About: I retired from teaching 4 years ago and have been caring for pets in their homes, cleaning litter boxes and taking dogs out for exercise during that time. I have personally owned 2 large dogs well into their senior years. I have had cats my entire life and still have one. I typically take care of cats and dogs when their owners are away; feeding, administering pills, cleaning litter boxes, exercising/playing with dogs, and playing/cuddling with cats. I believe these visits have been the most rewarding activities of my life. As a retired teacher, I am flexible to care for pets any day of the week. I am also willing to stay overnight in your home and be your pet’s companion. I still have a cat of my own on whom I like to check at some point each day if staying nights at another pet owner’s home. Sometimes the owners I serve are away for 7-15 days at a time. I will send daily updates and pictures as well during your absence. I have been providing care for pets in the owners’ homes. I therefore water and feed the cats and dogs and administer pills, if needed. I clean litter boxes and tidy up, making sure pet hair, etc. is cleaned up. I get the mail and take out trash. I play/cuddle with the cats and exercise/play/cuddle with the dogs. I love to walk so I never get enough of walking dogs. I take extra precautions if dogs are anxious when I have to leave for a while, i.e., leave music or TV playing or do something special with the dogs before I leave. The dogs usually sleep in the bed with me and we become great friends.

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover and current pet parent to one energetic German Shorthaired Pointer puppy and two independent (but secretly snuggly) cats. About: I've taken care of dogs/pets my whole life, my passion only grew larger for them as I grew older. They are truly the heart of the world and they give us the motivation to keep pushing forward. Not only do I have personal experience caring and medicating animals, but I also have experience dealing with aggressive dogs as well as previous experience working in a kennel/doggy-daycare where I cared for, walked, and medicating cats and dogs in my daily routine. I am also going to NC State currently, going to be a junior in the fall, majoring in animal science which has provided me with so much knowledge on animals and how to best care for them, ranging many species but specializing in companion animals. I'm currently out of college for summer break so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family members and make sure they get the best experience possible while you're away. Personally, I have 2 cats and share 2 more and a dog with a disability with my mom so for me, pet care is a normal daily routine and therefore other forms of pet care are no hassle to add on and I'd love to help out and make sure you and your pet are getting what's best for the both of you! Having companion animals of my own, I know how worrisome it can become when you leave your door open to a stranger, especially with your furry friend's life at hand. Just know I would never treat an animal, person, or home with any type of disrespect nor would I ever imagine doing so. I treat others' things as my own and I'd say I keep things pretty organized and clean. Also, it is important to know that I am not only an animal enthusiast but I am also an animal welfare enthusiast and would do anything in my power to keep your furry friend safe under my watch.

About: I've had pets growing up my entire life. I love animals and just enjoy being around them and giving them love! I've taken care of several pets for friends and family and just want to continue to do that for others when needed. I have my own business so I have a very flexible schedule and can be available day or night to take care of your furr babies 😊 My own animals are so friendly and loving and my home would be completely safe for ur furr babies but at this time I won't be able to board any pets at my house. This may change in the future.

About: Raised my own dog and his puppy from birth, now experienced with senior care. Pet sitting is natural to me, it's not just a job. I currently have a part time job and in college. My hours vary through the week but they are set depending the season because of school. I have a senior dog, so he can either be relaxed or playful. So I can always adjust to my babies needs and I can do the same for yours!

About: I’ve always grown up with animals in the home, a home isn’t a home unless you here the pitter patter of those paws of the floor. Dogs are at the heart of my being and unfortunately you can only have so many. But the best way I’ve found to experience the love of all kind of dogs are through the caring for of everyone else’s four legged friend. I’ve always watched and cared for others animals off and on as a side income and personal enjoyment; giving all the love and attention they need while their human is away. All the way back when I was in high school, many years ago, I discovered the love and care for others dogs when I worked for the groomers and it’s never stopped since. My sweet Winter departed in 2020 after 13 long and steady years by my side and while I haven’t yet been ready to give my full heart away I’ve found great healing, giving lots of love, walks, baths, ball games, and lots of snuggs, All welcomed with love. Our backyard is large and fenced in, ready for fetch and play time. We are used to having little furry ones (especially our neighbor’s little ones) wandering around and keep it in the front of mind always. I also had a senior dog in my teens that I took care of. I have never met a critter I don’t love!!
