About: I retired from teaching 4 years ago and have been caring for pets in their homes, cleaning litter boxes and taking dogs out for exercise during that time. I have personally owned 2 large dogs well into their senior years. I have had cats my entire life and still have one. I typically take care of cats and dogs when their owners are away; feeding, administering pills, cleaning litter boxes, exercising/playing with dogs, and playing/cuddling with cats. I believe these visits have been the most rewarding activities of my life. As a retired teacher, I am flexible to care for pets any day of the week. I am also willing to stay overnight in your home and be your pet’s companion. I still have a cat of my own on whom I like to check at some point each day if staying nights at another pet owner’s home. Sometimes the owners I serve are away for 7-15 days at a time. I will send daily updates and pictures as well during your absence. I have been providing care for pets in the owners’ homes. I therefore water and feed the cats and dogs and administer pills, if needed. I clean litter boxes and tidy up, making sure pet hair, etc. is cleaned up. I get the mail and take out trash. I play/cuddle with the cats and exercise/play/cuddle with the dogs. I love to walk so I never get enough of walking dogs. I take extra precautions if dogs are anxious when I have to leave for a while, i.e., leave music or TV playing or do something special with the dogs before I leave. The dogs usually sleep in the bed with me and we become great friends.

About: I've taken care of dogs/pets my whole life, my passion only grew larger for them as I grew older. They are truly the heart of the world and they give us the motivation to keep pushing forward. Not only do I have personal experience caring and medicating animals, but I also have experience dealing with aggressive dogs as well as previous experience working in a kennel/doggy-daycare where I cared for, walked, and medicating cats and dogs in my daily routine. I am also going to NC State currently, going to be a junior in the fall, majoring in animal science which has provided me with so much knowledge on animals and how to best care for them, ranging many species but specializing in companion animals. About: I've had pets growing up my entire life. I love animals and just enjoy being around them and giving them love! About: I have experience volunteering at rescues, I worked at an animal shelter for a year and a dog boarding daycare facility for a year. I had my own dog and cat pet sitting business back in Highschool. I have fostered animals too. I have a cat named cookie who is 2 years old and have previously owned a dog and grew up with dogs.
