About: I can’t remember a time in my life that I didn’t have a dog (or two). Big dogs, little dogs and in between. Now that I am retired, I devote most of my time to caring for my two “baby girls”. Daisy & Bella are litter sisters although they don’t look a like. They are Teddy Bear/Schicons (1/2 Bichon Frise and 1/2 Shih Tzu). They are inseparable, looking out for each other or wrestling together, where there’s one there is the other. They do play well with others. My sister’s little girl is a Shih Tzu and she is an only child, we laugh and call her the Princess. I sit for her for a week or long weekends when my sister visits her daughter out of town. She also comes over for play dates. They all respect each other’s boundaries and the Princess has learned to play with “the Court Jesters”. My dogs and visitors are allowed on furniture and beds. My yard is not fenced, but I do have a radio frequency collar system that I can use or walk on leash per owner’s preference. I live a long way from the road so it is safe. We go on golf cart rides around the property in the afternoon, my girls look forward to it. I am retired, so unless I have a doctor appointment or go grocery shopping, I am home 100% of the time. I do go to church on Sunday morning. My girls have the run of our home but I can use a crate if owner desires. I will treat your fur baby like I do my own. They are my #1 priority, always. They have a feeding schedule twice daily with a few treats throughout the day. They get lots of love and snuggles to their satisfaction. I encourage them to play with toys inside interacting with each other and myself. They will get plenty of exercise indoors and outdoors. I refreshed their water several times daily.

About: I’ve always grown up with animals in the home, a home isn’t a home unless you here the pitter patter of those paws of the floor. Dogs are at the heart of my being and unfortunately you can only have so many. But the best way I’ve found to experience the love of all kind of dogs are through the caring for of everyone else’s four legged friend. I’ve been pet sitting on Rover since 2021, but I’ve been the go-to “Can you watch my dog/cat/goat?” friend for over a decade. I have personally owned 2 large dogs well into their senior years. I have had cats my entire life and still have one. I therefore water and feed the cats and dogs and administer pills, if needed. I clean litter boxes and tidy up, making sure pet hair, etc. is cleaned up. I get the mail and take out trash. I play/cuddle with the cats and exercise/play/cuddle with the dogs. I love to walk so I never get enough of walking dogs. I take extra precautions if dogs are anxious when I have to leave for a while, i.e., leave music or TV playing or do something special with the dogs before I leave. S&D is happy to offer paw-fessional pet services. With a home based operations that leaves plenty of time for swing by visits or stay-cations for your special friend. They’ll have all the attention they need and anything else to ensure a happy and paw-sitive care. Our four legged friends should always be at home and feel comfortable. Fresh running water, soft comfy rugs and beds, and lots of fluffy blankets for those that like to snuggle up on the sofa for a movie. Our backyard is large and fenced in, ready for fetch and play time. We are used to having little furry ones (especially our neighbor’s little ones) wandering around and keep it in the front of mind always. Instructions for specific care are much appreciated and followed to the ledger.
About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals, from goats to chickens to house cats. I own a dog, who’s a year and a half old now, but I trained him from the time he was 8 weeks old. I also had a senior dog in my teens that I took care of. I have never met a critter I don’t love!! I’m currently a stay at home mom to my young daughter so I have plenty of time to pour all the love into your pup or kitty (or other!). My schedule is flexible to suit your needs and your fur baby’s preferences. I have a happy, friendly mid sized heeler pup who just loves other dogs and cats. I am happy to crate him if you are more comfortable with our critters not interacting while in my home, and of course, he will remain at my house while I care for your animals in your own home.
About: My first job was cat sitting for my neighbors when I was 9! I’ve always had a special place in my heart for animals! Friends & family have relied on me to capture strays & get them to safety as well as caring for their beloved pets! I currently am finishing up at forsyth tech with 2 classes on Monday & Wednesdays (12:00-3:20). I have a very flexible schedule & I’m available pretty much any time besides the time mentioned on Mondays & Wednesdays. I have a large fenced in yard, and I also have a very friendly Golden Retriever, Winston who will be around to keep your pets company! My hours vary through the week but they are set depending the season because of school. I have a senior dog, so he can either be relaxed or playful. About: If you’re looking for a second home for your pets, look no further. I have been called the dog whisperer since I was a young child.. fast forward 15 years, I have volunteered/worked at/with lots of rescues, shelters, ran the yards at doggy daycare facilities, and have rescued/rehabilitated/fostered lots. Currently a verified foster with the Forsyth Humane Society. Way better with animals than humans, your pets are sure to be impressed with the level of grandma spoiling they will receive. Our pets all have their own special needs so we are used to managing lots of different lives. They are members of our family and yours will be treated the same! We have a fenced in yard and 6 acres unfenced for leashed walking. Lots of room within to roam, a currently empty basement for lodging which is attached to fenced yard.

About: I've taken care of dogs/pets my whole life, my passion only grew larger for them as I grew older. They are truly the heart of the world and they give us the motivation to keep pushing forward. Not only do I have personal experience caring and medicating animals, but I also have experience dealing with aggressive dogs as well as previous experience working in a kennel/doggy-daycare where I cared for, walked, and medicating cats and dogs in my daily routine. I am also going to NC State currently, going to be a junior in the fall, majoring in animal science which has provided me with so much knowledge on animals and how to best care for them, ranging many species but specializing in companion animals. I'm currently out of college for summer break so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family members and make sure they get the best experience possible while you're away. Personally, I have 2 cats and share 2 more and a dog with a disability with my mom so for me, pet care is a normal daily routine and therefore other forms of pet care are no hassle to add on and I'd love to help out and make sure you and your pet are getting what's best for the both of you! Having companion animals of my own, I know how worrisome it can become when you leave your door open to a stranger, especially with your furry friend's life at hand. Just know I would never treat an animal, person, or home with any type of disrespect nor would I ever imagine doing so. I treat others' things as my own and I'd say I keep things pretty organized and clean. Also, it is important to know that I am not only an animal enthusiast but I am also an animal welfare enthusiast and would do anything in my power to keep your furry friend safe under my watch.
About: I've been caring for animals for over 10 years and have always had a passion for pets. I have experience house-sitting, feeding, walking, cleaning up after, and caring for dogs and cats for neighbors, family, and friends.
