He even printed out a few for us to have for frames, which was so thoughtful and sweet! I could tell our dogs had a great time with him and I felt great about having him there watching them. About: Hey, I’m Doug. I’ve had dogs pretty much my whole life and can’t imagine it any other way. I’ve owned and loved several different breeds over the years, and right now I share my home with a big, lovable German Shepherd and a 16 year old calico cat who has a lot of sass and attitude. I’m also a dad of two, and while my kids are in school I’m looking to earn some extra income doing something I genuinely enjoy. I love being outside, going on long walks, throwing the ball until your dog is tired before I am, and ending the day with plenty of snuggles. I’m very responsible and take pet care seriously, but I also try to keep things easy and fun. I’ll always keep you in the loop with updates and photos so you know your pet is happy, safe, and getting lots of attention. If you’re looking for someone who treats your pets like they’re part of the family, I’d love to help out. I’m primarily available on weekdays between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, which lines up well with mid day check ins, drop ins, and visits while you’re at work. I’m also available some evenings, depending on the day. I’m a parent of two, so I focus on providing reliable care during school hours and select evenings when I can give your pet my full attention. If you have a schedule question or a special request, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to talk through what might work best. When I’m caring for pets in your home, I try to keep things as close to their normal routine as possible. I know how important familiarity is, especially when their people are away. I follow your instructions closely when it comes to feeding, medication, litter box care, playtime, and any little quirks your pet might have. I always make sure your home is left just as I found it. Food and water areas stay clean, litter boxes are scooped, and I do a quick check to make sure everything looks safe and secure before I leave. I also spend time with your pet based on what they’re comfortable with, whether that’s playtime, gentle attention, or just calm company. I’ll keep you updated with notes and photos so you know how things are going and can feel at ease while you’re away. My goal is for you to feel confident that both your pet and your home are being well cared for.

“Heather watched my condo and senior pup, Rusty, overnight for 4 days. Rusty is 13, has a heart murmur, is blind in one eye and has very limited sight out of the other eye. A few days before our planned trip my Rusty’s heart murmur increased to a grade 5 and he went on heart medication twice per day. Heather watched over him and kept a very detailed care diary for me since it was his first week on the medication. She was very communicative and sent lots of photos throughout their time together. Heather really put me at ease and gave me peace of mind leaving Rusty for a few days after some medical changes. Rusty really seemed at ease with her. I cannot sing her praises enough. I will definitely book with her again.”
