“Laura was amazing. Kept us informed on everything and sent lots of pics. She even made collars for our babies. That was so nice and sweet of her. She kept the house clean and followed all the instructions on the care that they require.”

“Thank you so much for caring and taking care of our cats!!! I really appreciate you caring about their safety and wellbeing as much as we do, and I genuinely appreciate all of the communications and pictures. We will definitely use you again!”

About: I’ve pet sit for family, friends, and neighbors for years (Up to 5-6 dogs at a time), I also have 3 dogs and a cat with my family, one of which is elderly. I’ve had experience caring for elderly dogs/cats on medication and puppies. I value high-quality service and transparency especially with our pets! I am a college student with a part time job, but with classes I’m very open in the mornings & available midday. Week day nights might vary but more details can/will be provided. Available at any time on weekends. I always try to build a relationship with the pets I am caring for, I also try to provide as many updates and send pictures possible for clients so they know their pet is being loved and spoiled. If there were ever a concern in terms of behavior or medical emergency, client can expect the most immediate communication.
“We were visiting Damascus VA to bike the VA Creeper Trail and needed someone to stay in our camper with our dog because he has some separation issues. She was there on time, he immediately went to her. She was friendly and caring. When we returned three hours later, he was happy, wagging and tired. She relieved our minds so we could do what we planned and know our pup was in good hands. Highly recommend.”

“Jeffrey was amazing with our puppy! It was our first time leaving her and we were super nervous about it. Jeffrey communicated everything and sent reassuring photos while we were away. Our puppy loved Jeffrey and we are already looking to book him again!”

“Cameron did a fantastic job taking care of both my home and my tiny fury overlords! He took the time to get to know them, and I swear I think they were disappointed when I came back and Cameron left. 🤷🏼♂️ Will 100% be hiring him again for my upcoming trips.”
“Catherine took great care me of our dog and communicated well and sent pictures during her five night stay. The house was in good shape and everything in order. I would definitely use her again.”

“Philip and Mallory are very friendly and easy to talk to, and took excellent care of my pup at my house. I got so many pictures and updates and I never had to worry my pup wasn’t being taken care of. My house was also in perfect condition when I returned, and they even washed the used bed sheets and towels. I will definitely use them in the future and you should too!”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs all my life and have consistently been a primary caregiver. This ranges for when they were puppies/kittens all the way to senior age. I’ve also spent decent amounts of time the past two years pet sitting dogs and cats of various ages for friends and family! I’m currently in between undergraduate and graduate school so I currently just do online gig work. I make my own schedule so my availability is essentially wide open. In your home I’m always going to be very cognizant of the animals needs and their comfortability. If your pet needs exercise I am in great cardio shape and frequently run so I am always open to going on runs with your dog if they are high energy! I’m also very familiar with leashes and harnesses so if you don’t have fencing or if your pet is used to only going potty with a leash I am ready for that. I also love cats and will always make sure they get lots of love and attention!

About: I started pet and house sitting in 2015 and have loved caring for furry, feathered, and even scale-y friends ever since. As a farm kid through and through, I'm comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes and have experience caring for nearly every type of pet you can imagine. I don't shy away from big animals (or big messes!) I recently completed my graduate degree and became a nationally certified Physician Assistant. While my training is in human medicine, I have experience caring for pets with complex medical needs, including administering injections, medications, and subcutaneous fluids. I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and attentive caring for your pets, especially when they require extra support. At home, I share my life with two cats, Winston and Franklin, one of whom is an FIP survivor. That experience has given me a firsthand appreciation for the trust pet owners place in their caregivers and the peace of mind that comes from knowing your pets are in capable hands. If you're looking for a responsible, dependable professional to keep your pets happy, healthy, and loved while you're away, I'd be honored to help. Having recently completed graduate school, I currently have a very flexible schedule and can devote substantial time to caring for your pets. This allows me to provide attentive, personalized care and maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible. While I am currently unable to board pets, I am happy to provide care in the environment where your pet is most comfortable- their own home! I strive to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and plenty of companionship. I treat every home with the same respect and care that I would my own, and I understand the trust involved in leaving both your pets and your home in someone else's hands. My goal is to ensure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, so you can travel with peace of mind.
About: I prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort by providing a secure environment in both my home and yours. I follow your pet’s routine, ensure medications are administered as needed, and keep a close eye on their well-being. In your home, I respect your space, keeping everything tidy and secure. My goal is to ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and relaxed while you’re away. Pet care is a priority in my daily routine, and I always make time for the pets I care for. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide consistent care, whether it’s multiple visits per day or extended overnight stays. I ensure your pet gets the attention they need, whether it’s for walks, playtime, or just companionship. I tailor my schedule to meet your pet’s specific needs, so they always feel comfortable and well-cared for. I am a dedicated pet sitter with a passion for caring for cats and dogs. I have experience administering medications, maintaining routines, and providing extra attention to senior pets or those with special needs. Taking care of your furry friends and making sure they feel loved and keeping your cat’s environment clean and stress-free, I go above and beyond to ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are my top priority!
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life from my own pets to pets of friends and family, which includes being responsible for them from time to time. I’ve even had prior experience staying overnight and caring for animals that include dogs, cats, and chickens. I am a full time student in law school so my schedule depends on my classes and my school obligations for the week. However, I try hard to manage all bookings I get if the owners are willing to be flexible with times! I can care for your pet by walking them, playing with them, feeding them, hugging them, grooming them, and even staying with them overnight if that makes them more comfortable while you are away.

“Abby was great at helping my nervous, shy dog become comfortable and happy while I was gone. She cuddled with her, played with her, walked her and enjoyed her with friends in the neighborhood. She helped my sweet girl feel like everything was just as it would be if I would be there. She was a great dog sitter, and I would happily have her again.”

About: Hi there, I love animals and be assured your pup will be in great hands! My pet care experience consists of growing up with animals, Volunteering with dog rescue groups and animal kennels close by. This has allowed me to care for other animals as well. I also have many years in the healthcare profession, so your pup will definitely be in safe hands. We have 2 pups that were rescued , Sarah is 10 and River is 5 years old. Sarah was in a animal shelter in Concord looking for a home for almost a year. We also have another loving mix we rescued from abandonment in a small town east of here. I know how to provide the upmost care and professionalism to your little pup or big pup. **I have plenty of dog toys, blankets and a fenced yard to play! ! THEY DEFINITELY NEED TO FEEL SAFE AND COZY. Just ask me to send daily photos of your pup having a good time! 3 things I'd like to know: What's your pups favorite treat? Does your pup prefer the bed or the couch? Do you have a crate for your pup just in case? *I work at the school 3 days a wk/4 hours. I look forward to meeting you and your lovely pup. Thank you, Sharon 💝 I work half days 3 days a week at a elementary school so your pup will stay safe til I arrive back home after about 4 hours. If a crate is needed, just lmk! Im at my home throughout weekends so they will get all of my attention. ❤️ My home: I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can also crate my dogs if needed. Your home: Keeping your pup calm and at ease is very important to me. Whether he likes to sit on the couch or play outside, I can accommodate either way.

About: I love all animals, but dogs most of all. I grew up around larger breeds - my parents had pit bulls, boxers, and German shepherds. In my adult life, I've had mostly shar-pei and beagles. I currently have four rescued beagle mixes, as well as three cats. My pets are like my children, and I believe everyone's babies deserve to be treated as well as I treat mine! My purpose in life is helping as many dogs as I can to live their best life. That help comes in different forms - I network, foster, and transport with local rescues, and pet sit for a few friends. I'm also a former trainer with a large pet store. The best part of my workday was getting to see all the dogs that come in the store each day. Whether I encountered them as students or casual customers, I always did my best to make sure the dogs always left with the best products and advice for their health and happiness. I also volunteered and was hired to work at Stanly County Animal Protective Services, and was responsible for the day to day care of all the animals in the shelter - including feeding, walking, socializing, and providing any medications needed. Helping a dog to be more comfortable in the sometimes stressful shelter environment was always my main goal. Unfortunately, I had to leave the job due to health reasons. I'm no longer able to work full time, so sitting and walking with Rover seems like the perfect part time job for me! If I can cause a tail to wag, I consider it a good day. 🐾 I'm currently hoping to find work a few days a week, walking dogs or keeping them company in the afternoons primarily. Weekdays are when I'm most available, but I would be happy to discuss occasional nights or weekends if that's what you need! If you need to go out of town and can't take your furry friends with you, I'm also able to do multiple check-ins per day, or even stay in your home with your pets if you wish. Your rules are my rules! I will care for your pets in whatever way you tell me they're used to. They will eat, walk, etc on the schedule you have them on. If you don't have a fenced yard, I'll never take them outside without a leash, and only walk on your approved routes. If you have any off limits areas in your house, I will ensure they don't have access to them. Any medications will be administered promptly on their existing schedule. I want your dog to feel like you're there, even when you're not!
