About: I can't pass a pup in public without getting in a quick pet. If I'm meeting you for the first time I may or may not remember your name, but I'll remember every detail (including name) of your pup. I'm 50 years old, but when I'm in the presence of a furry friend, I start baby talking like a 2-year-old. Bottom line, I love dogs. I am Mama to 4 rescue pups and a rescue kitty. I've proudly fostered 9 rescues over the years and although it's a challenging job, it's extremely rewarding seeing them happy and healthy in their forever homes and knowing that I had a small part to play in that. I'm a stay-at-home Mom of two teenagers who don't need me nearly as much as they used too. That newly acquired free time enables me to accomodate almost any number of drop in visits per day to spend quality time with your fur baby! My pups are used to a specific routine and thrive when they are comfortable and know what to expect. With that being said, I'm happy to follow any care instructions that you request. From administering medication to going on fun-filled walks, your request is my command!

About: I retired from teaching 4 years ago and have been caring for pets in their homes, cleaning litter boxes and taking dogs out for exercise during that time. I have personally owned 2 large dogs well into their senior years. I have had cats my entire life and still have one. I typically take care of cats and dogs when their owners are away; feeding, administering pills, cleaning litter boxes, exercising/playing with dogs, and playing/cuddling with cats. I believe these visits have been the most rewarding activities of my life. As a retired teacher, I am flexible to care for pets any day of the week. I am also willing to stay overnight in your home and be your pet’s companion. I still have a cat of my own on whom I like to check at some point each day if staying nights at another pet owner’s home. Sometimes the owners I serve are away for 7-15 days at a time. I will send daily updates and pictures as well during your absence. I have been providing care for pets in the owners’ homes. I therefore water and feed the cats and dogs and administer pills, if needed. I clean litter boxes and tidy up, making sure pet hair, etc. is cleaned up. I get the mail and take out trash. I play/cuddle with the cats and exercise/play/cuddle with the dogs. I love to walk so I never get enough of walking dogs. I take extra precautions if dogs are anxious when I have to leave for a while, i.e., leave music or TV playing or do something special with the dogs before I leave. The dogs usually sleep in the bed with me and we become great friends.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes for friends and neighbors and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or extra attention, I’ll make sure they stay happy, active, and well cared for while you’re away. I am a pre-med student at NC State that is looking to continue caring for animals and enjoy doing it! I am home for the summer and have a flexible schedule. I’m organized and good at planning ahead, which helps me stay consistent with visits and make sure pets are cared for on time. I ensure they are always fed, hydrated, cared for, and active throughout the experience to ensure the pets remain happy and healthy. I will play with the pet and take them for lots of walks. About: I've taken care of dogs/pets my whole life, my passion only grew larger for them as I grew older. They are truly the heart of the world and they give us the motivation to keep pushing forward. Not only do I have personal experience caring and medicating animals, but I also have experience dealing with aggressive dogs as well as previous experience working in a kennel/doggy-daycare where I cared for, walked, and medicating cats and dogs in my daily routine. I am also going to NC State currently, going to be a junior in the fall, majoring in animal science which has provided me with so much knowledge on animals and how to best care for them, ranging many species but specializing in companion animals. I'm currently out of college for summer break so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family members and make sure they get the best experience possible while you're away. Personally, I have 2 cats and share 2 more and a dog with a disability with my mom so for me, pet care is a normal daily routine and therefore other forms of pet care are no hassle to add on and I'd love to help out and make sure you and your pet are getting what's best for the both of you! Having companion animals of my own, I know how worrisome it can become when you leave your door open to a stranger, especially with your furry friend's life at hand. Just know I would never treat an animal, person, or home with any type of disrespect nor would I ever imagine doing so. I treat others' things as my own and I'd say I keep things pretty organized and clean. Also, it is important to know that I am not only an animal enthusiast but I am also an animal welfare enthusiast and would do anything in my power to keep your furry friend safe under my watch.

About: I've had pets growing up my entire life. I love animals and just enjoy being around them and giving them love! I've taken care of several pets for friends and family and just want to continue to do that for others when needed. I have my own business so I have a very flexible schedule and can be available day or night to take care of your furr babies 😊 My own animals are so friendly and loving and my home would be completely safe for ur furr babies but at this time I won't be able to board any pets at my house. This may change in the future.

About: Hello! I’m an animal science major at North Carolina State University. I’ve been pet sitting for 6 years now for friends and family. I worked at Willow Run Dog Boarding for 4 years before they sold it. I’ve also helped out long-term for a family who worked night shifts for a year and I foster dogs through Saving Grace while I’m at school! I’m a college student home for the summer, and I'm currently looking for a part-time job. About: I have experience volunteering at rescues, I worked at an animal shelter for a year and a dog boarding daycare facility for a year. I had my own dog and cat pet sitting business back in Highschool. I have fostered animals too. I have a cat named cookie who is 2 years old and have previously owned a dog and grew up with dogs. I love animals and love to learn about them I work part time at a county park so have a lot of time for taking care of dogs or cats. Would love for this to be like a part time job. I’m unable to pet sit but I can house sit. I’ve house sitter pets in my neighbor hood and really enjoyed it so decided to start on rover.

When it comes to dogs, I've pet-sat and done drop-ins for many peoples pets these past years. I love going on long walks with dogs that need them, and I understand some have limitations and may just need to be let out to the back yard too. I also love to play with the more energetic ones that want to play. I'm very respectful of your space and privacy. I'll make sure that if I stay in your home to pet-sit, everything will be back they way it was (pr better) by the time I've finished taking care of your dog. I can also administer topical and oral medications for dogs, so if they need daily pills or to have their flea and tick preventative administered, I can absolutely help! I work part time and I can make my own schedule, so I have plenty of time to either drop in to take care of your pets, or stay in your home with them! If you need to ensure that child protective locks are always in place or that you dog gets crated at the end of the day, I can guarantee that will happen. I'm also very cautious of little escape artists, and will be sure that your pets are securely in your home as I'm leaving and entering.
