About: I’ve taken care of so many different kinds of dogs since I was a little girl, from helping with breeding, nursing baby puppies back to health, potty training, growing up, and also as they grew old. Small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, they all have been a part of my life of which I have enjoyed. Sadly, seizures and surgeries with daily medications have also been a part of the care I have given. I LOVE animals and love on any of those in my care like they are my own. I’m off work in the summers and can board all days of the week. When I go back to work, I can still board dogs all days of the week, but would just be away from home during my working hours. I have a fenced in backyard and two friendly dogs that will keep your pup comfortable while you are away. I also have two crates that can be used unless you prefer to bring your own. Dog beds, blankets, and dog water are available at all times.

About: I have a deep love for animals. I have had cats, dogs, and bunnies. I’ve grown up with animals around me and have taken care of friend’s dogs. It ranges from small dogs like Westies, to big dogs like Great Danes, and pitbulls/“agressive” dog breeds as well, the love is for everyone!! I’m currently at Wake Forest University - School of Medicine and I’m working part time in a laboratory. I have a very flexible schedule, so I am pretty much available whenever! I currently have 2 bunnies at home, they free roam, and i love to give them pets, kisses, and attention. The same would go for any fur baby i encounter!

About: Let me begin by saying I LOVE animals. My family and I have always had dogs and cats ever since I was a child. I have experience in house sitting and caring for multiple dogs at a time, as well as administering medication. As an owner of a 7 year old German Shepherd named Oliver, and his younger siblings that are 4 year old German Shepherd/Husky mixes named Mango and Wylie, I completely understand the hesitancy in trusting a stranger to care for your fur babies. I love every dog like they are my own. I also have experience in taking care of cats and cats that are elderly. I had the opportunity to take ownership of a 20 year old cat, and I got to love and care for her for the last two years of her life. I am currently in between jobs and working towards a certification online. Which means, my availability to care for your pet is very flexible and will be able to give your pet the attention they need. I care for your pets with the utmost love, care and flexibility. If there are routines/rules in place, I will abide by them strictly, as I understand that sometimes diverting from those routines can be traumatic for your dog. Routines includes meal times, treats, walks, being let out to use the bathroom and playtime. If you are looking for photo updates as well, I’m more than happy to send those over.

About: I retired from teaching 3 years ago and have been caring for pets in their homes, cleaning litter boxes and taking dogs out for exercise during that time. I have personally owned 2 large dogs well into their senior years. I have had cats my entire life and still have one. I typically take care of cats and dogs when their owners are away; feeding, administering pills, bathing and cleaning ears and eyes, cleaning litter boxes, trimming claws, exercising/playing with dogs, and playing/cuddling with cats. I believe these visits have been the most rewarding activities of my life. As a retired teacher, I am flexible to care for pets any day of the week. I am also willing to stay overnight in your home and be your pet’s companion. I still have a cat of my own on whom I like to check at some point each day if staying nights at another pet owner’s home. Sometimes the owners I serve are away for 7-15 days at a time. I will send daily updates and pictures as well during your absence. I have been providing care for pets in the owners’ homes. I therefore water and feed the cats and dogs and administer pills, if needed. I clean litter boxes and tidy up, making sure pet hair, etc. is cleaned up. I get the mail and take out trash. I play/cuddle with the cats and exercise/play/cuddle with the dogs. I love to walk so I never get enough of walking dogs. I take extra precautions if dogs are anxious when I have to leave for a while, i.e., leave music playing or do something special with the dogs before I leave. The dogs usually sleep in the bed with me and we become great friends.

About: I've taken care of dogs/pets my whole life, my passion only grew larger for them as I grew older. They are truly the heart of the world and they give us the motivation to keep pushing forward. Not only do I have personal experience caring and medicating animals, but I also have experience dealing with aggressive dogs as well as previous experience working in a kennel/doggy-daycare where I cared for, walked, and medicating cats and dogs in my daily routine. I am also going to NC State currently, going to be a junior in the fall, majoring in animal science which has provided me with so much knowledge on animals and how to best care for them, ranging many species but specializing in companion animals. I'm currently out of college for summer break so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family members and make sure they get the best experience possible while you're away. Personally, I have 2 cats and share 2 more and a dog with a disability with my mom so for me, pet care is a normal daily routine and therefore other forms of pet care are no hassle to add on and I'd love to help out and make sure you and your pet are getting what's best for the both of you! Having companion animals of my own, I know how worrisome it can become when you leave your door open to a stranger, especially with your furry friend's life at hand. About: I have experience volunteering at rescues, I worked at an animal shelter for a year and a dog boarding daycare facility for a year. I had my own dog and cat pet sitting business back in Highschool. I have fostered animals too. I have a cat named cookie who is 2 years old and have previously owned a dog and grew up with dogs. I love animals and love to learn about them I work part time at a county park so have a lot of time for taking care of dogs or cats. Would love for this to be like a part time job. I’m unable to pet sit but I can house sit. I’ve house sitter pets in my neighbor hood and really enjoyed it so decided to start on rover.

About: I have been surrounded by pets my entire life, always having at least 3 cats at home and all of my close friends have at least one dog. Even last year I adopted my own kitten and raised him and his sister for their first 6 months and now just take care of my cat. I’ve taken care of a variety of pets like dog, cats, lizards, and even sugar gliders. I’ve done everything from long term house/dog sitting to daily check ins/feedings. I am not currently in school or have a traditional job, but instead pet sit and am an artist who does commissions! I have a generally open schedule but am extremely flexible and can help out whenever is most convenient for you. We have a large fenced in back yard with lots of shade. Our family has two dogs. Ava, a lab chow mix who loves other dogs and company; and Rocket, an older maltese. We also have two cats, Josephine and Henry who are very used to dogs and typically do their own thing. We work from home, so we are able to give extra care to your pet by giving potty breaks as much as needed. We live in a large neighborhood with lots of pet families and lots of paths for walking.
