With me your dog will have lots of wags and a friend to keep him/her busy while you are away. My motto is a “tired puppy is a happy puppy”, and that’s what I bring to every pet experience - a calm approach, energetic play, a lazy nap, or a mixture of all of it depending on your pets needs. Almost 10 years experience dog-sitting has taught me to be aware & respectful of a dog’s boundaries with other animals, and aware of a dog’s need for rest and play to stay happy! Dog’s in my care at my home will have a fenced in yard & will be kept clean, safe, and busy. The best care for your pet is a familiar face, so I hope to build long-term pet-sitter confidence. I work from home & I only take small dogs who are friendly towards other dogs. No cats or children in my home.

Shay was everything we could have hoped for, she was caring, friendly, communicative and incredibly easy to work with. She took the time to introduce our two puppies to her dog in a thoughtful way that made the experience super easy. She sent tons of photos and videos of our guys playing with her dog and it made this somewhat stressful situation for us extremely easy. We were in town for an event and she made us going to it easy with how well she communicated before we booked and during their stay with her. I can not recommend her any higher.
We just moved to NC from PA and our dog is still adjusting. Shay was very kind and patient with Bella and walked her daily, which is Bella's favorite activity. She even bought her a name tag with our new address on it. I would definitely recommend Shay to take care of your dog!

Where to even start? This was our first time using Rover, as well as our first time leaving our puppies overnight, and to say we were nervous and concerned would be an understatement. But we had NOTHING to worry about because of Shay. From the meet and greet where it was clear she was going to love our pups as if they were her own, to the conversations leading up to the stay, to the stay itself, Shay was A+++. She kept us updated with multiple daily pictures, videos, and messages and we could tell the pups just loved her. That made our trip that much more enjoyable. At the end it felt like a member of our family had stayed at our house with our dogs. We can’t recommend Shay highly enough. She is the absolute best!
Will definitely use again!

Schedule
I currently work fully remote & have a fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood so I have regular breaks to play with your pet outside. I have a 12lb doxie who loves other small dogs. As an experienced dog owner & sitter, I always introduce dogs outside for the first meeting.
