About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always had a huge love for animals. Over the years, I’ve cared for many different breeds and sizes, from Chihuahuas to Dobermans and everything in between. I’m a passionate animal lover and advocate, and I’ve also fostered dogs through rescues. Fostering has given me a special place in my heart for fearful, shy, anxious, and misunderstood dogs. I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and comfort level, and I believe in giving them patience, kindness, and time to feel safe. As a registered nurse, I’m comfortable administering medications and following specific care instructions. I’m also comfortable with bathing and basic grooming needs. Most importantly, I genuinely love being around dogs. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their family is away. 🐾❤️ I’m a registered nurse and work 12-hour shifts, typically 2 days per week and every other weekend. On my weekends off, I have 5 days off in a row, which is when I’m available for boarding. My availability is therefore every other week, making me a great fit for families looking for care during weekend getaways, short trips, or extended weekends. I provide a safe, loving, home-based environment where dogs can feel comfortable and cared for while their families are away. I have a large fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time and play, and I keep the number of boarding dogs limited so each dog receives plenty of individual attention. As a registered nurse, I’m attentive to changes in behavior and comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering medications, and responding appropriately if an unexpected situation arises. I also have experience and knowledge in canine CPR and emergency first aid. I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, routine, feeding schedule, medications, and comfort level before their stay. I have a special soft spot for fearful and anxious dogs and believe patience and a calm environment are essential.

My goal is to make every dog feel loved, secure, and understood while they’re in my care. As a therapist who works from home, I am able to provide consistent supervision and attention throughout the day. My schedule includes regular breaks, allowing me to attend to your dog’s needs, offer potty breaks, playtime, walks, affection, and companionship without long periods of separation. My home has a fenced yard for safe outdoor time, as well as multiple rooms that can be used to give dogs their own space when needed. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and are treated like part of the family, creating a comfortable, home-like environment rather than a kennel atmosphere. Most importantly, I will be home the entire time your dog is in my care, ensuring they receive attentive supervision, comfort, and companionship throughout their stay.
