About: Hello, my name is Lara. I am a long-time educator with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools with 22 years of experience teaching at the elementary and middle school levels. I have lived in the Charlotte area for 38 years and know how important it is to have people who you can trust and rely on in your circle. As a teacher, responsibility, professionalism, communication and timeliness are a part of who I am every day. I bring that level of professionalism to every aspect of house sitting and pet sitting. I have raised two children in Charlotte and currently have two human grandchildren, four dog grands, two cat grands and two lizard grands. Throughout the years I have cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, horses, ferrets and pet mice. I am comfortable with feeding routines, long or short walks, administering basic care, providing enrichment, cleaning litter boxes and providing companionship while you are away. I work Monday through Friday, 7:30 to 5:00, in the Concord Mills area. Due to my teaching schedule I would be best suited for: Overnight house sitting Vacation pet sitting Early morning and evening pet care Weekend care Pets that are comfortable being alone during a standard workday I currently work full time with a consistent schedule every day of the week. I get up at 5:00 am and at work by 7:30. My mornings are generally time to prepare for the day ahead and would include a walk if desired, feeding, enrichment and time for cuddles if needed. I return at the end of my work day and will provide a walk, enrichment based on your pet’s preferences, feeding and any needed cleaning. If I am staying at your home there will be additional time before the bedtime routine for time spent together. My general rule for care is always to be safe first and foremost. That means all doors, gates and fences checked when in an area. The yard is checked for safety before we go outside and walks are always on leash with a back up leash for emergencies. I follow your pet’s schedule and your house rules. I am at your home to keep your pet safe and comfortable until you return. This includes multiple times that I will communicate with you daily. Your pet’s safety, comfort and your peace of mind are my goals.

About: I’ve pet sit for family, friends, and neighbors for years (Up to 5-6 dogs at a time), I also have 3 dogs and a cat with my family, one of which is elderly. I’ve had experience caring for elderly dogs/cats on medication and puppies. I value high-quality service and transparency especially with our pets! I am a college student with a part time job, but with classes I’m very open in the mornings & available midday. Week day nights might vary but more details can/will be provided. Available at any time on weekends. About: Im home full time so endless attention for your pet. Ive grown up with dogs my entire life & love to care for them. I own 3 dogs. 1 small maltipoo male dog & 1 small yorkie female. I own 1 45 pd pit bull mix female who is very friendly and not dog aggressive at all. I love to play outside with the dogs whenever possible. Im comfortable with pretty much any breed of dog as long as they are kid friendly. I live in a great dog friendly neighborhood for me to walk & exercise the dogs. Your pet will be treated as family in my home. I love puppies and the energy they bring. The dogs will have free roam of the house while I'm at home & will stick to the schedule you have for them as much as possible. For everyone's safety if and when I do leave to run errands I do crate all animals. You will need to provide your own crate along with food and water bowls. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby. Thanks I work from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and exercise throughout the day. I plan my schedule around the pets in my care to ensure they receive consistent walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of love—from morning potty breaks to evening wind-downs. 🐾 I care for every pet as if they were my own by following their usual routine as closely as possible. In my home, pets have a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of supervision, playtime, walks, and attention throughout the day since I work from home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to stick to their feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special instructions so pets feel comfortable and stress-free while their owners are away. I also provide lots of affection and updates so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs all my life and have consistently been a primary caregiver. This ranges for when they were puppies/kittens all the way to senior age. I’ve also spent decent amounts of time the past two years pet sitting dogs and cats of various ages for friends and family! I’m currently in between undergraduate and graduate school so I currently just do online gig work. I make my own schedule so my availability is essentially wide open. In your home I’m always going to be very cognizant of the animals needs and their comfortability. If your pet needs exercise I am in great cardio shape and frequently run so I am always open to going on runs with your dog if they are high energy! I’m also very familiar with leashes and harnesses so if you don’t have fencing or if your pet is used to only going potty with a leash I am ready for that. I also love cats and will always make sure they get lots of love and attention!
