About: I love all animals, but dogs most of all. I grew up around larger breeds - my parents had pit bulls, boxers, and German shepherds. In my adult life, I've had mostly shar-pei and beagles. I currently have four rescued beagle mixes, as well as three cats. My pets are like my children, and I believe everyone's babies deserve to be treated as well as I treat mine! My purpose in life is helping as many dogs as I can to live their best life. That help comes in different forms - I network, foster, and transport with local rescues, and pet sit for a few friends. I'm also a former trainer with a large pet store. The best part of my workday was getting to see all the dogs that come in the store each day. Whether I encountered them as students or casual customers, I always did my best to make sure the dogs always left with the best products and advice for their health and happiness. I also volunteered and was hired to work at Stanly County Animal Protective Services, and was responsible for the day to day care of all the animals in the shelter - including feeding, walking, socializing, and providing any medications needed. Helping a dog to be more comfortable in the sometimes stressful shelter environment was always my main goal. Unfortunately, I had to leave the job due to health reasons. I'm no longer able to work full time, so sitting and walking with Rover seems like the perfect part time job for me! If I can cause a tail to wag, I consider it a good day. 🐾 I'm currently hoping to find work a few days a week, walking dogs or keeping them company in the afternoons primarily. Weekdays are when I'm most available, but I would be happy to discuss occasional nights or weekends if that's what you need! If you need to go out of town and can't take your furry friends with you, I'm also able to do multiple check-ins per day, or even stay in your home with your pets if you wish. Your rules are my rules! I will care for your pets in whatever way you tell me they're used to. They will eat, walk, etc on the schedule you have them on. If you don't have a fenced yard, I'll never take them outside without a leash, and only walk on your approved routes. If you have any off limits areas in your house, I will ensure they don't have access to them. Any medications will be administered promptly on their existing schedule. I want your dog to feel like you're there, even when you're not!

“We just recently used Jeffrey to take care of our Australian Labradoodle puppy (10 months old) for an overnight stay to make sure she and Jeffrey got along fine. Turns out nothing to worry about since he was kind and caring towards her and she would take walks with him! Change in her behavior since our other dog walker we use occasionally she would not budge from the driveway. All in all, great experience and we are using him again in July. We highly recommend him!”

“Five stars isn’t enough! Philip is incredible- friendly, relaxed, and instant friends with new pups. We had never left our puppy for more than a few nights, but had a two week honeymoon planned. Philip came over to meet Cabby before the trip, and his professional but warm attitude put our minds at ease immediately. He sent us pictures and updates while we were gone, gave our girl lots of love, and followed her routine (including medication) to give her stability. He also took great care of our home- I swear it might be cleaner than when we left! Without a doubt, the best experience all-around. About: I've had animals most of my life from puppies to pound mutts and full blooded and senior dogs. I make sure to encourage play and positive training. I currently work from home so I spend lots of time with family pets, old roommate animals and friends pets. Lately it's been waking up to 3 small dogs my parents have. I make sure to follow any rules stated by the original owner. It can range from crate training, socialization, cleaning, walking or using the client's home.

About: My family and I have fostered and adopted rescue dogs over the past 8 years. I also have experience doing drop ins and house/pet sitting. I’m currently a part time college student and am working part time. I have class 2 days a week and work 5 days a week for 4 hours. About: hello, pet owner and pets, I know your pet is special to you that's why I can 100% guarantee that they will be save in my care. I have had pets, dogs mostly, my whole life and learned the do's and don't's when it comes to dog handling. Also, volunteer at shelter and vet offices expanded my ability and knowledge to care better for your dog. When your dogs are in my care I will offer grooming of any kind, long walks, hours of play time, and much more. My job is to make sure I can make your dog very comfortable and safe while you are away. I intend on making sure your furry one meets that. Also to add, I'm unofficially trained in grooming and dog training if those services need to be done as well during our time.

About: I’ve had pets since I’ve moved out on my own ten years ago. I’ve homed lizards, cats, and dogs. I love so beings being animals are my favorite! I have experience with training puppies and kittens. I’m currently most days of the week so I’m looking for a new hobby to fill my time! Scheduling is very flexible for me n and i will always try my best to work with you! I have a safe and comfortable home, free of any dangers for a curious pet. I also have a fenced in dog park. So dogs in my neighborhood are well mannered.

“Emily and Taylor were fantastic!! We searched for some time to find the perfect match to come and house sit/dog sit for our German Shepherds and now we have found it with them!!! We have one that is a senior and one that can be anxious- so it has to be a good fit all the way around- they came out and solid two visits prior to the actual weekend house sit. They showed up on time for the visit; communicated throughout the weekend; sent us pictures; and asked questions for clarification before the visit and during if needed. Their personalities are great for our dogs who warmed up to them ASAP; they took fantastic care of them as well as of our house. We will continue to use them in the future and highly recommend them to others.”
