenever I travel (she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure my “fur baby” has exactly what he needs). I highly recommend Gabrielle if you are searching for an excellent animal caregiver!”

“I highly recommend Elizabeth and Kevin. I really liked how we had a quick meet and greet before Maximus staying there. Great communication throughout the process and the day he was there. Plenty of pictures and for a first time stay, I had no worries, which speaks volumes. 100% he will be coming back. :)”

“Alicia & Don are a sweet and very nice couple. They took care of my sweet boy and he was very happy. They keep me update and sent me pics of my boy. I am so happy o was able to find a nice family to take care of my boy when I need it.”

About: I’ve been working with dogs for 6 years, but they’ve been my biggest passion since I was little. I have a certification in dog training, have taken a first aid class, and have experience with all kinds of pups! Dogs are my full-time job, which means your pup gets all of my time and attention! My day revolves around the care of my furr-ends! I have a fenced in yard and have a room in my home dedicated to the care of my clients! I have large comfy kennel spaces for each of my guests but if your pup happens to be social and non-destructive I would allow them to free-roam!
“I can safely say that out of all, Summer stood out the best. She was polite, timely and easy to work with. Highly recommend here and will absolutely use her services if we are in the area again!!!”

About: I am a total dog lover! My husband and I rescued our dog Roscoe almost 6 years ago. He is one of the most spoiled dogs I know and is a huge mama’s boy. We enjoy hiking together, and going on walks and for runs along the local greenways in Charlotte and in the neighborhood. He enjoys having other dogs to play with and we pet sit for a few friends and neighbors when they go on vacation, having their dog come and spend time in our home. They always get excited when I pick them up and go home tired from all our walks and outdoor play in our fenced in yard. I send pictures and updates daily. We love spending time playing with other dogs, especially Roscoe! I’m a special education teacher and my husband works in the restaurant business, so he’s home most days and I’m home after school and evenings. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly, playful dog to keep your fur baby active. We are happy to crate your dog when we are not here/at night if this is what they’re used to. Otherwise, we block the stairs off when we need to leave with Roscoe upstairs and your pet downstairs.
“Dana was the best! She was flexible with our schedule and sent multiple updates throughout the day. Milo had a great day playing in her backyard with the other dogs she had and came home tired and happy!!”

About: I am retired, have trained and shown dogs for over fifty years, live in a condo with one sheltie and one cat. I like to sit ONE dog at a time so it can have special one on one attention. Special arrangements can be made with two dogs that are from the same family. My floors are tile and I sterilize them between visits. I do NOT have a fenced yard but we have a 20 x 80 fenced dog run right outside my back door and we walk every two to three hours and once during the night. Since I am retired, I can be with your dog 24/7 with small exceptions. The dogs are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. I do insist that dogs be house trained and crate trained since we feed in crates or crate them if I have to be away. If you want personal care and attention for your dog, we would love to supply that service. We do NOT do meet and greets. We find that those brief encounters simply put stress on my dogs and yours. I take about an hour when a dog has arrived to acclimate him safely and comfortably. I only care for small dogs, under 30 pounds, and no puppies. Since I am retired, my schedule is pretty much staying around the house. There are no children and things are pretty quiet most of the time. “Tina is a wonderful sitter! Our girl, Ripley, loved her and kept giving her lots of kisses when we picked her up so we know she had a great time. She keeps you updated and sends pics, which we really appreciated. We will def book with her again.”

About: Most of my life I have had pets, I love having them with me, play with them and give them affection and love. For me they are part of the family and I treat them like children. I have enough time to dedicate myself to them and take care of them as they deserve. When you leave me in their care, I dedicate myself to their exclusive care so that they are protected. I always keep them with me where I am safely and inside my house. When I'm with them, they are my priority. Having them by my side fills me with tranquility and company.
“Absolutely the best!!!! My pups were well taken care of. I received wonderful photos well me and hubby were out attending a birthday celebration for our two grandchildren two hors away. I highly recommend and will definitely use again if before September. Since they are making a move to Texas. We wish them well and really wish they were staying and had used them sooner. Thank you for loving our babies.”

“Sandra is very communicative and reliable! Bingo had a great visit for daycare with her. She sent many pics and videos so I knew he was well taken care of. Will definitely book again!!”

About: I had dogs growing up and got our own rescue dog 6 years ago. I prefer older dogs who like a quiet home. I understand dogs that every dog has their own quirks and embrace that. I work from home so am always around minus trips to the gym or errands. Morning breakfast, several potty breaks. Dinner at anytime that suits the pup. I have a 10 year old grumpy rat terrier/chi mix. He seems scary at first but once we can sniff another dog he calms down and coexists with other calm dogs just fine.

“This is our second time using JaXx, and it’s been great! Love the updates and the attention that she gives out little Yadi. We plan on making her part of the family! Highly recommend.”

“Sheila was awesome with my dog Walter. She was very patient and eager to learn about him and his quirks. She was very patient and gave Walter time to acclimate to the environment slowly. I would definitely recommend her to care for your pup!!”

About: I have been caring for dogs since 2018. I am passionate about the work I do and take care to be nurturing and compassionate toward all dogs and pets. I care for dogs at all life stages. I am comfortable giving medications. I am phyically fit for walks and playing. I can feed your dog and stay to make sure he/she eats. I will give your dogs the love and attention I would give my own. I am retired and have the necessary time to spend with your pets. I have the flexibility tovwork with your dog's unique schedule and needs. I am good for spur of the moment needs , as well as planned assignments. I have a fenced in backyard and a small dog of my own to keep your fur babies entertained. I can walk them up my street and and play with them in my backyard. I can also walk and play with your dogs at your home for drop in appointments. While I am there or in my own home, I can feed your dogs and stay with them to ensure they eat. I can also give medications, and I will strive to treat your dogs with dignity and respect.
“This was our first time using Alicia and the Rover site for our yellow lab Abby. Alicia was great to work with - super responsive and very helpful making sure Abby was comfortable with the other dogs who were also there. We came over for a meet and greet beforehand, and that was very helpful in getting her acclimated to the yard and house. There’s plenty of space for the dogs to play and explore and Abby had a great time! We will be back the next time we need a “home away from home” for her to stay!”

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Hemby Bridge

About: Since my teenage years, I’ve been paid to house sit and do drop ins for the pets of friends and family, in addition to growing up with a family dog, Darla. After she eventually passed, in 2018 my family adopted Millie, a beagle-mix who is a lover of walks and still full of surprises after almost seven years! She has taught me so much about the way dogs communicate and what they need from us to live their best lives. I’m so lucky that through Rover I can continue to learn more about such special companions while caring for your V.I.P (Very Important Pupper)! I am a recent college graduate and back in my hometown for the moment. I keep a pretty flexible schedule at the moment but I’ll always be prompt about letting you know when/if there are any schedule conflicts. I think an important part of building trust with a client is sending them regular updates such as photos or videos of their pet(s) in addition to a report on how they’ve been doing. Trusting others to care for your pet is hard, especially if you don’t know the sitter or walker personally. Things like that are how I try to ensure that a client knows they are getting the service they paid for and that their pet(s) are well looked after.
About: I work from home and would love an excuse to get up from my desk and what better excuse than to get some puppy and dog cuddles while also getting exercise by walking. I currently have a corporate work from home job that requires me to be at a desk. This type of schedule fits into my routine because it allows me to visit pets before starting work, at lunch or breaks, and also after work. My schedule is very flexible that I can meet you where you need it. I am very detail oriented and a huge pet lover at heart so when I am visiting your house, I respect the house rules and follow instructions to a T. I also am very high energy due to ADHD and am a great partner for fetch and walks.
About: I have taken care of and pet sat mat dogs of different sizes from a big German shepherd to a tinny little Chihuahua so there is no dog to big or to small for me to take care of I just graduated high school and am applying to college but I won’t be able to go until next year so until then I’ll be free the whole year unless my family needs me When it comes to taking care of any pets even my own I make sure to keep them on the same schedule they are used to as to make sure they don’t get stressed I also make sure to set alarms for set feeding times of any animal I watch over as well as playing with them and taking them out to use the bath room as needed I also will make sure that if I pet sit over night at someone’s house that the house will be perfectly clean when they come back and that there animal will be happy no matter what.

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with five dogs, and I got my first cat about 10 years ago. I originally had allergies to cats, but over time I was able to build up a tolerance, and cats have been a huge part of my life ever since! I’ve cared for all different kinds of cats, including cats with special needs, so I understand that every animal has their own personality, routines, and individual needs. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to take the time to make an animal feel comfortable and safe. I also have experience caring for chickens and other animals, and I’ve cared for a Husky who was on a raw-meat diet. I’m comfortable following specific feeding instructions and routines, and I understand how important consistency is for pets. One of my favorite experiences was caring for that Husky and taking her on trails every day. I genuinely enjoy being active with dogs and making sure they get the exercise, stimulation, and attention they need. Whether your pet is energetic and adventurous, shy and takes some time to warm up, or needs a little extra care, I’d love to help. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away—and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. 🐾 I currently work online, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to care for your pets without being tied to a traditional work schedule. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and make sure they receive the same care, attention, and consistency they’re used to at home. I love keeping pets in their normal routine and following a clear plan for meals, bathroom breaks, medications, and any special dietary needs. I’m happy to give them plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, and attention so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I also have experience helping puppies with leash walking, crate training, and learning not to jump when guests arrive. For cats, I’ve cared for both indoor and outdoor cats, kept litter boxes clean, and made sure their space stays clean and comfortable. Tell me their favorite toys, activities, routines, and little quirks—I’m happy to keep them happy and cared for just the way they’re used to. 🤍
About: I’ve owned dogs and also help care for my neighbors and family members dogs when they go out of town. Not in a situation to have my own right now sadly, I’d love to hang out with yours! :) we also have a sweet 10 year old cat that we’ve had since he was just a couple months old, we are cat people just as much as dog people, I’d love to come drop in and hang with your kitty. For the summer time I do have my almost 6 year old daughter and my 3 year old son with me. They are both very respectful of dogs and cats. However if your pet is not good with kids I am available after 5 pm on weekdays and mostly all weekend days. I will keep your pet safe and abide by what you ask of me! Like I said, I truly love animals. I will do all that I can to make them feel loved, safe and cared for while you’re gone. ☺️
About: Animals respond well to my calm, confident energy. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine, so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I treat every pet like my own—with love, respect, and lots of belly rubs! I’m available weekday mornings from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM and evenings from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM—perfect for early walks, dinner visits, or bedtime check-ins. Weekends are fully open, so I can accommodate a wide range of pet care needs, including daytime visits, overnights, and extended stays. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, playtime, and medication instructions exactly as provided, and I make sure your pet gets plenty of love and attention!
“Kelsey is AMAZING!! I was in a bind and needed my dog walked for his morning constitutional. Kelsey was available and was at my house within 20 minutes. Baxter (and I) just loved her. She so sweet and I will definitely book her in the future! Baxter kept running window to window looking for her when she left. She made a friend for life with him! Kelsey, I can’t say thank you enough for your help today!!”

“Erica is AMAZING. She is so good with our dog and definitely keeps him active! She really maintains our training regimen and enforces what we’ve been working on with the dog. She’s our new go-to for walks and exercise!”

About: Years ago, my mother and I owned a boarding kennel and I was a professional groomer. Now I am semi-retired and loving spending time with furry friends! I am familiar with all breeds and love them all! We have always had a pet in our home and would love to provide care while you have to be away. I currently work outside the home for a partial day on Mondays. Other than errands and appointments, I am home all day to interact with your fur baby! Should an emergency come up, I am available. All our furry guests are treated like family. We have a large fenced in yard with no steps for the older fur babies. We own a cat that pretty much keeps to herself. We are good with pets of all ages and understand they all need different levels of care. We are empty nesters, so have the time and energy to keep up with any needs your pet may have. With the exception of Mondays, someone is home all day to provide personal care and supervision for your pet. Mondays Alice works outside the home for a partial day and pets would need to be left alone for 4-6 hours, or she would need to be able to bring your pet (only one) to work with her. Both Alice and Don love animals and provide a nurturing and loving environment for your pet in their home with regular potty breaks in their fenced in back yard.

“Gabe was absolutely fantastic with our baby girl! Nala loves to be stubborn on walks and protest when she doesn’t want to leave or walk in a certain direction and Gabe was so patient and loving with her until she decided she wanted to walk again. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

I am a 4.0 college athlete that loves to be active and helpful in any way I can! I am free throughout the day as I am back from college for summer break. About: I've been caring for pets of all sizes since I was a kid — dogs, cats, bearded dragons, and fish. I have two dogs of my own and have pet sat for neighbors, friends, and family for years, handling everything from energetic puppies to calm seniors. I'm comfortable with all breeds and sizes, and I always treat every pet like my own. This summer I'm dedicated to pet care and have a flexible schedule built around your needs. I also babysit, so I do have some bookings to work around — but I’m great at coordinating and will always make sure your pet gets consistent, reliable care. Mornings, afternoons, and evenings are generally available. Just message me, and we’ll find what works! I always visit your pet in your own home so they stay comfortable in their familiar space. I follow your routines closely — feeding schedules, medications, quirks, and all. I'm detail-oriented by nature (I'm a pharmacy student!), and you can count on me to send updates and photos so you always know your pet is happy and safe.

“Tucker had the best weekend with Carolina and her sweet girls! They were so kind and welcoming, and the video updates throughout his time there were wonderful. She was wonderful!”

“Albina is a great sitter. Very responsive. She has a fenced in backyard and our lab loves playing with her lab in the backyard. She will keep you updated on your pet with pictures and videos. Her kids loved on my dog.”

“Alyssa and her husband did an awesome job with Marlowe! They truly listened to my instructions and made Marlowe feel comfortable! They took photos and kept me updated and showed just how my pup son was a happy camper!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better host for our pup, Chloe! From the moment we dropped her off, we felt completely at ease. Daniel sent wonderful updates and pictures time to time, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Kids were always happy to see her updates. Chloe had the best time playing with their two dogs and made good friends, Arlo and Deebo—they were friendly and welcoming to her from the start! She came home happy, relaxed, and well-cared for. We are already looking forward to booking with them again!”

“Deborah was great taking care of Luna! She definitely understands dogs and I knew Luna was in good hands while I was traveling for work. She was attentive, responsive - I plan to book her again in the future.”

“Amy sent several pictures and updates throughout Olive's stay and was very responsive. I felt very comfortable that Olive was taken care of and would definitely use them again.”

“Cami took very good care of my dog. She sent pictures to me. Normally my dog eats very little when he isn’t home. Cami got him to eat all of his food. I can tell that he was well taken care.”

“Janice W treats her boarders with the same level of love as if it was her own dog. Her house is set up to be a dog resort. She has everything a dog would want to include toys and treats. Janice would text us with updates on how our Hetman was doing to include pictures. Hetman was on some medications and she would notify us when the pills were given. She is one of a kind and we would have no hesitation in boarding our dog with her again. Our Hetman was returned to us a very happy dog.”

“Cocoa and Stormie enjoyed their stay. We never leave them anyplace and they don’t do well in boarding camps. But we felt like there were right at home and were very well taken care of. They will be staying there again.”

“I was so nervous leaving my Snoop with someone for the first time and Hope made things so much better. She sent pictures and messages the whole time! Snoop loved it I will definitely use her again if I need to!”

“Just is amazing 🙌🏼🩷 Not only keeping and wonderful fun and peaceful place for the pups, but her personal demeanor is absolutely lovely as well! She understands dogs greatly and you can be sure your best friends are safe with her!”
