“Shanna and family are the best! She helped deal with a medical issue for one of our pups while we were out of town. She is very communicative and professional and really loves our active girl and elderly gentleman!”

“Norma took such great care of Mochi over these three days. She made sure Mochi was having lots of fun with other dogs in the house while also keeping an eye to make sure everyone was getting along well with each other. All the pictures and updates she sent showed love and fun that Mochi was thoroughly enjoying. I would definitely seek to return in the future to have Mochi stay with Norma and her lovely dogs. Thank you!”
“We had to find a dog sitter on very short notice, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! They were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and made the entire process stress-free. Our dog had an absolute blast and came home happy, tired, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that he received lots of attention, playtime, and love while we were away. We truly appreciated the flexibility and kindness, and we would not hesitate to book again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”
“Brittany took wonderful care of our dog, Lola. She sent pictures and videos everyday and had plenty of love and care. Lola has become best friends with her poodle too! She had a blast running around in the yard and meeting new friends, like goats and horses. I would definitely recommend Brittany, your fur babies will be in good hands!”

“Stacey took great care of our goldendoodle Finn! We really appreciated her daily updates and photos throughout his stay. We look forward to working with her in the future and would recommend her to others! Thank you!”
“On behalf of my Dog Patrick and me, it truly was the very best care and experience I've ever had boarding my dog in a wonderful loving home! Thank you London/ and family 😊”

“Kathy and her crew took extra special care of our boy Nikko. He will be returning to his favorite spot soon. She has a wonderful outdoor area and furry friends to keep your special ones company.”

“We were hosting a wedding and had a large group of people staying with us. Our pet sitter canceled last minute, so I was in a jam. Catherine and daughter did an amazing job w/ Humble. Excellent communication, and send photos daily. He throroughly enjoyed his visit and had a great time. I would leave him w/ her without any worries. She is a pro.”

“Rachel was absolutely fantastic, and I can't recommend her highly enough. She is clearly a very experienced dog owner and has an exceptional understanding of canine behavior. She took outstanding care of both of our dogs while we were away, paying especially close attention to Brutus's anxiety. She was incredibly patient with him, worked with him throughout our trip, and made sure he stayed comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for. Rachel treated our dogs like they were her own and truly went above and beyond. She kept us updated throughout our trip, and she's the only Rover sitter we've used who took the extra time to bathe both of our dogs before we picked them up. That thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated and really speaks to the level of care she provides. Out of all the sitters we've booked through Rover, Rachel has been one of the very best. We wouldn't hesitate to book with her again, and we wholeheartedly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dependable person to care for their dogs. Your pets will be in excellent hands.”
“Mary and William treated our dogs like their own. They kept us updated with how the pups were doing and just went above and beyond. We would definitely book again in the future. Very happy with our experience!”

“Abriana & her husband are absolutely amazing! This is the 2nd time I have booked them while we went on vacation & there is absolutely no one else I’d rather have keep my dog, Max! She sends plenty of pictures and updates, which always puts me at ease. Her and her husband are amazing with Max; he has a great time!”

“My first time using Rover and I was able to book a stay with Hope. She was very sweet and made sure to check in with my pictures and videos. I will definitely be using her again. Thank you so much!”

“Dropped our two dogs (5 month old pitbull mutt) and (2 year old pug) off to stay with Sierra during our 4 day vacation! Sierra did a great job taking care of them making sure they were being played with, got plenty of activity, were well fed, and happy! As well as daily updates and a few nice pictures. Will book again ! Thank you Sierra !”

“Ashley was so great! I just moved to the area but previously used Rover in TN. Ashley was very responsive and kept me updated with how Brody was doing with text and photos. It’s so comforting having someone so attentive keep my boy while I’m out of town. I will definitely be using Ashley again in the future! Thanks so much ?”

“Thank you so much for taking such good care of Kobe; he had a delightful time with you the past two days. It was a great help to me knowing he was in a good place having fun and getting special treatment. He will miss coming to your house.”

“Lynann took such good care of my boy. She sent an abundance of videos and photos each day which made our vacation much more peaceful knowing he was in good hands. Do not hesitate to book with her! She is very responsive and will love your pet as if it was her own. We went to pick our boy up and he didn’t want to leave. Will be booking with her again in the near future.”

About: With me your dog will have lots of wags and a friend to keep him/her busy while you are away. My motto is a “tired puppy is a happy puppy”, and that’s what I bring to every pet experience - a calm approach, energetic play, a lazy nap, or a mixture of all of it depending on your pets needs. Almost 10 years experience dog-sitting has taught me to be aware & respectful of a dog’s boundaries with other animals, and aware of a dog’s need for rest and play to stay happy! Dog’s in my care at my home will have a fenced in yard & will be kept clean, safe, and busy. The best care for your pet is a familiar face, so I hope to build long-term pet-sitter confidence. I work from home & I only take small dogs who are friendly towards other dogs. No cats or children in my home. I currently work fully remote & have a fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood so I have regular breaks to play with your pet outside. I have a 12lb doxie who loves other small dogs. As an experienced dog owner & sitter, I always introduce dogs outside for the first meeting. I listen to your dog’s specific care needs & requests. I always communicate on how your pet is doing & can answer questions as they come up so you can be at ease knowing your pet is receiving the best care in my home.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
