“July 2017 was the first time I used Rover. A specific dog sitter was recommended by a friend. I registered on the site, managed to locate the sitter my friend suggested and set up a meet and greet. The sitter was great and helped me find Norma, located in the same area. Norma and I connected and set up a meet and greet. She was very patient with me and my dog who isn't around other dogs often. Although easy going and calm, my dog's behavior was unknown and unpredictable around other dogs. He's easily excited around other dogs at times. Norma and I wanted to make sure the long stay (10+ days) would be a good fit for everyone. During the stay, Norma provided updates daily. She sent status reports along with pictures and asked questions to determine how to get the desired reaction from my dog or to find out what she could do to mimic our home routine. Norma was also flexible with pick up, drop off times and easily agreed to a one day extension. She's a true dog lover and treated my dog as one of her own.”

About: Since birth grew up with a family dog, German Shepherds, a Lab, and at 10 years old I was given responsibility for my own dog a Maltese, Le Petite Pookay( Pookie for short). When I went off to college my Mom stole(inside joke) adopted her and I haven’t had my own dog since but over the course of the past 20 years Ive watched plenty of friends and family dogs and pets. Some claim me to be the Dog Whisperer as even shy pups seem to gravitate towards me. This last year, while transitioning to the Charlotte. NC area I stayed with a Rover host and helped out. And now that Im in my own place, a two story townhouse, I’d love to continue to host and care for your fur babies. I really miss having a furry family member around but truly excited for the opportunity to take care of your animal loved one. I do know about providing excellent customer service, the importance of integrity and working hard with the importance of humility. Service is the heart of who I am and know the special bond our family furries hold in our lives. I can't wait and hope to care for your furry loved one soon! I work from home, so my availability to host is flexible and open. I also, don’t leave the house too often for long periods and will be attentive to caring for your pet. My first floor level is open for your fur baby to free roam, but can also crate if preferred. I have a few areas with tile for easy cleaning. In addition, I have a backyard with some enclosure but have a tie down to attach to collar or harness for first and last pet relief but my subdivision has a dog walk trail for walks and extended exercise.

About: The services I offer are dog walks and check ins. I am currently 26 years old and graduated from UNCC in May of 2022. I have always loved animals ever since I was a little girl. I started caring for family and friends animals when I was 12 years old and will often help out friends and family when they need me to. “July 2017 was the first time I used Rover. A specific dog sitter was recommended by a friend. I registered on the site, managed to locate the sitter my friend suggested and set up a meet and greet. The sitter was great and helped me find Norma, located in the same area. Norma and I connected and set up a meet and greet. She was very patient with me and my dog who isn't around other dogs often. Although easy going and calm, my dog's behavior was unknown and unpredictable around other dogs. He's easily excited around other dogs at times. Norma and I wanted to make sure the long stay (10+ days) would be a good fit for everyone. During the stay, Norma provided updates daily. She sent status reports along with pictures and asked questions to determine how to get the desired reaction from my dog or to find out what she could do to mimic our home routine. Norma was also flexible with pick up, drop off times and easily agreed to a one day extension. She's a true dog lover and treated my dog as one of her own.”
“Anamika was amazing. We were so nervous about leaving our furbaby with someone for the first time but she made it a pleasant experience. She kept us posted with photos and video which comforted us while we were away. She followed all feeding directions as well as our dog’s daily routine. About: I’ve been working with dogs for 6 years, but they’ve been my biggest passion since I was little. I have a certification in dog training, have taken a first aid class, and have experience with all kinds of pups! Dogs are my full-time job, which means your pup gets all of my time and attention! My day revolves around the care of my furr-ends! I have a fenced in yard and have a room in my home dedicated to the care of my clients! I have large comfy kennel spaces for each of my guests but if your pup happens to be social and non-destructive I would allow them to free-roam!
About: I got my first dog at 15 and have never gone without pets since. I have service dogs and I’m comfortable with working breeds and the training that is associated. I also have a cat, several reptiles, and some misfits critters. There’s really not much I won’t be able to handle given enough information concerning your pet. I’m also a former medic and have plenty knowledge for special needs animals and identifying emergencies. Pet care is the start and end of my day, a lot of my schedule revolves around my mini-zoo. I’m a part time worker with full control over my schedule which allows me to focus deeply on my animal’s needs. I care about my pets as if they are family. Their activity levels, training, affection, diet, and rest are an every day concern. Others pets would be seen the same way and given the same level of care. I have plenty alternative means of caring depending on the pet personality as well, I.e. kennels, separate or same rooms, special walks and even some training thrown around in.
