About: I raised my Shih Tzu from 3 months up until I lost him to kidney disease on 9/11/2024. I walked him on a regular basis except rainy days (he hated getting wet lol), he was potty trained and free to roam the house while I was not home. Everyone ( family, friends, neighbors) knew how much I loved and cared for him. When he was in his last days from kidney failure, I stayed by his side until the end. I kept his routine the same. I pushed him in his stroller when he could not walk anymore. Administered him an IV daily to keep him hydrated when he barely ate and drank. I laid with him and held him until he let me know it was time for him to go to that Rainbow Bridge. As a newly retired person, I have plenty of time to give your furry friend(s) all the love, walks, and attention they need and deserve. Whether in my home or a clients, I provide a comfortable environment with meals, walks, playtime and companionship. I follow their routines as instructed to keep them happy and comfortable.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life (4 dogs and 5 cats to be exact!) I currently have 2 orange cats who I am mildly obsessed with. I work from home in the Matthews area and would love to drop by to see your pets during the day or to give you peace of mind while you’re away. About: I had dogs growing up and got our own rescue dog 6 years ago. I prefer older dogs who like a quiet home. I understand dogs that every dog has their own quirks and embrace that. I work from home so am always around minus trips to the gym or errands. Morning breakfast, several potty breaks. Dinner at anytime that suits the pup. I have a 10 year old grumpy rat terrier/chi mix. He seems scary at first but once we can sniff another dog he calms down and coexists with other calm dogs just fine.

About: Hello, I have had a dog since I was a little girl that I helped take care of back home until I moved away to college. I miss taking care of my dog. Feeding them, bathing them, & taking them on walks. I work remote most days so I’m pretty flexible with my time. I will be able to pour a lot of time into the dogs. About: Hello, Rover world! My name is Gerardo, and I am the proud human to Elle and Tayter Dot. I am here to find fun playmates for my girls by hosting your pets. Since I'm already a dog parent, I'm already doing the dog routine - feeding, walking, playing, etc. Adding your pup to the routine will be pretty natural as a result. Hubs and I work from home, so we are actively spending time with your dog no matter what! We ask that your pet be housebroken. If they have a crate, we can add that to our routine, though our girls have full reign of the house. (It's their house, I just live in it.) Your pet can expect fresh water, a clean home, a yard to run in, and lots of treats. (Maybe also a weird dog voice...sorry not sorry!) For the safety of all involved, we require a meet and greet as it is our best way to vet how your dog will get along with ours. I do my best to walk the girls more than once a day. We are regulars at various trails and greenways, as well as hanging with other friends and their dogs. My spouse and I are attentive to the needs of our girls, and will treat your dog like one of our own. You can expect your dog to be loved on, with lots of fetch in the yard, snuggles on the couch, and homemade treats for all. We also both work from home so your dog will have human and canine company through their visit.

We have experience with day boarding, play dates, dog walking, overnight boarding, and long term boarding up to 6 weeks in length. Your dog will be in our care the entire time. I also live with my partner, Denard, who will occasionally assist with potty breaks for your dog if I need to be out of the house for an extended period 8+ hours, or I’m the case of emergencies. ** HOUSE-SITTING ** When providing house-sitting, I will be staying overnight in your home and will be following your pups schedule to maintain as much consistency in their routine as possible. The rate listed on my profile for house-sitting care includes: Care in home from 7pm - 7am with a mid-morning and mid-afternoon drop-in. If your pet needs constant care (your dog cannot be left alone for more than 2 hours at a time, OR 2 hours total over the course of the day), the rate is $125/day.
