About: Hello all! My name is Melissa and I've been working with animals most of my life and have so loved being able to do so! On top of being a pet owner all my life, I've been an avid horseback rider which meant I was always barn sitting and pet sitting from a young age. I've cared for up to 20 horses and 6 dogs at one time, so no dog is too big :) I've worked with many sizes, breeds and personalities in dogs and I take a personalized approach when it comes to pet care. I have two of my own dogs, Oakley and Theo.If you're looking for an active household, we're definitely it! We spend most of our time on our farm and work from home part of the week. About: I started taking care of the family dog a few years ago. With him, I administered medication in a positive way and helped train him. I am comfortable using a harness and a regular collar. I also helped train my senior dog on his reactivity with positive reinforcement. Currently, I am on summer break. I work as a teacher during the school year, so my availability for the next few months is open. At my apartment, my roommate’s dog I take out every 2-3 hours and I give him lots of cuddles. I keep an eye out for anything around me to make sure it is safe.

About: Been around dogs since I was little and offically took care of them when I was 8. Animals all around have been welcomed into my life whether they have four legs or not. Currently I am not working so it gives me more time to take care and play with your furry friends! I am available almost all hours of the day and can be contacted at anytime if in need of anything! I can easily bathe, clean, feed, brush, refill water for cats along with taking the time to play with them to ensure their daily enrichment for the day. For dogs I can easily help by simply brush, feeding, playing, being put into their crates, or even walking when needed to get their exercise and let them use the bathroom.

I’ve been pet sitting on Rover since 2021, but I’ve been the go-to “Can you watch my dog/cat/goat?” friend for over a decade. I’ve cared for everything from purse-sized pups to dogs the size of small horses, plus cats, guinea pigs, and yes… actual goats. Because I’m a full-time teacher, my schedule is a little unique, but I make it work in a way that keeps your pets happy and cared for without feeling rushed. • Weekends: This is when my calendar is the most open! I’m available most Saturdays and Sundays for drop-in visits throughout the day — morning, afternoon, and evening. • Weekdays (Mon–Fri): My time is more limited due to my teaching schedule. I’m available early in the morning before work and again in the late afternoon/evening after school. To make sure I can be on time and give your pets the attention they deserve, I can only accept weekday visits for clients who are in close proximity to me. Because of my schedule, I currently only offer drop-in visits — no overnights or extended stays. This way, I can give your pets the focused care they need without overcommitting. Drop-ins are perfect for feeding, potty breaks, walks, litter box care, playtime, and plenty of love while you’re away. Even with my teaching career, pet care is a big part of my life. I take it seriously (while still having fun with your pets), and I’m committed to making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved until you get home. When you share instructions for your pet’s care, I follow them closely — after all, you know your pet best. I provide detailed updates after each visit (with plenty of pictures!) so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. I’m happy to walk your pet around the yard or through the neighborhood, provide playtime if that’s what they enjoy, and crate them in the morning or at night if that’s part of their routine. My goal is simple: give you complete peace of mind while providing your pet with the same level of love, attention, and care they get from you.

About: Growing up we have always had dogs and cats in the house, I couldn’t imagine not having each of them! We’ve had all different breeds and sizes that each lived 11-18 years, so I am used to taking care of old dogs and puppies. I’ve housesat/petsat for 7 different families over the years with dogs ranging from 8lbs to 210lbs!! I am currently a stay at home wife and I am working on school online. I have a lot of free time during the days my husband is at work. Mondays, tuesdays, wednesdays, and fridays 8am-6pm. I will care for the pets as if they were my own. I like to try and keep the known routine of the pet going which should be easy if I am coming into the home of the pet. Overall just loving and caring for the dogs or cats while their owner is away!
