About: Hi, I’m Ashton… full-time teacher/extra full-time animal enthusiast, and your pet’s soon-to-be favorite human (other than you, of course)! I’ve been pet sitting on Rover since 2021, but I’ve been the go-to “Can you watch my dog/cat/goat?” friend for over a decade. I’ve cared for everything from purse-sized pups to dogs the size of small horses, plus cats, guinea pigs, and yes… actual goats. When I’m not shaping young minds in the classroom, I’m happily spoiling pets like they’re my own — walks, snuggles, playtime, belly rubs, and enough photo updates to make your camera roll jealous. Pet sitting is a family affair for me: my husband occasionally joins in, and my 13-year-old daughter (aka the animal whisperer) is my secret weapon for winning over even the shyest pets. Please note if you do not prefer that I include my family during visits, that is not a problem and individual care will be arranged! The goal is to make you and most importantly your pet(s) feel safe and comfortable! If you’re looking for someone reliable, experienced, and genuinely passionate about animals — with a little humor sprinkled in — I’d love to make sure your furry (or feathered, or hooved) family member feels safe, loved, and downright pampered while you’re away. Because I’m a full-time teacher, my schedule is a little unique, but I make it work in a way that keeps your pets happy and cared for without feeling rushed. • Weekends: This is when my calendar is the most open! I’m available most Saturdays and Sundays for drop-in visits throughout the day — morning, afternoon, and evening. • Weekdays (Mon–Fri): My time is more limited due to my teaching schedule. I’m available early in the morning before work and again in the late afternoon/evening after school. To make sure I can be on time and give your pets the attention they deserve, I can only accept weekday visits for clients who are in close proximity to me. Because of my schedule, I currently only offer drop-in visits — no overnights or extended stays. This way, I can give your pets the focused care they need without overcommitting. Drop-ins are perfect for feeding, potty breaks, walks, litter box care, playtime, and plenty of love while you’re away. Even with my teaching career, pet care is a big part of my life. I take it seriously (while still having fun with your pets), and I’m committed to making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved until you get home. When you share instructions for your pet’s care, I follow them closely — after all, you know your pet best. I provide detailed updates after each visit (with plenty of pictures!) so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. I’m happy to walk your pet around the yard or through the neighborhood, provide playtime if that’s what they enjoy, and crate them in the morning or at night if that’s part of their routine. My goal is simple: give you complete peace of mind while providing your pet with the same level of love, attention, and care they get from you.

About: I retired from teaching 4 years ago and have been caring for pets in their homes, cleaning litter boxes and taking dogs out for exercise during that time. I have personally owned 2 large dogs well into their senior years. I have had cats my entire life and still have one. I typically take care of cats and dogs when their owners are away; feeding, administering pills, cleaning litter boxes, exercising/playing with dogs, and playing/cuddling with cats. I believe these visits have been the most rewarding activities of my life. As a retired teacher, I am flexible to care for pets any day of the week. I am also willing to stay overnight in your home and be your pet’s companion. I still have a cat of my own on whom I like to check at some point each day if staying nights at another pet owner’s home. Sometimes the owners I serve are away for 7-15 days at a time. I will send daily updates and pictures as well during your absence. I have been providing care for pets in the owners’ homes. I therefore water and feed the cats and dogs and administer pills, if needed. I clean litter boxes and tidy up, making sure pet hair, etc. is cleaned up. I get the mail and take out trash. I play/cuddle with the cats and exercise/play/cuddle with the dogs. I love to walk so I never get enough of walking dogs. I take extra precautions if dogs are anxious when I have to leave for a while, i.e., leave music or TV playing or do something special with the dogs before I leave. The dogs usually sleep in the bed with me and we become great friends.

About: I’ve always grown up with animals in the home, a home isn’t a home unless you here the pitter patter of those paws of the floor. Dogs are at the heart of my being and unfortunately you can only have so many. But the best way I’ve found to experience the love of all kind of dogs are through the caring for of everyone else’s four legged friend. I’ve always watched and cared for others animals off and on as a side income and personal enjoyment; giving all the love and attention they need while their human is away. All the way back when I was in high school, many years ago, I discovered the love and care for others dogs when I worked for the groomers and it’s never stopped since. My sweet Winter departed in 2020 after 13 long and steady years by my side and while I haven’t yet been ready to give my full heart away I’ve found great healing, giving lots of love, walks, baths, ball games, and lots of snuggs, All welcomed with love. After 10 years working in the field of Art Education and Public Art Coordination I decided to take the leap and start my business, Swift & Dapper LLC. Life is never one size fit all and too short to accept anything less that extraordinary whether that’s personal style or grooming, spacial reconfiguration or custom built carpentry, curated interiors or stunning professional services you have specific needs and you deserve nothing less than what you need and then some. S&D is happy to offer paw-fessional pet services. With a home based operations that leaves plenty of time for swing by visits or stay-cations for your special friend. They’ll have all the attention they need and anything else to ensure a happy and paw-sitive care. Our four legged friends should always be at home and feel comfortable. Fresh running water, soft comfy rugs and beds, and lots of fluffy blankets for those that like to snuggle up on the sofa for a movie. Our backyard is large and fenced in, ready for fetch and play time. We are used to having little furry ones (especially our neighbor’s little ones) wandering around and keep it in the front of mind always. Instructions for specific care are much appreciated and followed to the ledger.

About: My first job was cat sitting for my neighbors when I was 9! I’ve always had a special place in my heart for animals! Friends & family have relied on me to capture strays & get them to safety as well as caring for their beloved pets! I currently am finishing up at forsyth tech with 2 classes on Monday & Wednesdays (12:00-3:20). I have a very flexible schedule & I’m available pretty much any time besides the time mentioned on Mondays & Wednesdays. I have a large fenced in yard, and I also have a very friendly Golden Retriever, Winston who will be around to keep your pets company! I go above and beyond to make sure your pet feels right at home & loved!

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals, from goats to chickens to house cats. I own a dog, who’s a year and a half old now, but I trained him from the time he was 8 weeks old. I also had a senior dog in my teens that I took care of. I have never met a critter I don’t love!! I’m currently a stay at home mom to my young daughter so I have plenty of time to pour all the love into your pup or kitty (or other!). My schedule is flexible to suit your needs and your fur baby’s preferences. I have a happy, friendly mid sized heeler pup who just loves other dogs and cats. I am happy to crate him if you are more comfortable with our critters not interacting while in my home, and of course, he will remain at my house while I care for your animals in your own home.

About: I've had pets growing up my entire life. I love animals and just enjoy being around them and giving them love! I've taken care of several pets for friends and family and just want to continue to do that for others when needed. I have my own business so I have a very flexible schedule and can be available day or night to take care of your furr babies 😊 My own animals are so friendly and loving and my home would be completely safe for ur furr babies but at this time I won't be able to board any pets at my house. This may change in the future.

My hours vary through the week but they are set depending the season because of school. I have a senior dog, so he can either be relaxed or playful. About: If you’re looking for a second home for your pets, look no further. I have been called the dog whisperer since I was a young child.. fast forward 15 years, I have volunteered/worked at/with lots of rescues, shelters, ran the yards at doggy daycare facilities, and have rescued/rehabilitated/fostered lots. Currently a verified foster with the Forsyth Humane Society. Way better with animals than humans, your pets are sure to be impressed with the level of grandma spoiling they will receive. Our pets all have their own special needs so we are used to managing lots of different lives. They are members of our family and yours will be treated the same! We have a fenced in yard and 6 acres unfenced for leashed walking. Lots of room within to roam, a currently empty basement for lodging which is attached to fenced yard.

About: I've taken care of dogs/pets my whole life, my passion only grew larger for them as I grew older. They are truly the heart of the world and they give us the motivation to keep pushing forward. Not only do I have personal experience caring and medicating animals, but I also have experience dealing with aggressive dogs as well as previous experience working in a kennel/doggy-daycare where I cared for, walked, and medicating cats and dogs in my daily routine. I am also going to NC State currently, going to be a junior in the fall, majoring in animal science which has provided me with so much knowledge on animals and how to best care for them, ranging many species but specializing in companion animals. I'm currently out of college for summer break so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family members and make sure they get the best experience possible while you're away. Personally, I have 2 cats and share 2 more and a dog with a disability with my mom so for me, pet care is a normal daily routine and therefore other forms of pet care are no hassle to add on and I'd love to help out and make sure you and your pet are getting what's best for the both of you! Having companion animals of my own, I know how worrisome it can become when you leave your door open to a stranger, especially with your furry friend's life at hand. Just know I would never treat an animal, person, or home with any type of disrespect nor would I ever imagine doing so. I treat others' things as my own and I'd say I keep things pretty organized and clean. Also, it is important to know that I am not only an animal enthusiast but I am also an animal welfare enthusiast and would do anything in my power to keep your furry friend safe under my watch.

About: I've been caring for animals for over 10 years and have always had a passion for pets. I have experience house-sitting, feeding, walking, cleaning up after, and caring for dogs and cats for neighbors, family, and friends. Growing up with pets has taught me that every animal is unique, and I treat each one with the same love, patience, and attention I'd give my own.
