About: Hi! I’m 25 years old and a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your furry (or feathered!) family member needs a walk, a quick drop-in visit, overnight care, or extended sitting, you can count on me to provide reliable, loving care while you’re away. I currently have an Australian Shepherd mix and a pet bird, so I’m experienced with both dogs and exotic pets. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I understand that every animal has unique needs and routines. I’m also experienced and confident in administering medications, whether that means pills, liquid medications, or following specific care instructions to keep your pet healthy and comfortable. My friends, family, and previous clients consistently describe me as dependable, compassionate, and attentive. I’m proud to have glowing references from pet owners who trust me to care for their beloved companions, and I work hard to earn that trust with every visit. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities. I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, playtime, and updates so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. I’m currently available for overnight stays, drop-in visits, dog walking, and other pet care services, and I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pets. I can’t wait to give them the same level of care and affection that I give my own! Pet care is already a part of my everyday routine, so caring for additional pets fits seamlessly into my schedule. I start and end each day caring for my own babies, an aussie mix and a quaker 🦜 making sure they receive plenty of exercise, enrichment, attention, and love. Because I’m already committed to a structured pet care routine, I’m able to easily incorporate walks, drop-in visits, feedings, playtime, medication administration, and overnight stays for my clients’ pets. I understand how important consistency is for animals, so I make it a priority to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Whether it’s an energetic puppy that needs extra playtime, a senior pet requiring medication, or a shy cat that just needs some quiet companionship, I’m happy to provide personalized care that helps your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my highest priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s unique routine, personality, and needs so they feel comfortable and secure in my care. Whether we’re out on a walk, playing at home, or simply relaxing together, I remain attentive and patient while ensuring they stay safe at all times. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident knowing your pet is happy, loved, and in good hands.
“Wonderful walker and a friend to your pup. My senior puppy runs to the door with her tail going a million miles an hour when she sees Eleanor has arrived to take her for a walk . You will be happy to have her help you with your doggy.”

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals, from goats to chickens to house cats. I own a dog, who’s a year and a half old now, but I trained him from the time he was 8 weeks old. I also had a senior dog in my teens that I took care of. I have never met a critter I don’t love!! I’m currently a stay at home mom to my young daughter so I have plenty of time to pour all the love into your pup or kitty (or other!). My schedule is flexible to suit your needs and your fur baby’s preferences. I have a happy, friendly mid sized heeler pup who just loves other dogs and cats. I am happy to crate him if you are more comfortable with our critters not interacting while in my home, and of course, he will remain at my house while I care for your animals in your own home.
“Laura is amazing. She has a big heart for dogs, and took great care of Brooks. Her communication about Brooks after his walk was perfect, and I will be using her agian!”

“My dog, Dougray, adores Tricia. Tricia is attentive to Dougray’s needs; he’s always happy and excited to see her when she takes him out for his morning walk. Tricia is prompt at responding to requests and is great at communicating when it comes to scheduling Dougray’s walks. I cannot recommend Tricia enough!”

About: I retired from teaching 5 years ago and have been caring for pets in their homes, cleaning litter boxes and taking dogs out for exercise during that time. I have personally owned 2 large dogs well into their senior years. I have had cats my entire life and still have one. I typically take care of cats and dogs when their owners are away; feeding, administering pills, cleaning litter boxes, exercising/playing with dogs, and playing/cuddling with cats. I believe these visits have been the most rewarding activities of my life. As a retired teacher, I am flexible to care for pets any day of the week. I am also willing to stay overnight in your home and be your pet’s companion. I still have a cat of my own on whom I like to check at some point each day if staying nights at another pet owner’s home. Sometimes the owners I serve are away for 7-15 days at a time. I will send daily updates and pictures as well during your absence. I have been providing care for pets in the owners’ homes. I therefore water and feed the cats and dogs and administer pills, if needed. I clean litter boxes and tidy up, making sure pet hair, etc. is cleaned up. I get the mail and take out trash. I play/cuddle with the cats and exercise/play/cuddle with the dogs. I love to walk so I never get enough of walking dogs. I take extra precautions if dogs are anxious when I have to leave for a while, i.e., leave music or TV playing or do something special with the dogs before I leave. The dogs usually sleep in the bed with me and we become great friends.

About: I've had pets growing up my entire life. I love animals and just enjoy being around them and giving them love! I've taken care of several pets for friends and family and just want to continue to do that for others when needed. I have my own business so I have a very flexible schedule and can be available day or night to take care of your furr babies 😊 My own animals are so friendly and loving and my home would be completely safe for ur furr babies but at this time I won't be able to board any pets at my house. This may change in the future.

About: Hi there! I'm a dedicated animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats through overnight pet sitting and as a foster home for my local Humane Society. As a foster caregiver, I've welcomed animals of all temperaments into my home — from shy, anxious pets who need extra patience and gentle reassurance, to energetic ones who need structure and play. This experience has taught me how to read animal behavior, manage different personalities under one roof, and provide the kind of attentive, compassionate care that helps pets truly thrive. Why Choose Me: My foster work means I'm trusted by my local Humane Society to care for vulnerable animals — and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog needs a cozy overnight partner or your cat needs a calm lap to settle in, I treat every pet like my own. I'd love to meet your furry family member! Feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up a meet-and-greet. Being home full-time means your cat gets consistent, reliable care — no rushed visits squeezed between a busy schedule. I have the flexibility to accommodate early mornings, evenings, weekends, and last-minute requests. Your cat's routine stays intact because mine can adapt to theirs. Your pet's safety and your peace of mind are my top priority. My experience as a Humane Society foster home means I've been vetted and trusted to care for vulnerable animals — so you can feel confident leaving your cat in my hands. I treat every home I enter with respect and every pet with the same love and attention I'd give my own.
“When Griffey met Bryan they clicked. He played fetch with him and Griffey was in heaven. Bryan makes sure to give updates and photos which I love. I am definitely going to rebook with him!”

I believe every pet deserves loving, reliable care and attention. I offer daily walks, feeding, playtime, litter box or waste cleanup, medication if needed, and overnight sitting. Whether it’s exercise, cuddles, or companionship, I make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and cared for—just like family.
About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover and current pet parent to one energetic German Shorthaired Pointer puppy and two independent (but secretly snuggly) cats. Caring for such a high-energy breed has given me lots of experience with exercise needs, structure, and gentle training — while my cats remind me to always respect boundaries and read body language. Whether your pet is playful, shy, anxious, or a total goofball, I meet them where they are. I believe in kind, attentive care and keeping pets as comfortable and happy as possible while you’re away. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. With a flexible schedule and ample free time, I’m able to provide reliable, consistent care tailored to your pet’s needs. Whether it’s frequent potty breaks, medication on a schedule, or just keeping them company, I’m fully present and available. I do my best to create a calm, safe, and loving environment. I’m always respectful of your space and stick closely to your pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free.

About: Whether your dog loves long walks, energetic playtime, or quiet cuddles, I'm committed to providing any level of care and love your pet may need. I've been around dogs for most of my life, including breeds of all sizes from small Terriers and Pomeranians to large Hounds, Pointers, and Airedales. I've spent many years caring for my own pets, family pets, and other animals like chickens, donkeys, and horses through my experience in 4H. Those experiences taught me the importance of responsibility and treating every animal with kindness and respect. My goal is to help you feel at ease knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I have a very flexible work schedule, so I am available to provide drop in visits and dog walks at any time of day on Monday through Friday. Since I offer drop in visits and dog walks, my priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for in their familiar environment. I understand that every pet is different, so I'll closely follow any special instructions or routine you provide. I'll also treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own, cleaning up any pet related messes and accidents.

About: I am a dog lover who will treat your pets as my own. I have senior pet care experience. I also have experience giving medications including insulin shots. I am currently retired and home most of the day. I walk your dogs as requested or walk around my fenced in yard. I play with the dogs throughout the day and give snacks. I have a fenced in yard, friendly dogs to keep yours company, and no stairs. I keep temporary fences at both entrances to ensure extra safety.

About: I've been caring for animals for over 10 years and have always had a passion for pets. I have experience house-sitting, feeding, walking, cleaning up after, and caring for dogs and cats for neighbors, family, and friends. Growing up with pets has taught me that every animal is unique, and I treat each one with the same love, patience, and attention I'd give my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I'm a graduate student completing my degree online while working about 30 hours a week in my internship. Outside of work and school, I spend most of my time with my family, my boyfriend, and at church on Wednesdays and Sundays. My schedule is generally flexible, and I do my best to accommodate pet owners' needs whenever possible. I often spend time accompanying the dogs with snuggles and a couple of hours of playtime a day. I provide food and water for the animals as instructed by the owner as each owner has a different approach. I often take dogs on one or two walks a day because exercise is extremely beneficial for pets.
About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals from house pets to farm animals. I currently do Rover full-time, but have worked at a dog boarding/training facility and have worked with/handled dogs of all sizes and breeds. Although I have more experience around dogs I love cats just as much! I have no issues with certain breeds, ages, sizes, or handling medicine (so long as it is nothing a professional vet should handle). I can’t wait to watch and care for your fur babies! I pet-sit full time, giving me plenty of free time to walk, watch, and love your pets! My schedule is also very flexible making it easier to schedule based off your needs! I do have my own dog but unfortunately she is not friendly with other animals. Because of this I can only do daycare/overnight at clients own homes and walks/check-ins. I have plenty of personal and professional experience with aggressive animals and have no issues watching/walking aggressive dogs so long as both me and you are comfortable with it. With that being said it is important to me that any aggressive behavior whether with animals and/or people is told upfront and honestly as well meeting the dog ahead of time.

I know that finding reliable pet care can be a challenge, and I assure you I will treat your pup just as I would treat my own - with lots of love and lots of activity. I am available for lots of different needs, so please let me know if you are in need of a service not listed on my profile. I look forward to helping you! My schedule varies from week to week, so please reach out to see if I’m able to help you. I’m typically available with enough notice! I want to make sure your pups are comfortable when you’re gone! Please let me know of any details that I should know about your dogs.
About: I’ve always had pets growing up and have even trained a few of my own dogs. I’d be so happy to care for yours and give them lots of love. I am a stay at home mom so I have an open and flexible daily schedule, I enjoy early morning walks. I am also open for boarding on weekday or weekends. I have a fenced yard and plenty of space in my home for pets to feel comfortable. My cat can be kept separate if needed. I’m also available for house sitting if that’s preferred.
About: Hi, I’m Ashton… full-time teacher/extra full-time animal enthusiast, and your pet’s soon-to-be favorite human (other than you, of course)! I’ve been pet sitting on Rover since 2021, but I’ve been the go-to “Can you watch my dog/cat/goat?” friend for over a decade. I’ve cared for everything from purse-sized pups to dogs the size of small horses, plus cats, guinea pigs, and yes… actual goats. When I’m not shaping young minds in the classroom, I’m happily spoiling pets like they’re my own — walks, snuggles, playtime, belly rubs, and enough photo updates to make your camera roll jealous. Pet sitting is a family affair for me: my husband occasionally joins in, and my 13-year-old daughter (aka the animal whisperer) is my secret weapon for winning over even the shyest pets. Please note if you do not prefer that I include my family during visits, that is not a problem and individual care will be arranged! The goal is to make you and most importantly your pet(s) feel safe and comfortable! If you’re looking for someone reliable, experienced, and genuinely passionate about animals — with a little humor sprinkled in — I’d love to make sure your furry (or feathered, or hooved) family member feels safe, loved, and downright pampered while you’re away. Because I’m a full-time teacher, my schedule is a little unique, but I make it work in a way that keeps your pets happy and cared for without feeling rushed. • Weekends: This is when my calendar is the most open! I’m available most Saturdays and Sundays for drop-in visits throughout the day — morning, afternoon, and evening. • Weekdays (Mon–Fri): My time is more limited due to my teaching schedule. I’m available early in the morning before work and again in the late afternoon/evening after school. To make sure I can be on time and give your pets the attention they deserve, I can only accept weekday visits for clients who are in close proximity to me. Because of my schedule, I currently only offer drop-in visits — no overnights or extended stays. This way, I can give your pets the focused care they need without overcommitting. Drop-ins are perfect for feeding, potty breaks, walks, litter box care, playtime, and plenty of love while you’re away. Even with my teaching career, pet care is a big part of my life. I take it seriously (while still having fun with your pets), and I’m committed to making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved until you get home. When you share instructions for your pet’s care, I follow them closely — after all, you know your pet best. I provide detailed updates after each visit (with plenty of pictures!) so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. I’m happy to walk your pet around the yard or through the neighborhood, provide playtime if that’s what they enjoy, and crate them in the morning or at night if that’s part of their routine. My goal is simple: give you complete peace of mind while providing your pet with the same level of love, attention, and care they get from you.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
