“I had no worries with Shanna, every interaction showed her care for my pet was her first concern. Great communication and pictures while I was away, I truly could not have asked for more.”

“This is our first time using Rover, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Kathy did a wonderful job taking care of our dog Oreo. She was able to accommodate our last minute request, and provided consistent updates and pictures throughout his stay. We hope to utilize her in the future, and would definitely recommend her services.”

About: I have always watched all my families fur babies. They have been well loved just as my own. I’m always watching training videos on dog behavior as to be ready at all times and recognizing when to step in. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m always home majority of my days unless I’m running errands. So they are in my care at all times. I love to send videos and pictures to keep everyone updated. So I’m hoping to love on your fur-babies soon. I’m a stay at home mom. So I’m home almost all of my days unless I’m out running an errand or out with my sister doing an activity with my kids. But most of my days consist of being at home. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I have a really big back yard and open front yard and woods. We are back in the corner of the woods. I also have 2 big dogs that will help guide your dog on how to do things. I also have a crate if need be for a large breed dog if that’s something they are use too. I’m more than welcome to walk your dogs on a leash if you felt more comfortable
“Recently got a red lab puppy and had to go out of town. Leslie provided excellent care for the puppy and we are using her to watch Lucy, now 6 months old during our vacation this summer. Highly recommended”

“Itzel was so great with our pup. She was very communicative and sent pics every day. We could tell she loved him and he was taken care of while he was there. Thanks so much!”

“Communication was impeccable. I appreciate the consistency of the detailed information provided daily. I had zero worries while on my trip out of the country. I knew my dog was in the perfect care with a family whom is loving and caring. Highly recommend. I would definitely leave my Ocean in Kayla’s care again.”

“I want to thank Jeanette for taking good care of Buster. He enjoyed himself so much, especially around other dogs that were his size, although he likes big dogs. Her dog care site was well organized and clean. All of the dogs had an open play area to just run, be free and play. One of the best out of the few I have booked with thus far. I plan on booking with Jeanette again in the near future.”

“Rhona was great! She took care of Zeus like he was her own and sent updates and pictures. She has a perfect fenced in backyard and Zeus had a blast running around and playing. I highly recommend Rhona's as the place to board your pet.”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
