“Shanna was the best! She took great care of our energetic labs! We enjoyed the updates and pictures throughout their stay. Goose and Tater clearly enjoyed themselves. I’m certain they will look forward to staying with her again! Shanna is knowledgeable about dogs and their needs. You can rest easy that your pet is in capable hands!”

About: Our family has raised and cared for many animals large and small over the years! We have a special fondness for huskies and border collies! We adopted our first husky, Mika, in 2013 and our second husky, Chacho, in 2015. They have both since passed. We live on a farm and currently have cows, donkeys, chickens and one veteran farm border collie, Rex. Rex spends most of the day cruising around outside or napping on the porch. He is friendly with other dogs and enjoys greeting guests! We are a homeschool family with a flexible schedule and spend the majority of the day at home. My husband and two children (ages 7 and 9) share in the daily responsibilities of caring for all our animals and pet guests. We have plenty of indoor and outdoor space for pets to enjoy! All of our pets are vetted annually, up to date on vaccines and flee/tick treatment. Our livestock are fenced and kept away from pet areas. Our backyard is unfenced. We will make sure all pets are properly leased when walking in unfenced areas. Pet guests will not be left unsupervised outside, with children or other animals.

About: We love all animals I have owned dogs from birth to Senior age. I know what it takes to take care of a pet that is elderly, blind, has to be in diapers, to needing a special diet. I love puppies and can set up a nice size play pen in the living room so they have a safe place to play. I do have experience bottle feeding on a regular schedule. We have also owned reptiles to invertebrates and know how to care for these critters as well. If you are in need of a pet needing care that is a small critter like hamster, guinea pig, ferret, chinchilla, etc. or a reptile to snakes and scorpions my husband and I have experience with all these types of critters and more. We both love all animals. We do have a small dog and my dog is crate trained so that wouldn’t be an issue. I also volunteer in 4-H. We have chickens but they are in a fence and not free range. We have an outdoor cat that does not like being in the house at all. She adopted us so she does have a home outdoors and we feed her. We both work full time jobs and pet sit when we have a request. We can modify our schedules to ensure that one of us is home within 3-4 hours of each other to being home all day with them if your pet is not used to being left alone. I typically work 8-6 Monday-Thursday with about 2 - 3 days off during the week, William does not leave the house until 3pm so your pet would only be alone for about 3 hrs during weekdays. Friday - Saturday - Sunday I work nights into early morning but William is home all weekend so your pet would have someone with them all day on these days. We both have over 20 years experience with animal care for all types of pets. I provide the pets with a comfortable space if I need to separate my pet from yours mine can hang out in his favorite part of the house which is our bedroom and your pet would have the rest of the house to roam and play plus a fenced in backyard that they can run off Some energy. We can definitely come up with a plan that you and I feel comfortable with to make your pet the most comfortable and happy until you get back. I know from experience how nerve racking it is leaving your pet when you have to and you can’t take them with you. I am open to frequent check in's so you can say hi, receive a picture through the Rover chat service, or call / FaceTime chats which ever method you prefer. If your pet is in the process of potty training but still has accidents we do not mind at all putting a pee pad down or going more frequently to help them.
“She took great care of my puppy. My dog even had a couple of furry friends to interact with. Erica is very kind, responsible, and responsive. She took lots of pictures, and did a great job!”

“Pretty sure Rachel is the best pet sitter local to us. Idk how anyone else would book elsewhere. We drive 25 minutes just so we can bring Andy to her when we need her. 9 times out of 10 it’s last minute and she’s so easy to work with and super flexible! Shes our favorite ever! I have literally zero complaints. Open communication, extremely tentative. Andy gets so excited to come see Rachel!”
“This was the second time Carrie watched our dog, and she once again exceeded our expectations. We felt completely at ease leaving our fur baby in her care. She is dependable, attentive, and truly treats our pup like one of her own. We are so grateful for her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter.”
