About: Living with three cats has taught me a lot! Their routines and all the little quirks that make them each such a character. Over the years, I've spent provably too much time learning about cat enrichment with a focus on behavior training (like clicker training and pattern games). It’s so interesting exploring the different ways cats communicate what they need (sometimes very clearly, and sometimes not so clearly). One of my cats, Momo, showed up on our porch last year and, helping him feel safe with my two older cats gave me an even deeper appreciation for how unique every cat’s needs are. It has also made me familiar with baby-gates, medication protocols, the best calming cat playlists on Spotify, and all the toys! Because of this experience, I pay extra attention to more than just food, water, and litter boxes. I enjoy getting to know each cat's personality, favorite routines, play style, and comfort level. Whether your cat wants an enthusiastic play session, a buddy while they eat, or simply someone to hang with them from a respectful distance, I'll meet them where they are. Please please make sure your pup’s items are clean and so are they! If they have a flea problem or they have poor hygiene, I will have to deny. This is for sanitation and safety of other pups staying with me. Schedule is updated daily please shoot me a text if you need more details or require help. Schedule changes week to week so please send request and will talk to you about availability (specifically for drop-ins) not applicable to boarding/doggy care Fully fenced yard, big full front yard, lots of space inside as well in case bad weather doesn’t let them run around outside. I supervise when they’re outdoors/indoors. I prefer to crate if I am away to prevent injuries, if you’re dog isn’t crate trained please let me know.

About: Before bringing a dog into your family it is important to know how to take care of them. You need to provide love and affection and kindness. They are treated like family members. I enjoy playing with them in the backyard or in the house. Love to take them for walks if that is what is preferred. Keeps us both healthy. I love cuddling with them on the couch and petting them. They are such great company and love the loyalty they provide. I love all kinds of dogs they are smart and curious little guys. They must be taken to a vet to keep up with their shots and health. I don't like to feed them from the table and I always read articles on what is or what isn't good for them. I am home and I can be with your pet 24/7. During visits, I pay close attention to behavior changes, energy levels, hydration, feeding, potty breaks, and overall comfort. After walks or outdoor time, I make sure pets settle back in comfortably, have access to fresh water, and are checked over if we’ve been through wooded areas, trails, or messy weather. If requested by pet parents, I can also help with simple grooming-related care such as brushing or pet-safe freshening sprays after visits. During travel care visits, I make sure pets have food, water, exercise, attention, and the overall care they need to stay comfortable in their familiar environment while their owners are away. I also always carry extra treats and poop bags so owners do not have to worry about small essentials during walks or visits. I believe communication is extremely important, especially when caring for pets in someone else’s home. I provide updates after every visit so owners know how their pet is doing, and if anything ever seems unusual or raises concern, I communicate promptly. If a pet has specific needs, routines, or preferences, I always prefer to discuss them directly with the owner beforehand so expectations, comfort, and care are clear for everyone involved.
About: I learned how to properly care for pets as I was growing up. But I started caring for my own pets as an adult after college. I’ve given them the best life possible over 16 years, even as they have aged and needed more care. I also help with strays, lost pets, and feral community cats. About: I have spent my whole life around dogs. My dad was a dog trainer in Alaska so I was able to learn a lot from him over the years. Since then my family has had our own dog which sadly passed away a year ago after 12 sweet years together. We have dog sat for friends and family over the years as our home makes a great space for dog sitting, but have not professionally dog sat before until now. We work from home so your pup will rarely be on their own. We also have a fenced back yard so they can play outside safely! We have a 2-bedroom, 1-bath home that's clean, comfortable, and designed with our own dog, Marlowe, in mind. Marlowe is an almost 2-year-old Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix who is incredibly friendly and loves meeting other dogs. We allow her on the furniture and bed because she's part of our family, but she usually chooses to sleep in her crate with the door open. We also take safety seriously by "Marlowe-proofing" areas of our home and limiting access to certain rooms when we're away. It's just my husband and me in the home, creating a calm, low-stress environment for visiting pets. While our neighborhood isn't ideal for long walks, we love taking dogs on walks in downtown areas for new sights, smells, and exercise.
