“Amanda was amazing coming to visit our two pooches during the day. She is very thorough in the meet & greet and likes all the details you can provide. Both our dogs enjoyed her visits and walks. Will be using Amanda over and over again!”

About: I’ve taken care of so many different kinds of dogs since I was a little girl, from helping with breeding, nursing baby puppies back to health, potty training, growing up, and also as they grew old. Small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, they all have been a part of my life of which I have enjoyed. Sadly, seizures and surgeries with daily medications have also been a part of the care I have given. I LOVE animals and love on any of those in my care like they are my own. I’m off work in the summers and can board all days of the week. When I go back to work, I can still board dogs all days of the week, but would just be away from home during my working hours. I have a fenced in backyard and two friendly dogs that will keep your pup comfortable while you are away. I also have two crates that can be used unless you prefer to bring your own. Dog beds, blankets, and dog water are available at all times.

About: I have a deep love for animals. I have had cats, dogs, and bunnies. I’ve grown up with animals around me and have taken care of friend’s dogs. It ranges from small dogs like Westies, to big dogs like Great Danes, and pitbulls/“agressive” dog breeds as well, the love is for everyone!! I’m currently at Wake Forest University - School of Medicine and I’m working part time in a laboratory. I have a very flexible schedule, so I am pretty much available whenever! I currently have 2 bunnies at home, they free roam, and i love to give them pets, kisses, and attention. The same would go for any fur baby i encounter!

“Dinira is an absolute pleasure to work with. She accommodated our request for a walk just the day before we needed it and for a new dog. She easily put our usually suspicious lab at ease and he came back quite happy! She can walk our dog anytime.”

“Today was the first time Tricia walked Daisy. She came and met with us last week and we immediately had peace of mind. She is so loving and Daisy accepted her immediately. We were so lucky to find her!!”

“Bonnie was very understanding of Murphs needs! He’s an energetic pup that requires a lot of patience and she gave him exactly that!”

About: Let me begin by saying I LOVE animals. My family and I have always had dogs and cats ever since I was a child. I have experience in house sitting and caring for multiple dogs at a time, as well as administering medication. As an owner of a 7 year old German Shepherd named Oliver, and his younger siblings that are 4 year old German Shepherd/Husky mixes named Mango and Wylie, I completely understand the hesitancy in trusting a stranger to care for your fur babies. I love every dog like they are my own. I also have experience in taking care of cats and cats that are elderly. I had the opportunity to take ownership of a 20 year old cat, and I got to love and care for her for the last two years of her life. I am currently in between jobs and working towards a certification online. Which means, my availability to care for your pet is very flexible and will be able to give your pet the attention they need. I care for your pets with the utmost love, care and flexibility. If there are routines/rules in place, I will abide by them strictly, as I understand that sometimes diverting from those routines can be traumatic for your dog. Routines includes meal times, treats, walks, being let out to use the bathroom and playtime. If you are looking for photo updates as well, I’m more than happy to send those over.

“Abby was so great with our Ella. She arrived on time and took great care in remembering all the nuanced instructions we had. Ella enjoyed a great walk and we were happy to know she was taken care of while we were away. 🐶❤️”

“Kyleigh is the best. She is flexible- our family appreciates because our schedules are crazy but she’s willing to make it work where she can. I trust her completely in my home and with my dog and cat. She is someone you can trust, count on, and will be exceptionally kind and loving with your pets. I would t hesitate to recommend Kyleigh.”

About: I retired from teaching 3 years ago and have been caring for pets in their homes, cleaning litter boxes and taking dogs out for exercise during that time. I have personally owned 2 large dogs well into their senior years. I have had cats my entire life and still have one. I typically take care of cats and dogs when their owners are away; feeding, administering pills, bathing and cleaning ears and eyes, cleaning litter boxes, trimming claws, exercising/playing with dogs, and playing/cuddling with cats. I believe these visits have been the most rewarding activities of my life. As a retired teacher, I am flexible to care for pets any day of the week. I am also willing to stay overnight in your home and be your pet’s companion. I still have a cat of my own on whom I like to check at some point each day if staying nights at another pet owner’s home. Sometimes the owners I serve are away for 7-15 days at a time. I will send daily updates and pictures as well during your absence. I have been providing care for pets in the owners’ homes. I therefore water and feed the cats and dogs and administer pills, if needed. I clean litter boxes and tidy up, making sure pet hair, etc. is cleaned up. I get the mail and take out trash. I play/cuddle with the cats and exercise/play/cuddle with the dogs. I love to walk so I never get enough of walking dogs. I take extra precautions if dogs are anxious when I have to leave for a while, i.e., leave music playing or do something special with the dogs before I leave. The dogs usually sleep in the bed with me and we become great friends.

“Breanna was wonderful with my two pups! I reached out to a very last minute walk and she was super communicative, SO kind, and patient! 100% recommended!”

About: Hello! I'm Michelle, an experienced pet sitter and I am excited about the opportunity to care for your pet(s). Animals have been part of my life since childhood, and caring for them continues to bring me joy and purpose. My journey in pet care grew deeper after rescuing my beloved Ellie Mae, a dog with a challenging past, deepening my compassion for pets with behavioral needs. I’ve also cared for senior dogs and cats, providing medication and extra attention to keep them comfortable and happy. I offer a range of services—including overnight stays—focused on creating a safe, nurturing environment tailored to each pet’s unique needs. I’d love to meet your pets and be someone you can count on while you're away! Pet care fits seamlessly into my flexible schedule as I currently take online classes to support a career change. I’m available seven days a week, both days and nights, to provide consistent, reliable care tailored to your pet’s needs. I provide reliable, in-home care, ensuring your pet feels secure and well-loved in their environment. I maintain consistent routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any needed medications. I’m experienced with senior dogs and rescue pups who may need extra patience or special care. I also care for cats, supporting everything from litter box maintenance to administering medications like insulin for diabetic cats.

“Had to find a sitter at the last minute because my other one cancelled on me thee night before I was going to be leaving out of town. I was honestly freaking out because I did not think I would be able to find one with so little time left. But Zahara immediately responded and agreed to care of Ollie during those days. She was very sweet and even brought my mail inside for me and left it on the counter. I will be recommending her to all of my family and friends. I will be rebooking with her in the future. Thank you”

“We love having Audrey come help with our furbaby! We always get photos and a summary of the visit!”

“Megan is a wonderful, caring, efficient, and punctual dog walker. We love her connection with our pups and the thoroughness of her reports.”

About: I've taken care of dogs/pets my whole life, my passion only grew larger for them as I grew older. They are truly the heart of the world and they give us the motivation to keep pushing forward. Not only do I have personal experience caring and medicating animals, but I also have experience dealing with aggressive dogs as well as previous experience working in a kennel/doggy-daycare where I cared for, walked, and medicating cats and dogs in my daily routine. I am also going to NC State currently, going to be a junior in the fall, majoring in animal science which has provided me with so much knowledge on animals and how to best care for them, ranging many species but specializing in companion animals. I'm currently out of college for summer break so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family members and make sure they get the best experience possible while you're away. Personally, I have 2 cats and share 2 more and a dog with a disability with my mom so for me, pet care is a normal daily routine and therefore other forms of pet care are no hassle to add on and I'd love to help out and make sure you and your pet are getting what's best for the both of you! Having companion animals of my own, I know how worrisome it can become when you leave your door open to a stranger, especially with your furry friend's life at hand. Just know I would never treat an animal, person, or home with any type of disrespect nor would I ever imagine doing so. I treat others' things as my own and I'd say I keep things pretty organized and clean. Also, it is important to know that I am not only an animal enthusiast but I am also an animal welfare enthusiast and would do anything in my power to keep your furry friend safe under my watch.

About: I have experience volunteering at rescues, I worked at an animal shelter for a year and a dog boarding daycare facility for a year. I had my own dog and cat pet sitting business back in Highschool. I have fostered animals too. I have a cat named cookie who is 2 years old and have previously owned a dog and grew up with dogs. I love animals and love to learn about them I work part time at a county park so have a lot of time for taking care of dogs or cats. Would love for this to be like a part time job. I’m unable to pet sit but I can house sit. I’ve house sitter pets in my neighbor hood and really enjoyed it so decided to start on rover.

About: I have been surrounded by pets my entire life, always having at least 3 cats at home and all of my close friends have at least one dog. Even last year I adopted my own kitten and raised him and his sister for their first 6 months and now just take care of my cat. I’ve taken care of a variety of pets like dog, cats, lizards, and even sugar gliders. I’ve done everything from long term house/dog sitting to daily check ins/feedings. I am not currently in school or have a traditional job, but instead pet sit and am an artist who does commissions! I have a generally open schedule but am extremely flexible and can help out whenever is most convenient for you. I give whatever pet I am caring for great amounts of attention and do whatever I can to make the pet as comfortable as possible while their owner is away.

19. Savannah S.
“Savannah has been a very close friend of mine for over 9 years. Over these years of knowing them, my family and I have relied on them to watch our animals when we go out of town. We have two older dogs and one of them has extreme anxiety and needs. I often worry about my dogs being in the hands of other people but when Savannah can watch them, my anxiety is immediately lifted. Savannah won't only meet your animal's needs but become a close friend to them. Anytime Savannah comes to my house, my dogs get so excited to see them! It's important for animals to feel safe and comfortable when their owner is gone and Savannah does an excellent job at making them feel loved.”
