About: I am a dog lover and empath with 2 rescue pitbulls of my own. They’re favorite cousin is a chihuahua. I’ve loved and taken care of large and small dogs for most of my life. I’m a home-body. I work from home and so my availability is very flexible and basically spend majority of my day and week with my pets..I’m happy to make time for yours. I signed up for Rover to get out of the house and get some extra exercise - What could be more motivating than meeting and hanging out with more furbabies I’m very sensitive to pet’s mood and natural anxieties and so I don’t take unnecessary risks. Any boarded pets would have their own private bedroom and will be kept separate even for potty breaks in my fenced yard.

About: I’m new to rover, but I’m anything but new to pet care! I grew up taking care of all sorts of animals — goats, ferrets, guinea pigs, lizards, you name it! You can also trust me to never take on more pets than I can handle just for the sake of the money, because my main objective is to provide excellent care above all else! We have one medium-sized dog, but he stays with “grandma and grandpa” while I am pet sitting unless of course you request for your pet to have some company!

About: Since being a teenager, I’ve been paid to house sit and do drop ins for the pets of friends and family, in addition to growing up with a family dog, Darla. After Darla eventually passed from old age, in 2018 my family adopted Millie, a beagle-mix who is a lover of walks and still full of surprises after almost seven years! Now that I’m back at school and away from my own dog, I’d love to help support pet owners who need dog walking services or drop in visits! I am currently a student at UNCG, and have class on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I’m still available on those days during specific times, but am almost always available on Wednesdays, and the weekend (FriSatSun). I think an important part of building trust with a client is sending them regular updates such as photos or videos of their pet(s) in addition to a report on how they’ve been doing. Trusting others to care for your pet is hard, especially if you don’t know the sitter or walker personally. About: I’ve had a special love for animals for as long as I can remember, it’s truly been a part of who I am since I was very young. Some of my earliest memories are of picking up worms off the road to keep them from being run over, because even then, I cared deeply about protecting their little lives! About: Years ago, my mother and I owned a boarding kennel and I was a professional groomer. Now I am semi-retired and loving spending time with furry friends! I am familiar with all breeds and love them all! We have always had a pet in our home and would love to provide care while you have to be away. I currently work outside the home for a partial day on Mondays. Other than errands and appointments, I am home all day to interact with your fur baby! Should an emergency come up, I am available. All our furry guests are treated like family. We have a large fenced in yard with no steps for the older fur babies. We own a cat that pretty much keeps to herself. We are good with pets of all ages and understand they all need different levels of care. We are empty nesters, so have the time and energy to keep up with any needs your pet may have. With the exception of Mondays, someone is home all day to provide personal care and supervision for your pet. Mondays Alice works outside the home for a partial day and pets would need to be left alone for 4-6 hours, or she would need to be able to bring your pet (only one) to work with her. Both Alice and Don love animals and provide a nurturing and loving environment for your pet in their home with regular potty breaks in their fenced in back yard.

We were so lucky that we found Clayton and his family. He was very easy to communicate, prompt to respond, had a meet & greet with us as soon as we contacted him. Bear even had a play date with his dogs prior to the stay as I was very nervous it would work out. Bear had a blast over Clayton's house. We will definitely send Bear there again. Thank you again!!!”
