About: I have met so many awesome fur babies working through Rover and I love each and every one of them. It's always so much fun getting to know a new pet friend especially dogs. I have had dogs my entire life. I have taken in numerous dogs from puppies to older dogs. We also rescued kittens and cared for them from birth to old age. I have experience caring for puppies and kittens and elderly pets with complex health issues. I just love animals and I've passed on that love for animals to my children. This isn't just a job for me it's my happy place. Your babies will be treated like family while they are in my care and I update you every step of the way. I've met pets with all different energy levels and personalities but I've never met one I didn't become instant bestfriends with. My work schedule is very flexible at the moment so I can work around that and spend plenty of time making sure your pets enjoy themselves while in my care. I would love to meet your pets. I have a large fenced in backyard for your dogs to run around in. I have a very friendly dog of my own that has been socialized since birth and loves meeting new friends. I have a large dog crate available if you want your pup crated just let me know otherwise they are free to roam around as they please. We allow pets on furniture and treat them like family so they will come back to you spoiled. They will get so much attention between me and my two teenagers. We are animal lovers through and through.

About: My name is Nancee and I can't wait to meet your Pup! I am new to N.C. and loving it! I've been a lover of nature and animals since I was a child. I've had dog children since I was a teenager and am super responsible. I live in a spacious home with lots of room to play and a nice neighborhood to walk in. I give lots of updates and pics of your pup, like I myself would appreciate if someone was caring for my own. Making animals happy makes me happy. 😊 I'm currently working from home which gives me a flexible schedule to accommodate your pups needs. I know exercise and playing is important to younger pups and I'm able to provide walks, playing with toys, or belly rubs. I have a medium size friendly and Zen dog at home. He's a lover boy to the extreme. I have a large backyard with some wooded area and also live in a peaceful neighborhood to go on doggy walks.

Lexie was so great with Brinkley. She spent a lot of time with her and gave her lots of attention. She was really accommodating with the specifics of walking her and even took her to Brinkleys favorite park! The cherry on top was that she brought a package inside for us, talk about going above and beyond. I would highly recommend using Lexie to care for you pups. Brinkley can’t wait to walk with Lexie again 🐶

About: I started taking care of the family dog a few years ago. With him, I administered medication in a positive way and helped train him. I am comfortable using a harness and a regular collar. I also helped train my senior dog on his reactivity with positive reinforcement. Currently, I am on summer break. I work as a teacher during the school year, so my availability for the next few months is open. At my apartment, my roommate’s dog I take out every 2-3 hours and I give him lots of cuddles. I keep an eye out for anything around me to make sure it is safe.

In our home dogs are family members and our two childen will love to spoil an cuddle your pups! Dogs are fed and let out in the morning before everyone leaves for school and work. Either myself or my husband is home around 4 pm to let the dogs out. They are fed dinner at 5 pm and usually spend the evening playing together with my children. About: I am a second year veterinary student who has worked as a small animal veterinary assistant for about 3 years. I have experience in caring for senior pets and younger puppies/kittens as well. I grew up with dogs and cats, and now have a three-legged cat of my own. I am very reliable, thorough, and will care for your pets as my own. About: Hello all! My name is Melissa and I've been working with animals most of my life and have so loved being able to do so! On top of being a pet owner all my life, I've been an avid horseback rider which meant I was always barn sitting and pet sitting from a young age. I've cared for up to 20 horses and 6 dogs at one time, so no dog is too big :) I've worked with many sizes, breeds and personalities in dogs and I take a personalized approach when it comes to pet care. I have two of my own dogs, Oakley and Theo.If you're looking for an active household, we're definitely it! We spend most of our time on our farm and work from home part of the week. Pets have always been family to us and your pets would be treated and loved just like ours. Ask me about multi dog discounts or other pricing concerns! I have a hybrid work schedule, working from home part of the week. This gives me some flexibility for pet care during the week and on the weekends! We only keep one pet/one family’s pets at a time. We live on a quiet road with tons of space to safely run and play

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Bethania. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
