Dog Walkers in Belews Creek, NC

About: I retired from teaching 4 years ago and have been caring for pets in their homes, cleaning litter boxes and taking dogs out for exercise during that time. I have personally owned 2 large dogs well into their senior years. I have had cats my entire life and still have one. I typically take care of cats and dogs when their owners are away; feeding, administering pills, cleaning litter boxes, exercising/playing with dogs, and playing/cuddling with cats. I believe these visits have been the most rewarding activities of my life. As a retired teacher, I am flexible to care for pets any day of the week. I am also willing to stay overnight in your home and be your pet’s companion. I still have a cat of my own on whom I like to check at some point each day if staying nights at another pet owner’s home. Sometimes the owners I serve are away for 7-15 days at a time. I will send daily updates and pictures as well during your absence. I have been providing care for pets in the owners’ homes. I therefore water and feed the cats and dogs and administer pills, if needed. I clean litter boxes and tidy up, making sure pet hair, etc. is cleaned up. I get the mail and take out trash. I play/cuddle with the cats and exercise/play/cuddle with the dogs. I love to walk so I never get enough of walking dogs. I take extra precautions if dogs are anxious when I have to leave for a while, i.e., leave music or TV playing or do something special with the dogs before I leave. The dogs usually sleep in the bed with me and we become great friends.

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals since childhood from dogs and cats to ducks birds and snacks you name it I’ve cared for I’m a SAHM other than taking care of my kiddo and our pets my schedule is wide open I can accept requests same day notice I have a big yard and a dog park not too far from my home I also have a fur baby and two birds myself

About: I've taken care of dogs/pets my whole life, my passion only grew larger for them as I grew older. They are truly the heart of the world and they give us the motivation to keep pushing forward. Not only do I have personal experience caring and medicating animals, but I also have experience dealing with aggressive dogs as well as previous experience working in a kennel/doggy-daycare where I cared for, walked, and medicating cats and dogs in my daily routine. I am also going to NC State currently, going to be a junior in the fall, majoring in animal science which has provided me with so much knowledge on animals and how to best care for them, ranging many species but specializing in companion animals. I'm currently out of college for summer break so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family members and make sure they get the best experience possible while you're away. Personally, I have 2 cats and share 2 more and a dog with a disability with my mom so for me, pet care is a normal daily routine and therefore other forms of pet care are no hassle to add on and I'd love to help out and make sure you and your pet are getting what's best for the both of you! Having companion animals of my own, I know how worrisome it can become when you leave your door open to a stranger, especially with your furry friend's life at hand. Just know I would never treat an animal, person, or home with any type of disrespect nor would I ever imagine doing so. I treat others' things as my own and I'd say I keep things pretty organized and clean. Also, it is important to know that I am not only an animal enthusiast but I am also an animal welfare enthusiast and would do anything in my power to keep your furry friend safe under my watch.

I was honestly freaking out because I did not think I would be able to find one with so little time left. But Zahara immediately responded and agreed to care of Ollie during those days. She was very sweet and even brought my mail inside for me and left it on the counter. I will be recommending her to all of my family and friends. I will be rebooking with her in the future. About: I have cared for several pets in my lifetime with several years of experience. I love animals sometimes more than people, but I genuinely treat them the way that I would treat my own and want nothing more than a comfortable experience with you and your fur babies. I work full-time, but I get off work at 4:30 every single day and am free every single evening and the weekends. I’m free as well as long as I have a schedule set and place I will treat and care for your pet just as I would my own. I will take care of things and do things as you ask. I love animals and I treat peoples things with love and respect.

About: I have experience volunteering at rescues, I worked at an animal shelter for a year and a dog boarding daycare facility for a year. I had my own dog and cat pet sitting business back in Highschool. I have fostered animals too. I have a cat named cookie who is 2 years old and have previously owned a dog and grew up with dogs. I love animals and love to learn about them I work part time at a county park so have a lot of time for taking care of dogs or cats. Would love for this to be like a part time job. I’m unable to pet sit but I can house sit. I’ve house sitter pets in my neighbor hood and really enjoyed it so decided to start on rover.

About: I have been working with multiple dog trainers to learn how to handle dogs. I have four of my own that I have trained and work with daily, as well as a new puppy that I’m training to be my service dog! I would love to give your pet the opportunity to have nice walks around your neighborhood, with a dog lover who will give them the attention that they deserve! I will give them the personal touch that makes a long lasting dog walker. If you are having trouble with loose leash walking, I can do some simple exercises to better your dogs quality of life. I hope to work with you in the future, as I would love to meet and work with all the dogs I can! I spend a lot of my days with my service dog in training while I’m in the middle of finishing online school, and would love to help out your dogs as well! For dog walking, I’m very observant and will always keep your dogs safety in mind. You dog having fun while ensuring they get the exercise they need is my main goal. Since I’m also a beginner dog trainer, I will offer simple services to help the walks go much smoother. I may ask for your pups regular treats, to ensure they don’t get a stomach ache from new foods they aren’t used to. I will always have you and your dogs best interest in mind.
