About: I love all animals, but dogs most of all. I grew up around larger breeds - my parents had pit bulls, boxers, and German shepherds. In my adult life, I've had mostly shar-pei and beagles. I currently have four rescued beagle mixes, as well as three cats. My pets are like my children, and I believe everyone's babies deserve to be treated as well as I treat mine! My purpose in life is helping as many dogs as I can to live their best life. That help comes in different forms - I network, foster, and transport with local rescues, and pet sit for a few friends. I'm also a former trainer with a large pet store. The best part of my workday was getting to see all the dogs that come in the store each day. Whether I encountered them as students or casual customers, I always did my best to make sure the dogs always left with the best products and advice for their health and happiness. I also volunteered and was hired to work at Stanly County Animal Protective Services, and was responsible for the day to day care of all the animals in the shelter - including feeding, walking, socializing, and providing any medications needed. Helping a dog to be more comfortable in the sometimes stressful shelter environment was always my main goal. Unfortunately, I had to leave the job due to health reasons. I'm no longer able to work full time, so sitting and walking with Rover seems like the perfect part time job for me! If I can cause a tail to wag, I consider it a good day. 🐾 I'm currently hoping to find work a few days a week, walking dogs or keeping them company in the afternoons primarily. Weekdays are when I'm most available, but I would be happy to discuss occasional nights or weekends if that's what you need! If you need to go out of town and can't take your furry friends with you, I'm also able to do multiple check-ins per day, or even stay in your home with your pets if you wish. Your rules are my rules! I will care for your pets in whatever way you tell me they're used to. They will eat, walk, etc on the schedule you have them on. If you don't have a fenced yard, I'll never take them outside without a leash, and only walk on your approved routes. If you have any off limits areas in your house, I will ensure they don't have access to them. Any medications will be administered promptly on their existing schedule. I want your dog to feel like you're there, even when you're not!

About: I’ve lived with dogs since I can remember. I developed love an respect for animals from a young age. At home we had cocker spaniel, beagle, Shih Tzu, Siberian husky and mix breeds. About: I’ve always had pets, and started volunteering with a vet at 14 and continued until I left for college. For a time I worked as a ranch hand taking care of 8+ horses and a menagerie of other animals. I am also a fully trained dog groomer and currently work as a veterinary assistant. I am comfortable with my canine friends of all shapes, sizes, and life stages, including those with special needs including medication administration. I currently work 4 days weekly in Mount Pleasant, NC from 7:30am - 5:30pm with a one hour break mid-day and weekends off. My schedule allows me to see your pet at least twice daily (or up to three times depending on distance from my place of employment). I take care to establish a personal relationship with every pet that I meet. Every dog, cat, or fish have their own distinct personality and the better I know them, the more personalized care I can provide. I can feed, water, clean up after pets, administer medication, walk, groom (for an extra fee), and even work on any set training that you would like kept up. My biggest priority is keeping you and your pet happy and healthy.

About: I have spent my whole life around animals—dogs, cats, bunnies, chickens, snakes, and more! I even bottle-fed a rabbit from birth. I’m comfortable caring for animals of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets who need a little extra patience and attention. I’m very attentive to each pet’s individual needs and love making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I currently work part-time at a restaurant in the mornings only once or twice a week, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m able to work around your pet’s needs and make sure they receive plenty of attention, care, and time. I’m also happy to communicate ahead of time to make sure my availability works well with your schedule! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will always follow your instructions and your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I’m respectful of your home and will make sure your pets are safe, comfortable, and never left without the care they need. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and pictures so you can feel confident that your pets are happy and well cared for!

About: My love for pets started as a child. I have had several dogs in my life. A few I’ve chosen, and many I have taken in and rehomed. I was known in my hometown as the person to call if an animal needed a quick placement .. or a total new situation. I currently have a 110 lb, (gentle giant) rescue ,named Olaf, that I’ve had for 4.5 ears, two cats that fell into my lap within the last year, a bunny and a few fish. Olaf is getting older and doesn’t prefer much exercise anymore. Id love to walk your dog, pop in quick or care for your animals for an extended period of time. I currently work part-time for myself and have plenty of spare time to dedicate to the care of and needed company to your animals. Spoiling animals , within reason 😊, is what I love! My biggest concern is the safety of your pet first and foremost. I also highly focus on making sure their needs are being met while in my care. Every animal requires a different level of need. Bonding and providing comfort to your animal when you are away from them is just as important as their basic needs. I have yet to meet a dog that doesn’t love me completely!

About: I grew up raising all different types of animals (birds, rabbits, dogs, lizards) and consider my pets my family. I have about 5 years of paid experience caring for pets and I have a cat of my own. :) I'm currently working from home and I have much free time during the day to make drop in visits or stay for a few hours/overnight as needed. You can ensure that your pets will be treated with the utmost care and looked after for as I would look after my own pets. :)

About: I grew up with having a dog around the house, so I have always loved being around pets. The last two summers I have pet sat for families while they were on vacation. Some of the dogs I have taken care of have had medical needs, so I am able to give dogs medication if needed. I have taken care of big and small dogs. I look forward to working and taking care of your pet! During the summer I have more availability outside of when I am on vacation. For house sitting services, I am happy to provide overnight care for your pet. There will be times I will leave the home to run errands, go to work, family time and etc. But I will make sure that your pet’s routine is kept in tact and that they get all the snuggles and love they need. I am a full time teacher so once the school year starts my availability will change. I will not be able to provide pet care in my home. But I can provide pet care in a clients home. I am able to provide walks, feed your pet, provide snuggles, and medication if needed. I will ensure the client home stays clean if I am booked for overnight pet care. If it is too hot outside I may limit the time for the walk. I will also bring a water bottle with a bowl to make sure your dog does not overheat.
