About: I’ve always had pets, and started volunteering with a vet at 14 and continued until I left for college. For a time I worked as a ranch hand taking care of 8+ horses and a menagerie of other animals. I am also a fully trained dog groomer and currently work as a veterinary assistant. I am comfortable with my canine friends of all shapes, sizes, and life stages, including those with special needs including medication administration. I currently work 4 days weekly in Mount Pleasant, NC from 7:30am - 5:30pm with a one hour break mid-day and weekends off. My schedule allows me to see your pet at least twice daily (or up to three times depending on distance from my place of employment). I take care to establish a personal relationship with every pet that I meet. Every dog, cat, or fish have their own distinct personality and the better I know them, the more personalized care I can provide. I can feed, water, clean up after pets, administer medication, walk, groom (for an extra fee), and even work on any set training that you would like kept up. My biggest priority is keeping you and your pet happy and healthy.

About: I love all animals, but dogs most of all. I grew up around larger breeds - my parents had pit bulls, boxers, and German shepherds. In my adult life, I've had mostly shar-pei and beagles. I currently have four rescued beagle mixes, as well as three cats. My pets are like my children, and I believe everyone's babies deserve to be treated as well as I treat mine! My purpose in life is helping as many dogs as I can to live their best life. That help comes in different forms - I network, foster, and transport with local rescues, and pet sit for a few friends. I'm also a former trainer with a large pet store. The best part of my workday was getting to see all the dogs that come in the store each day. Whether I encountered them as students or casual customers, I always did my best to make sure the dogs always left with the best products and advice for their health and happiness. I also volunteered and was hired to work at Stanly County Animal Protective Services, and was responsible for the day to day care of all the animals in the shelter - including feeding, walking, socializing, and providing any medications needed. Helping a dog to be more comfortable in the sometimes stressful shelter environment was always my main goal. Unfortunately, I had to leave the job due to health reasons. I'm no longer able to work full time, so sitting and walking with Rover seems like the perfect part time job for me! If I can cause a tail to wag, I consider it a good day. 🐾 I'm currently hoping to find work a few days a week, walking dogs or keeping them company in the afternoons primarily. Weekdays are when I'm most available, but I would be happy to discuss occasional nights or weekends if that's what you need! If you need to go out of town and can't take your furry friends with you, I'm also able to do multiple check-ins per day, or even stay in your home with your pets if you wish. Your rules are my rules! I will care for your pets in whatever way you tell me they're used to. They will eat, walk, etc on the schedule you have them on. If you don't have a fenced yard, I'll never take them outside without a leash, and only walk on your approved routes. If you have any off limits areas in your house, I will ensure they don't have access to them. Any medications will be administered promptly on their existing schedule. I want your dog to feel like you're there, even when you're not!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life from my own pets to pets of friends and family, which includes being responsible for them from time to time. I’ve even had prior experience staying overnight and caring for animals that include dogs, cats, and chickens. I am a full time student in law school so my schedule depends on my classes and my school obligations for the week. However, I try hard to manage all bookings I get if the owners are willing to be flexible with times! I can care for your pet by walking them, playing with them, feeding them, hugging them, grooming them, and even staying with them overnight if that makes them more comfortable while you are away.

About: I have loved animals my entire life, always love meeting and caring for new animals and I take pride in making the animals around me feel loved, safe, and cared for while their owners are away I currently am working roughly 3 hours daily for 3 days a week and would love taking in animals on a day to day basis I live near a road that doesn’t typically have traffic (major side road in the country), but even still I always make sure to take dogs out on leashes to ensure their safety. I do have cats but they can be put away to ensure your animal doesn’t feel threatened or scared. I have a safe space with plenty of quiet for your animal to be crated if they are feeling stressed or just need some alone time

Cats are my specialty! I’m very experienced with feline behavior, shy cats and multi-cat households. I love making pets feel calm and comfortable while their owners are away. I also have experience caring for dogs with different energy levels and routines, including daily walks, companionship, and overnight care. In addition, I have hands on experience with tropical birds and understand the importance of patience, consistency and attention to detail when caring for exotic pets. What sets me apart is the genuine love and attention I give every animal! I take my time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, and comfort needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I am reliable, communicative, and committed to making pet parents feel confident while they’re away through regular updates and attentive care. I am currently a part-time worker at a local pharmacy and a Full-Time college student looking to make extra money while doing what I love. I am free at least 3-4 days a week, the more notice the better I can work around your preferred schedule. My preference is afternoons, however if mornings or nights are needed I can accommodate! I currently can not offer my personal living quarters for care, however I am able to travel up to 40 miles to stay with or check on pets. I will walk, feed, stay with, play with and care for various cats and dog breeds! I also have experience with tropical birds and fish if need be. I will clean up after all animals and leave your home tidy and neat, as well as provide updates at your desired time span i.e (Daily, Hourly, Etc.).
