About: Hi! I'm a dependable, caring dog lover with over five years of experience caring for dogs for military families. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pet, especially during vacations, moves, or busy schedules. My goal is to provide the same love, attention, and care that your dog receives at home. Every dog has their own personality and routine, so I tailor my care to meet their individual needs. Whether it's walks, playtime as directed, or overnight stays, I'll make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. As a military veteran, my schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday care. Whether your dog needs a quick drop-in visit, daily walks, or overnight care, I'm committed to being dependable and providing the same level of dedication and trust that I valued throughout my military service. Your pet's safety, routine, and well-being are always my top priorities. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. When I need to step away, dogs are safely crated (if crate-trained and according to your preferences) to ensure they remain secure. While I'm home, I provide attentive supervision and am always aware of what each dog is doing to help prevent accidents and ensure everyone gets along. I closely follow each pet's routine, provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection, and treat every dog with the same care and respect I would give my own.

About: I’ve trained 3 of my own puppies as well as crate trained a few. I’ve loved 6 dogs and 3 cats throughout my lifetime and can’t wait to meet yours! I currently am unable to work a traditional job due to health reasons so you can rest assured all my attention will be on your animals. I have a fenced in yard, a surplus of treats, toys, and beds, as well as a friendly dog and cat you can chose to have you pet play with or a private space in my home where they will have toys, food, water, and entertainment with regular checkups, potty breaks and outside time.

“Dennise was a joy to work with. Our plans were a bit up in the air and Dennise was so easy to work with and accommodating with our ever changing schedule. I highly recommend her services.”

“Caprielle is a lifesaver! She walks Gucci and stepped in last minute to puppy-sit both of our boys so we could run errands stress-free. She’s reliable, dependable and so friendly! We’re so grateful for her and highly recommend!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
