About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover and current pet parent to one energetic German Shorthaired Pointer puppy and two independent (but secretly snuggly) cats. Caring for such a high-energy breed has given me lots of experience with exercise needs, structure, and gentle training — while my cats remind me to always respect boundaries and read body language. Whether your pet is playful, shy, anxious, or a total goofball, I meet them where they are. I believe in kind, attentive care and keeping pets as comfortable and happy as possible while you’re away. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. With a flexible schedule and ample free time, I’m able to provide reliable, consistent care tailored to your pet’s needs. Whether it’s frequent potty breaks, medication on a schedule, or just keeping them company, I’m fully present and available. I do my best to create a calm, safe, and loving environment. I’m always respectful of your space and stick closely to your pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free.

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals, from goats to chickens to house cats. I own a dog, who’s a year and a half old now, but I trained him from the time he was 8 weeks old. I also had a senior dog in my teens that I took care of. I have never met a critter I don’t love!! I’m currently a stay at home mom to my young daughter so I have plenty of time to pour all the love into your pup or kitty (or other!). My schedule is flexible to suit your needs and your fur baby’s preferences. I have a happy, friendly mid sized heeler pup who just loves other dogs and cats. I am happy to crate him if you are more comfortable with our critters not interacting while in my home, and of course, he will remain at my house while I care for your animals in your own home.

About: I retired from teaching 4 years ago and have been caring for pets in their homes, cleaning litter boxes and taking dogs out for exercise during that time. I have personally owned 2 large dogs well into their senior years. I have had cats my entire life and still have one. I typically take care of cats and dogs when their owners are away; feeding, administering pills, cleaning litter boxes, exercising/playing with dogs, and playing/cuddling with cats. I believe these visits have been the most rewarding activities of my life. As a retired teacher, I am flexible to care for pets any day of the week. I am also willing to stay overnight in your home and be your pet’s companion. I still have a cat of my own on whom I like to check at some point each day if staying nights at another pet owner’s home. Sometimes the owners I serve are away for 7-15 days at a time. I will send daily updates and pictures as well during your absence. I have been providing care for pets in the owners’ homes. I therefore water and feed the cats and dogs and administer pills, if needed. I clean litter boxes and tidy up, making sure pet hair, etc. is cleaned up. I get the mail and take out trash. I play/cuddle with the cats and exercise/play/cuddle with the dogs. I love to walk so I never get enough of walking dogs. I take extra precautions if dogs are anxious when I have to leave for a while, i.e., leave music or TV playing or do something special with the dogs before I leave. The dogs usually sleep in the bed with me and we become great friends.

About: I've taken care of dogs/pets my whole life, my passion only grew larger for them as I grew older. They are truly the heart of the world and they give us the motivation to keep pushing forward. Not only do I have personal experience caring and medicating animals, but I also have experience dealing with aggressive dogs as well as previous experience working in a kennel/doggy-daycare where I cared for, walked, and medicating cats and dogs in my daily routine. I am also going to NC State currently, going to be a junior in the fall, majoring in animal science which has provided me with so much knowledge on animals and how to best care for them, ranging many species but specializing in companion animals. I'm currently out of college for summer break so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family members and make sure they get the best experience possible while you're away. Personally, I have 2 cats and share 2 more and a dog with a disability with my mom so for me, pet care is a normal daily routine and therefore other forms of pet care are no hassle to add on and I'd love to help out and make sure you and your pet are getting what's best for the both of you! Having companion animals of my own, I know how worrisome it can become when you leave your door open to a stranger, especially with your furry friend's life at hand. Just know I would never treat an animal, person, or home with any type of disrespect nor would I ever imagine doing so. I treat others' things as my own and I'd say I keep things pretty organized and clean. Also, it is important to know that I am not only an animal enthusiast but I am also an animal welfare enthusiast and would do anything in my power to keep your furry friend safe under my watch.

I was honestly freaking out because I did not think I would be able to find one with so little time left. But Zahara immediately responded and agreed to care of Ollie during those days. She was very sweet and even brought my mail inside for me and left it on the counter. I will be recommending her to all of my family and friends. I will be rebooking with her in the future. About: I've had pets growing up my entire life. I love animals and just enjoy being around them and giving them love! I've taken care of several pets for friends and family and just want to continue to do that for others when needed. I have my own business so I have a very flexible schedule and can be available day or night to take care of your furr babies 😊 My own animals are so friendly and loving and my home would be completely safe for ur furr babies but at this time I won't be able to board any pets at my house. This may change in the future.

I am a stay at home mom so I have an open and flexible daily schedule, I enjoy early morning walks. I am also open for boarding on weekday or weekends. I have a fenced yard and plenty of space in my home for pets to feel comfortable. My cat can be kept separate if needed. I’m also available for house sitting if that’s preferred.

About: I’ve worked in vets offices with 2 years experience. I am capable of giving medications or treatments. I can also do light grooming nails/ brushing. I’m available throughout the week and weekends, I have the weekends marked out as of right now but I’m willing to do them as well! I am comfortable with any type of kenneling a dog, cat. I am able to understand stressors for a dog and read their body language. If they like music or prefer to be outside I will be right there with them!

I am currently retired and home most of the day. I walk your dogs as requested or walk around my fenced in yard. I play with the dogs throughout the day and give snacks. I have a fenced in yard, friendly dogs to keep yours company, and no stairs. I keep temporary fences at both entrances to ensure extra safety.

About: I was raised on a farm with cats and dogs. I have a plott hound mix, a pit bull, a lab, and a sassy calico cat, all rescues, of my own. I have a lot of compassion for animals and treat them like members of the family, albeit spoiled ones. My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while their human(s) are gone. I am comfortable with cats and small to large dogs at any energy level. My neighbors, vet, and friends can provide references, if needed. I work in education, so my summer schedule is wide open. Nights, weekends, and some holidays are possible during the school year. I am able to check in, walk, stay overnight, etc. In your home, I will follow the instructions given and take pictures to let you know your pets are well taken care of. My goal is to make them as comfortable as possible while their humans are away.

About: Hello! I’m an animal science major at North Carolina State University. I’ve been pet sitting for 6 years now for friends and family. I worked at Willow Run Dog Boarding for 4 years before they sold it. I’ve also helped out long-term for a family who worked night shifts for a year and I foster dogs through Saving Grace while I’m at school! I’m a college student home for the summer, and I'm currently looking for a part-time job. I’m free all day everyday 🤗 I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including feeding, walks, playtime, and cleaning litter boxes. At home, we have a fenced-in yard and one husky, but I prefer caring for pets through home visits so pets can stay comfortable in their own environment. I’m also happy to help with small tasks around the house like watering plants, bringing in mail, or keeping things tidy while you’re away.
